We've been coming to this restaurant for years whenever we stay in Jasper. Always a solid meal. This time we had the lamb souvlaki and salmon with rice, pitas, tzatziki and greek salad followed by dessert. It was delicious. Felt like a home cooked meal. Very grateful for all their years of service and hospitality.
This has been my favorite restaurant in Jasper for my whole life. Joanne and Gus are the best people around. The food here is incredible. Home made. Delicious. Everything I’ve ever eaten here is so good! The portions are huge. I love this place and recommend to all my friends. Go! And enjoy some fantastic meals!
We had a great dinner our first night in jasper here. The food tasted great, the portions were sizeable and the service was prompt and friendly. Also really loved the decor and atmosphere. The owner even came by with our dishes to check if everything tasted well. Will be happy to revisit when I'm back in the area.
A very quaint restaurant right off the main strip in Jasper. It certainly gives off the family owned vibes. It's cozy, welcoming and the food is great!
Great greek food! Reasonable priced food. Clean place, with old style feel. Courteous staff, parking was easy, and located downtown so it's a quick walk from hotels and some sweet dessert shops. Will be back!
You have to stop here if you are in jasper! The chicken souvlaki was on point! Amazing prices and so many options for food and drinks. The atmosphere was so tropical and our server gajanand was so friendly and accommodating!
Good food, but generic selection. Good service. High chair for my child was very unstable as the screws were nearly all backed out.
Ordered the LW burger. It was good but the portions were a little smaller than expected for the price. Granted its probably inflated pricing since its Jasper.
Wife ordered the quarter chicken and she seemed to have enjoyed it.
Server was very polite and overall service was quite great
*was also disappointed to hear that the desserts were not made in-house
Had dinner 2 evenings Dec 27,28 2022. Best Greek pizza ever. Variety of options, everyone in our party had different options, all were delicious. Great service. Great atmosphere.
Had the 1/2 chicken. Could not have imagined anything better. Every item tested like luxury. Atmosphere was also amazing, fantastic decor. Without knowing the price I would have guessed 2-3x as much. Please go eat here.
Service and environment is really nice. The waiter is very caring. We got calamari for appetizer (seems not on the menu, but a house special) which is nice, a house salad and today's soup, and a barbecue chicken. Would love to visit again!
Good food! And OMG the plants all over the place! We were lucky enough to have a little chat with the owner, very nice lady! Oh! And food was delicious!
There were six of us for supper and it was great. The food was delicious, served promptly and hot. Our server was attentive but too busy to hover. He was great. We will be returning when we go back to Jasper.
SUCH a disappointmet. Chose this place because I really really wanted good food and figured that since it has been opened a long time, it must be good. Boy was I wrong. Ordered the $30 salmon and could not believe it when I was brought frozen now mushy veggies, still cool, which was 70% onions. Terrible. The whole meal was disappointing. Save your time and money.
Just grab a quick lunch before heading back to Edmonton and did worth the try. The hamburger is a little bit salty but still great. Not quite sure the owner or staff, who serviced us but she was very nice and caring. Good work. I highly recommend if you want a cozy place for lunch or dinner.
I am sorry to say that it was disappointing. Unique ambiance with trees growing inside the restaurant and you are sitting under the canopies. Owner is a lovely Greek grandma. But, having just come back from Greece, I can tell that you need to fire your cooks. The food was bland and very disappointing. Fish and Chips - very small pieces of fish. Not particularly flavorful. Weird texture (as if it's been sitting frozen for too long). Fries were good. Steamed vegetables - some undercooked and some overcooked by quite a bit. Like you took an old batch that wasn't finished from yesterday and cooked it again (and again) with new batch. Lamb Souvlaki - was that even lamb? No particular flavor to the meat. Rice was fine. Greek salad was adequate though could definitely use a competent cook to make it great. Ambiance is great, but in a restaurant, food is what counts. I would have enjoyed eating a sandwich while sitting under a tree outside better.
The location is nice and you can definitely tell “family owned”. Feels like you’re going to grandmas house. The service is friendly but a slow, and nobody came by outside of taking orders and dropping off drinks/food. The food itself was good. Not outstanding, but good. And a nice change from the usual greasy pub food in the area.
Don’t waste your time. The service is TERRIBLE. The old woman who greeted us (apparently the owner) was so rude and acted as if it was a inconvenience we were there. The food is severely bland and boring for the price, and how we were treated just left a horrible feeling the whole dinner. Even our waitress was snarky.do not waste your money there. Lots of better restaurants.
My mom and I had a wonderful meal and conversation. Very well prepared and hot. Special thanks to Dan our server he went above and beyond. Happy trails? ️
My family and I visit Jasper quite often but it isn’t often that we go out to eat at any sit down restaurants. Twice I have made the decision to treat my family to L&W and twice I regretted it. Every time we have come here we have received the WORST service. The food isn’t anything to write home about either, overpriced and bland as hell. Such a waste of time and money on people who clearly have no appreciation. Today was the last time for us which is so disappointing because the only reason we came is for the plants. It’s such a shame that a locally owned restaurant has such rotten service.
