We go here every Thursday and the ice-cream never dissapoints! Mary is super nice and has a very kind heart. We need more people like Mary in this world.

Requested a 1L of vanilla and snickers. Refused to sell it as a 1L, and instead offered to sell a 1L of vanilla and we could add the snickers ourselves. Other option was to buy two 1/2 litres which was more expensive. Not ideal customer service.

Placed an order with uber eats for ice cream with extra extra extra sprinkles and they absolutely understood the assignment:)

I love this location! Mary makes my visits fun. I normally just order online but ever since i met mary, im more encourage to come here in person. The customer service is amazing!

Staffs here was great, and very accomodating especially at Fridays evening. I always buy my ice cream at this store especially that they have lots of types of flavor and unlimited toppings. Price is a little pricey but when you taste the ice cream, well spend! I can't wait to eat my next one!

I had a great time visiting this place because aside from their delicious ice cream, the staff were very sweet and have genuine smiles. You would definitely enjoy your ice cream if the one served them to you was happy to do so, right? I would definitely come back here again with my friends.

I crave the ice cream here primarily because of the unlimited toppings. The ice cream is good quality, but I wish they had more unique flavours. I would get two scoops of the same flavour since they do mix it with the toppings. I like the location since you can eat on a park bench in summer.

The ice cream is great. But when I went there, there was only one girl working. A kind Filipina. I don't know. The line up was pretty bad, but there really should be more staff helping her out, especially on hot days, she was so busy but she still managed to keep a smile on her face with great customer service. I don't know how much she gets paid, but it shld be more.

Every time i order strawberry short cake staff told me that there is shortage of cake! Really very bad, awful and rude with customers

I came here with my friends a couple of days ago to get an end of the night treat. The ice cream was a little pricey for the portion size but ultimately worth it for how tasty it was. The girls helping us were friendly, efficient and made the experience worth while. My only problem was that I overheard some of the workers talking about how they only receive a 15 minute break when working 5+ hours. As someone who has worked a food service and retail for the last 8 years, I know that this unethical and illegal according to Alberta law. Although we had a splendid experience hearing this really soured the mood for my friends and I. It’s 2022 and mangers are still taking advantage of workers. I will be contacting management.

Not really top quality ice cream and staff were overwhelmed between walk ins and uber/skip orders.

This marble slab location is an absolute nightmare to work for.
Wasn’t even there two months and everything from the manager to the protocols were absolutely appalling.
•Corrosive and toxic cleaning solutions are used in the same containers that toppings are served in. Not only that, but the employees are told to use their bare hands (no cleaning gloves at location) while using the cleaning products.
•The manager is never in store and watched the cameras every second, to the point where we would fake working so it looked like we were busy. You'd be lucky to be able to sit down.
•Although breaks were unpaid, leaving the store for the entirety of your break was not allowed.
•Tax forms and an employee contract was never given by the manager (I had to ask multiple times for an employee contract and was treated horribly for doing so).
•Open food boxes were stored next to mice traps in the back (toppings)
•The manager is very unaccommodating and refused to allow leave for an immediate families wedding.
•I received a call asking why I had been in the bathroom, which is not only a disrespectful question but self explanatory.
•Not to mention the blatant racism I faced when I was told I “look the job”, that was all I was told at the 5 minute interview as the reason I was hired.
I later found out it’s because all of his employees are south Asian.
The list goes on, I will be contacting marble slab head quarters about this issue as the manager is unfit for this job.

How did I go my whole life without being to a place like this, great service and awesome product!

Fantastic service and quality.
Ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday and the owner was delightful to work with in terms of suggestions for the flavours and the design. Upon pick up, other staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely recommend this marble slab to anyone looking.

DEAR OWNER/manager,
You only have 1 person working at your busiest time (8-9 pm) in summer? How is a single person suppose t handle a line full of people? Like we had to wait outside 35 mins in order t jst gt inside the store and then another 22 mins to gt our order heard. HOW CAN YOU SAVE MONEY OVER LABOUR when you are actually losing customers?

Lots of varieties and fresh toppings. Swiss chocolate and Mocha ice-creams are my favourite. Only concern is that staffs are not helpful or else I would rate 4/5 overall.

The icecream sandwiches are terrible, i expected fresh cokkies with icecream not a premade frozen one, the cookies are stay from freezing and it just cuts your mouth up, disappointment for $7

Barely had any flavours and none of the seasonal ones listed on the website. I was also super unimpressed that it was extra for a plain waffle bowl and that this was not posted anywhere. Ended up having to go with a plain waffle cone which was only alright.

I've been going to this marble slab for years because it was convenient and 90% of the time I left the place with terrible "gourmet" ice cream. The staff is sluggish, can be rude, and they barely get mobile orders correct. Go anywhere else.

The ice cream was great.exactly what I was craving.although it was almost $10 per person. Still delicious. Service was not the greatest. The two ladies behind the counter looked absolutely miserable.they weren't friendly, barely spoke and refused to smile. Took us by surprise. If you're that miserable, go work somewhere else!

Over priced ice cream, 2 smalls cost over $12. Will not be a returning customer based on their prices.

Ice cream was good, but probably my the worst service in town. I’ve been here with my girlfriend many times because the location is convenient, and every time the service is horrible. Servers work sluggishly, and pit no effort into making the products. When we ask for mix in (advertised and unlimited), we get stared down like they are doing us a favor and we shouldn’t ask for more. Most times we’ve receive obvious and exaggerated eye rolling. Would be great in an episode of undercover boss.

This is by far the best icecream I have ever had. We dknt have a cold stone where I live but I try and visit when I am traveling!

Serving up generous portions, this ice cream shop is always a sweet treat. They have a dozen or so different flavours of hard serve ice cream and several varieties of old fashioned waffle cones. Also, they have many tasty items that you can choose to mix into the ice cream. For example, you might mix fudge chunks into root beer ice cream. Personally, I found the ice cream way too sweet and the waffle cone a tiny bit stale. I was under whelmed especially considering the $6 price tag for a small cone.

I like ice creams so i often visits this place to enjoy ice creams. ALL flavors are available here. All are fresh and yummy.

The ice cream tasted great. The service left a bad taste in my mouth. The employees should learn to speak up when asking questions. Don’t work in the industry in which you deal with people if you’re going to be a miserable and act like the customer is wasting your time.

Ordered the milkshake because I couldn’t justify spending that much for a couple scoops of ice-cream. It was the runniest milkshake I’ve ever purchased.
Service was lackluster. Also had three friends with me. They were all disappointed as well. We all overpaid for glorified ice-cream. Another one of our group also purchased a milkshake and was shocked at how runny it was.

I mean it's ok but nothing over the top. The location is great too. You can take a walk while enjoying your ice cream!

Poor management.they dont know how to deal with employees.they force me to quit cz they dont have any reason to fire me.manager workin here dont have any work ethics.i worked there for more than 2 years n i enjoyed working there n i worked really hard.i had very good relationship with customers but they just want me to quit for no reason.

Love adding my own mix-ins to my choice of ice cream. Their ice cream sandwiches are delicious too. Slightly overpriced compared to other ice cream shops.

Tried to go to this location 10 minutes before closing and the doors were locked when we got there. We tried to come inside and the staff looked us outside and continued serving other customers.

Very poor customer service. We were not greeted at all and when we ordered clerk just stared at us instead of asking "what can i get you? ". This is very basic customer rules that all staff need to be trained on.

Order accuracy is 0/10, customer service 0/10, wait times are totally unreasonable. Literally never been happy with my order. Avoid if possible.

Not even a single smile during the entire order. The clerk rolled her eyes at me when I said I was also paying for my boyfriend (which makes no sense because that’s less work for her to do). My ice cream was melting before she even mixed my ingredients and when I asked about it she just rolled her eyes and didnt even want to serve my sister. Horrible customer service.

On Tuesday, July 3,2018 - evening shift - Neither did they greet us, nor were they ready to take the order. And when we placed the order, their faces were telling us like they were being forced to work there. They angrily scooped our ice-cream with a frowning face and didn't even have their uniform properly. One of them wasn't wearing a hat. Such bad service makes think if I would ever go back to marble slab with my friends again. I'd rather go to a place where they care about customers and provide good service. DISAPPOINTED!

The staff are very rude and disrespectful, English its not my first language but when i am at work and there is customers you have to be respectful and speak the country language. Couple weeks ago i was there with my wife, and two ladies were fighting in their own language while i am ordering they were very rude to me and my wife, also the other lady when i was trying to pay her she was clearly make fun of my wife in her own language i know I can’t understand the language but you can tell from the look on their eyes and how they were not professional i will never go there anymore i love the icecream there but I don’t like the people they work at this location
