Shady place to deal with. I brought 52 lbs of prime polished uncoated carbide here and they gave me $3.50/lb I didn't even look at the paper till I got back to the shop and thought that was low, so I called and asked how much they are paying for carbide and the guys says $5.50. Won't be coming back here again, and I've been coming here for years. I'm just a peddler, I guess.
Highly recommend Maple Leaf Metals to anyone who has to get rid of any scrap materials. Dan, Richard & Team are very honest people and will go out of there way to help you. I have been dealing with Maple Leaf for the last 25 years and have always received top notch service. Good job to the Maple Leaf Metal Team!
Business hours are listed as 08: 00-5: 00. Showed up at 08: 00 just to be told to wait 5 minutes as they bring a piece of equipment out of there building. Then another person comes with the exact same story, then another guy.
I waited till 8: 45 before I decided to go somewhere else found, will not go back and would not recommend
This is the best place to take scrap metal. We recycle all of our aluminum and steel with them. Dan and Robyn always help us out and their service is unbeatable. Always happy when i have to see them.
I've been to several different scrap steel places & this is by far the best! Very fair prices, staff is excellent to deal with & very helpful! I brought my son for a ride to deliver some steel & they even gave him a couple hot wheels cars ️
Robin and Dana are great always cheerful and helpful i look forward to seeing them in there shack. Seem down to earth and honest thanks for the service
I’ve just spent the first couple hours of my morning calling around to all the scrap metal places in town and Maple leaf is the best in the fairest pricing. A lot of people I know highly recommend Mapleleaf scrap medals and I can see why now
There are better scrap dealers than this place, the prices they are paying are on the low side. They are only trying to profit as much as possible off you instead of treating clients fairly. How can clean aluminum garner the same price as dirty? The fact that they called me a peddler on my receipt is yet another insult. I dont regularly bring in scrap metal and haven't done so in years. A customer, a client or anything else would be better than peddler. Why don't they just say panhandler, has the same ring to it.
