Disappointing quote because phone quote said this price is for both residential & business and when I received the invoice, they put extra $200 charge and cant even do anything about it.
Really got disappointed with this transport. Got a quote over a phone call for $620 (approx) and invoiced me with $820 (approx). I reached out customer service, the guy was nice but the admin couldn't do anything about the extra charges because it was a phone call and not written. Super disappointed.
The staff at the shipping office was helpful and friendly. The loaders were helpful as well. Their home delivery is top notch too. They keep you updated!
Easy to find in Acheson. I picked up my parcel. Staff are friendly. Its not like a McDonald's drive through. Took about 30 minutes for the pick up so don't expect to drive up an drive away in 5 minutes.
Very poor delivery service. I wouldn’t recommend. My 3 pallets were booked to arrive this morning between 8am-12noon. It’s passed noon, nothing has arrived and I’m on hold with customer service without any luck. So incredibly frustrating!
My shipment arrived in good shape except for 3 Pallets were destroyed that we could not get our Pallet jack under. Thank God for my neighbor at work to give us a hand using his forklift.
Driver cuts off a dozen people going 100km/hr on 16A this morning and sits there blocking 2 lanes of traffic.at the top of a hill. No regard for anyone's safety. Ignorant.
STAY AWAY FROM MANITOULIN. Everytime I use Manitoulin they take my shipment and call back and ask for more money. The people who give quotes are incapable of giving an accurate estimate and then hold your products hostage to get more money.
IF YOU ARE THINKING OF APPLYING FOR A CAREER WITH THEM, DO NOT! They are the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company ever. They will hire you, give you hope that you will get a job by training you and then let you go. It does not end there! They rehired me after that and then trained me again and let me go. AGAIN. For someone who has been struggling to find work during these challenging times of COVID-19, this was a total waste of time that I could have spent searching for a job with a company that is actually professional and treats its employees with dignity. Not to mention how much trouble it has caused my family.
Again called manitoulin for a pick up at 12 noon, told them we close at 4: 30 pm, noticed at 4pm freight still here, call manitoulin and was told the truck assigned to us is full, we will need to stay till 5pm if we want this picked up! Yet no one called us at manitoulin to say that; had to find out myself.this is an ongoing thing at manitoulin edmonton, they should pay for the overtime for us.last time called 9am and they still were late! Going to convince my clients to change courier
They deliver to wrong place and load is refused, even tho they have contact info and phone numbers they say out of luck till monday morning, do they know what they have cost me this weekend, hopefully i never have to use them again.
Great place to work for hope to be going back working for them soon full training the HR Tyson Gilchrist very good at his job he's very helpful and a very good person I enjoyed working with a good team at fort mac terminal and hope I can have the opportunity to work for this great company when I get my permanent residence papers back
The road to get here is horrible, the process to get your paperwork is horrible, they have signs all over the place that contradict each other and then NO signs telling you where to go or what to do.and then you sit and wait.and wait and wait.
Been in the logistics business for 10 years. I have lately been discouraging our large customers from utilizing this service, and we as a company have stopped using this service, as well as our freight broker a year ago. ALWAYS LATE for pick ups with the same excuses. Every. Time. Drivers have all called in sick apparently, low man power, not enough drivers, the weather is bad, the weather is bad and we don't have enough drivers, we have to pick up tomorrow, no one dispatched it, there was a communications break down between customer service and the dispatcher girls. Etc. Etc. Well all those are points of interest because every OTHER carrier shows up! CFL, FedEx, Bandstra, Roseneau, Overland, Hi-Way 9, Purolator, Loomis, DHL, Truck All, even Day&Ross shows up for crying out loud! Some how, Manitoulin.just can't do it! I've been sitting here waiting on a pick up I ordered at 9: 30 AM, and it's now 3: 50 PM, and we close at 4: 00 PM, and I had to call THEM to see if they were going to pick it up. One skid.all day.waiting on them. That's SIX HOURS of time they could have grabbed it. Where's the customer service? I give the customers courtesy calls if we can't deliver, so they know what to expect, the problem is it seems I only have to do that when it's Manitoulin they want to ship their product with on the customers dime. Where's the phone call to let me know your dispatcher didn't even dispatch the call because your drivers called in sick and the weather is bad and no one told customer service because there was a break down in communication? Really, they used all four in one excuse today! Incredible! No accountability. Competence is only a big word for one company it seems. That starts at the top!
I'm the owner of the Benjamin Moore Fort Saskatchewan, This shipping company has to be the worst one I have ever seen. They are always super late and half of there trucks don't even work. I feel sorry for their drivers that sub contract of this company. I see no leadership and they don't care one bit about customer service and customers deadlines. I have dealt with trucking companies for over 20 years. This has to be the worst one I have ever seen and whoever hires this company should be ashamed of themselves. So many companies out there that has amazing customer service, That the cheapest dollar shouldn't always get the job. You pay for what you get and with them you get piss poor service.
