Pricey stuff, I came to know every Mark's has different variety lol. I went to buy a blue jacket that was in south common store, I was driving near windermere & thought of buying it from there, they had a few similar jackets but entirely different patterns and colors, disappointing. One cannot drive all the way to all the Mark's stores to get things of one's choice. Its frustrating & disappointing.
Today I came to buy winter boots for my husband, Tyson the sales associate did a great customer service. He is very helpful, humble, knowledgeble and very pleasant. He helped us very quick and took time to check the stock to the other location. Thanks so so much TYSON, keep up the great work. Best service I ever got.
The at store delivery receiver she looking like young girl she show attitude and rude talking with delivery drivers this is 2nd time happen with me and i was feel my insult.very bad behave receiver
Absolutely garbage quality for the price. Paid $200 for a pair of pants that lasted 1 month. Im a warehouse guy, i dont get roughed up at all.i asked if i could swap them for a new pair and they refused and said they can't put that through their system. I guess I'll be doing my shopping elsewhere for now on.
I am a long time regular customer of Marks but I absolutely hate shopping at the Edmonton South Common Store. They are almost always sold out of my size in clothing and shoes and I swear the sales staff are all hiding in the back and never to be seen. They are not friendly or helpful at all. If you ask where something is located they are completely clueless. Also, the cashiers are incredibly slow. It takes forever to check out especially on weekends. This has been consistent for the last five years. Last time i was here i just left the things i was going to buy and went to Costco instead.
I went in to get a winter jacket that was on sale. The sign said $159 and 50% off. There was a whole lot of the same jackets so it's not like one was replaced. I went up to pay and the cashier said $120 total. I asked about the 50% off and she said that's not what her computer says. So I left because it was over my budget
Pretty good experience everytime I go there. It's just sometimes it's bit hard to get someone who can help you out but if they have too many customers then it happens.
The place was clean and not too crowded. The associates were helpful too. The cashier clicked a form on my behalf which wasn't cool. But the rest was ok
Went to store to pick up item that was listed in stock at that location. It wasn't. Was online inventory isn't always accurate. Was then told clerk was not allowed to call another location to check availability. Who trains staff to reduce the level of customer service?
Clean, covid compliant and the cashier was super nice. Mark's has great apparel but I cant afford to shop it more than once a year. Way too pricey for my pocket book. Men's wear was picked over for size runs which was very disappointing, and dining a sales associate on the floor is like playing hide and seek.
Really rude manager we got safety shoe that were not comfortable and also have size issues with one pair as well as the steal plate were hurting the foot but manager refused to return it back because that were worn one day.we went to the other marks store and they returned it with no issues.never ever going back to the south common marks store.
Store is great with good deals but the customer service should be improved. Some of the vendors should smile a little, even if they have a mask you can notice a smile
Came here to buy some steel toed shoes, after 30 minutes of sizing out a pair and having to settle for what stock they had left, I purchased a pair that were okay, but not the ones I wanted; a little disappointed.
Great prices everything always seems to be on sale. Great place for all your cold weather gear for spending lots of time outside in these cold winters.
Didn't find what imwas looking for in this store at this time of the year I expected to see Morris sales but not a whole lot. I guess depending on what you are looking for it still a great store for your work stuff.
Oonagh was very good to me when I bought some pants today. She provided excellent customer service to me. I have a disability and trying on pants is very difficult for me. She brought me the pants, was patient with me and very helpful. I have been disabled for a very long time and she made shopping at marks very pleasurable as she made it easier on me to buy something that I needed. It is very rare these days that retailers go out of their way to help they're disabled or elderly customers. Full marks to Oonagh! She deserves a raise. The way she served me should be a model for how all the staff serve their customers as she went above and beyond to make shopping at Mark's. Thank you Oonagh for helping me out when I bought some pants. All my best.
My work boots were defective. The young manager fellow helped me out and went above and beyond and I really appreciated it. I'll definitely be going back to shop. Thumbs up!
It really depends on what your looking for. They fo have Great sales and a pretty decent selection for women's. But I am disappointed that they do not carry many female cargo pants, construction pants definatly don't have a variety of sizes and the sizes they do have, fit really small.
Prices have stayed the same but quality has taken a bit of a drop. I looked at some jeans, hoodies and sweaters and they all had designer label prices but looked like discount retailer quality. I couldn't justify buying anything except for the clearance items, where price and quality at least seemed acceptable.
I was in line and was next to get in before closing when I was rudely told to leave after being told as long as a person left before 6 I could buy the 1 pair of pants I needed. The staff said "everyone is buying 1 pair" sarcastically when people in line were buying 10 items. Don't like it being implied I'm a liar. I love marks but go to a different one.
Walked in with my boyfriend who was looking for work pants. No greeting, no offer of help, nothing, not a word from any staff. Went to the shoe department and same. Staff just walked past without a word or even a smile. The price was wrong at the till and they were super rude and short about it. We ended up buying something because we absolutely needed it but if we hadn't, we wouldn't have spent a penny there. ️ Awful service.
Absolutely beautiful, clean and stocked store. However the customer service is absolutely aweful. I've been a Marks customer for years but the last few visits have made sure I shop elsewhere going forward.
Top quality products with very reasonable prices. I have been coming to this Mark's location for last 7 years. Store is very neat and clean. All the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Stuff is very good and durable. Survey coupon is also a big impulse to come this store to buy clothes and shoes.
I rate this lower because they seem to mostly stock clothes for larger people. Jeans that only come 32 waist and up, XL XXL and 4xl are abundant. SML MM and large are in short supply.
I recommend Mark's, South Edmonton Common, Alberta - Canada since their opening a regular customer with my family and relatives. Fantastic service Impressive
Great clothing for work, warm jackets and tough clothing as well. They also have some pretty nice looking jeans for going out. Definitely would recommend, great store in general.
I was shopping in the store on Thursday evening. There were no staff to lend assistance. I found a pair of pants and went to the cash. I had signed up for community news in the afternoon but never received an email for $10 off. The cashier told me he needed code and not to worry as this weekend they were having a 30%off sale and i could bring my receipt in. I returned to the store on Sunday to be informed the sale was over on Saturday. The cashier said all she could do was $10. (Which is not close to 30% of item cost.) atrocious customer service. I will not recommend this store to anyone. They do not honour what their associates tell customers. Clearly a dishonest company and culture.
