First visit two years ago was for rehab of a wrist operation. The physio was one of a few hand/wrist specialists in Calgary.
Very knowledgeable.
My most recent visit was an injury to my ankle which was diagnosed accurately and referred for ultrasound leading to a referral to a sports medicine clinic.
Very positive experiences.

I have been visiting Marda Loop Physio for several years to address a variety of sport-related injuries. Their team is very professional and welcoming and the office is bright and spacious. There are a range of therapists who specialize in different issues. They encouraged me to try IMS treatment which facilitated rehabilitation for back and neck pain. I also appreciate the helpful exercise plans with accompanying instructions and videos that they send out via email.

I'm on the wait list for a hip replacement but don't meet the typical characteristics of someone in this position. I saw Koren for the first time and she created a smart, comprehensive, personalized plan for me. It includes exercises to keep my joint as strong as possible, strategies to control my pain to minimize use of NSAIDS but also enabling me to stay active, plus she asked important questions to help me advocate for myself in a very dysfunctional health care system. I was dealing with hand and wrist pain and numbness that had progressed and worsened slowly over the course of a few months. Every time I booked I was able to get an appointment within a week, the clinic was always very clean, the front desk staff was always very kind.

I saw Lisa who I felt was both very professional, clearly taking interest in what she does, and personable enough to get to know me, remembered details of previous conversations we had - I only had around 6 sessions with her but I was made to feel my concerns were being taken seriously.

I am happy to say that the pain/numbness has since resolved! I cannot recommend this clinic enough. I hope I don’t have to come back, but if I have further concerns in the future I know where I will go!

I visited Koren and she did needling on my back that I had been having problems with for over a year. Previous visits to other physiotherapists wasn’t working, the exercises and stretches they gave me only made my back more sore since the muscles were getting more strained with more exercise. The needling hurt a slight amount at the time but it really relaxed the sore muscles over the next few days. I liked Koren because she listened to me and tried the needling as I requested, she didn’t just prescribe more stretching. Also she seems like a very kind and knowledgeable person.

For years I have been going to Marda Loop Physiotherapy seeing Paul Hunter knowing that I will receive the best care from him. Paul is very knowledgeable and takes the time to help you understand what is happening and how to manage your therapy needs. The staff are excellent in making you feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Top rate physio from Carmen and a very well run operation. She worked on hand injuries from a cycling crash. Physio was skilled and exercises provided are practical. She has an excellent understanding of the physiology behind injury. Reception and facility also first rate. Good covid protocols in place. Highly recommended

Booked an appointment with Anne-Lise Binotto concerning my wrist. Was able to get in within a reasonable time, the online booking system was extremely easy to navigate. My assessment was thorough. I was able to ramble about my concerns without feeling judged. Anne-Lise not only provided a sympathetic ear, but was able to thoroughly assess and provide a clear path ahead. Both the assessment and prescribed exercises were extremely clear. The exercises were then provided via email which was excellent. The reception was also very kind, and overall facilities seemed very clean. I will be coming back for additional sessions and would confidently recommend their services.

I have seen two different therapists here. They are both exceptional in their knowledge, professionalism and patient care. The place has a very happy, positive vibe. I highly recommend it!

I've been to Marda Loop Physio before for another un related injury and they are the best in Calgary for rehabilitating any injuries especially sports or fitness related sports. The staff members know exactly what they need to and are completely transparent with you. When dealing with a sports injury it's often frustrating as we're pushing ourselves to get back to normal and the staff at Marda Loop understand that -because most of them are or once were athletes as well. However, the staff understand the risks involved and the fact that they're willing to work with you and your comfort level while ensuring your making progress is something that is next level. This place is top notch!

Nicole was on time to meet with me for my appointment and I was well looked after. She was very knowledgeable and thorough. I learned quite a lot from my visit with Nicole and she’s helped me to rehabilitate my sports injury. I will certainly be going back to her for any physio needs I may have in the future.

Have been for back issues and hand issues and always reviewed a thorough exam, explanation of the issue and instructions on at home exercises to do with the option to follow up. Always got better with the exercises.

MLP is an excellent physio clinic that has well qualified and amazing physiotherapists who use many different techniques on patients for various injuries. Over many years of using this clinic, the physiotherapists always have solutions and treatment plans that work. I have had several surgeries and the MLP team has been critical to my full recovery. The support staff is excellent and very friendly and helpful. I very much like the option of booking online or by phone. I have recommended MLP to many friends and have always had very good feedback about their services.

Had an appointment with Carmen (hand physio) and she was amazing! The staff that checked me in were super nice and the office is very welcoming and comfy. I cannot say enough good things about Carmen, she was so nice and knowledgeable and explained the physiology of a hand in language I could understand. Every thing she did she explained and we talked about how to heal and future preventative measures for my specific injury. I walked away feeling so much better and with her guidance my hand is healing great! On top of all that she is super funny and lovely to talk to!

Nicole Hunter helped me to get back on my feet after having BPPV. She took the time to analyze what ear was causing the issue and best treatment for getting the crystals out of the channel. (5 more stars for you Nicole). Thank you so so much!

Saw Carmen Dunn- Hand Physio. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and caring support throughout the entire thing. She just wanted me to get better, and there isn't a pushy sales environment. Actually said I didn't need to come back if I didn't want to. The whole studio is authentic, non-pretentious, chilled and friendly. HIGHLY recommend.

Anna-lise Binotto has been treating me for months now after a knee reconstruction. She has consistently been professional, compassionate and mostly importantly effective. When I first came in I was very delayed in my recovery due to poor treatment at another clinic. She has taken me to the point where I am back on track with my recovery and I couldn't be happier with the level of treatment provided. I highly recommend you see Anna lise, for all of your physio needs, she is the best.

My physiotherapist Anna-Lise Binotto had been assisting me in my recovery from a major arm injury. Her ability and understanding got me on the road to recovery in a matter of a few weeks. While doing this I had conversations with Anna-Lise about my recurring back injury which caused me pain for years. Assisting my Doctor and giving me excellent advise and exercises that worked, I was able to go deep sea fishing and played golf for the first time in 3 years. I can recommend without doubt Anna-Lise for any and all recovery issues you may have. She is caring and empathetic to your needs. The one thing I found that made my physio work is that she explains the process and how the recovery should work better than any therapist I have had before; I have had many. I highly recommend Anna-Lise.

Early in 2019 I entered my first Ironman 70.3 competition. At nearly 60 and with a joint replacement and Osteoarthritis in most joints I new that I would require additional help getting to the finish. Anna-Lise Binotto helped me in the past and was able to provide the treatment and an exercise program that was instrumental in helping me achieve my goal of finishing. I was referred to Paul by a friend after trying other physio clinics, chiro, massage, and acupuncture and was desperate for help with constant neck/ shoulder pain. I felt significantly better after just one visit and after four, I am finally in a place where I don't even think about my neck!
