Great venue, plenty of underground parking, got a bar and a big auditorium, would be a great venue to see a band. Saw Chris D'Elia do stand-up, it was hilarious and open enough that you could leave to grab a drink and come back. Seating was a bit school-like but it didn't numb the ol' derriere too much.
I have been here several times for different events and concerts. The place is well kept, clean and staff are friendly. Although, can be a bit challenging to find the hall amongst the college corridors for the first time. Overall a good place for concerts and events.
Recently caught the Interrupters and Frank Turner. Had a great night. Just reaffirmed my opinion that this a great venue. The all ages setup is fantastic. It provides a great opportunity to take your kids to see some really great acts. The venue is a perfect size. It is conveniently located at the University of Calgary along the C-Train line.
Beer garden at the back for folks that want a beverage.
For being at a university where they have sound engineers they should utilize them and add some acoustic dampeners and improve the sound from being in a quonset to something much better. Mac Hall and UofC ake advantage of the resources you have at hand.
Nice big hall for Concerts and other events. Was there for the job fair. Parking is at walking distance but is not free. Make sure you have a credit card with you to pay for parking.
This place can be very busy during the day since there are lots of students running all over the place.
