Ian is the best. With family arriving to Canmore for a family reunion on the coldest weekend in Canada, (one as far away as England) my daughters car in Jasper wouldn’t start.
She tried all tow trucks said they couldn’t be there for 8 hours. Being a mom I searched auto repair I. Jasper and MacSpadyen Mechanical popped up. He answered! When I explained the situation he was close by so went to her house. She needed a battery, he got it, put it in. Left it charging and no luck. So he came back with a Herman Nelson (big freaking heater) and some help, told my daughter to go inside while they worked on it. He already had been working non stop since the early hours helping people in Jasper.
It took a couple hours but they did it!
She is on her way.
Ian’s work ethic and what I believe is commitment to helping people is above and beyond the call of duty. If you need assistance call him, he truly is a local hero.

We are traveling in our camper van and were having an electrical problem while in Jasper. Not knowing who else to call, we called Ian. He was nearby and 10 minutes later he pulled up to try to help us. He wasn't equipped to solve this issue but he certainly gave us great, knowledgeable, friendly advice, for no charge. I would gladly go back to him if I needed service.

Campground gave us their number. Was “out of town” yet continued to respond via texts. Followed up for over a hour to help us diagnose the problem. Can’t thank you enough.

Ian helped us out with our electrical issue on our truck camper. He went above and beyond giving us helpful advice via text message and then eventually helping to diagnose the issue and hook up the wiring so that we could get back on the road safely. Super friendly, knowledgeable guy. Definitely recommend.

I text to ask a question about my rv fridge that wasn’t working. They responded quickly and helped me to get working again. Very good service.

Wow! Ian is the guy to call! I had a problem with my diesel truck and I called Ian. He was available immediately and came to me. He solved my issue right then and there. I highly recommend his services.

Amazing and speedy service! Ian responded to my call as our rental trailer had a door lock they was stuck, he kept in contact with me for a couple hours while our renters got back from their adventures in Jasper. We are so pleased! Highly recommend.

The owner get my early call and decide to help at my campground site (Whistler). This is the day that Jasper received over 10 cm in June 2023. He make me feel that I can count on him and he will be reliable to support my véhicule opportunity.

Ian is amazing! We were stranded 50 miles from Jasper with a broken axle on our travel trailer. Ian drove out and helped get the trailer back to Jasper and finally to Hinton AB for repairs. We highly recommend Ian’s services!

I was having big troubles with my minivan while in Jasper, so I called Ian. It was the evening on Canada Day. He chatted with me about initial diagnosis and offered to to give me more advice if I sent him pictures. After he got the pictures, he gave me a reasonable diagnosis and options of where to take it and get it fixed. All done over the phone. Friendly, knowledge and extremely helpful!

Just had to leave another 5 star review for a great outfit - they helped my parents out of a jam with less than 12 hours notice and were pleasant and easy to deal with. Would recommend to anyone needing service in the Jasper area.

This guy saved our life! We got coolant low warning while we are at ice field. We are still 2 hours from the place to buy the coolant and don’t know what to do.
