They have gluten free snacks (and non GF) and they have mystery covered books for sale which is a cute idea. Love the random things in this place. Cozy feel
Mandolin Books & Coffee Company is a cozy gem located in the Highlands neighborhood with good coffee and some sweet treats. It's the perfect spot to relax and read a book or catch up with friends. Supporting this small, local business is a must!
Wife suggested we try here as her and friend went a long time ago and she wanted to introduce me to a Red Symphony. After waiting in line was informed they no longer offer that drink anymore. Might I suggest you update your website since it is still listed as a choice.
I had the London Fog which was lacklusture. Wife had the Frosted Latte and said it was good.
A cafe is a hit when the drinks served are not only yummy but true and authentic to its taste. These guys have all varying drinks in hot n cold both and all are flavoured. Yummy drinks, soft fresh baked goods coupled with books n comfortable seating makes a perfect cosy cafe.

Absolutely adorable bookstore and coffee shop. There are loads of books of various genres to browse, along with delicious coffee and treats to enjoy while you take in the quiet and quirky ambience.
Went here with a friend today to get some studying done and it was lovely! We got here around 10: 45 and were able to get a seat with no problem. We spent about an hour and a half here. I had the strawberry tea, the lemon-mango tea and a cheese biscuit, and everything was delicious! The cream did curdle in my lemon mango tea (but that would be due to the acidity, not the cream itself) and they promptly offered me a brand new tea once I brought it to their attention. The wifi was great and book selection is wonderful! I got one of their 'blind dates with a book' and three others for $23.00. All of the staff were lovely. Definetly recommend if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere!
Mandolin Books offers a relaxing space to enjoy a hot beverage while perusing their selection of used books. The staff were very friendly. My coffee choice is pretty simple (black Americano) and was enjoyable. My friend ordered a chai latte and it was served in this beautiful ceramic bowl-style cup. She said it was delicious. Neither of us sampled any of the small snacks available.
Mandolin has about six tables and one set of cozy chairs nestled into the front window. That spot was perfectly cozy.
What a lovely little coffeshop and bookstore! Came by here to have a catch up coffee date with some friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with not only the coffee and food, but with helping us find a place to have a seat. The place can get quite busy and the seating space is limited, but you definitely can't beat the atmosphere. It was nice to see all the gently used books as well, I would definitely reccomend a visit!
A really lovely place to stop for coffee and peruse the selection of books. The atmosphere here is rarely found elsewhere and thus truly appreciated. Thank you!
Love this quaint, unique place. Bake goods, quiche and lots of warm and cold beverages. Oh ya, they sell gently used books at a great price. Staff was attentive and provided excellent service. A great shop to sit and read while enjoying your beverage inside or out on the patio. Beautiful neighborhood
