Very poor selection of women's work gloves and boots. Nothing smaller than a men's medium for anti-vibration or chainsaw gloves. Few options for women's steel-toes, no small options. Staff is excellent though, this is a problem with the chain not this particular location.
I didn't look around much this time because I knew exactly what I wanted. Products are normally great and so are the staff! It can be a little pricey sometimes, but I haven't been disappointed by the quality!
Probably the worst Mark's I've been to in a while. The staff is consistently dismissive and a bit rude.forgot things in my orders more than once. I still go there because its next to the home depot i go to but the capilano location is much better staffed. Fine if you don't need help or smiles at the till. Sorry folks but just being honest.
Customer service has gotten worse and worse… if they don’t fix your issue go to different branch or army navy is cheaper and good quality for construction workwear
Didn't find what I was looking for and the young staff of girls sat by the front door and chatted. Would have been nice if they had asked if I needed help. ️
This store and actually a lot of Mark's do not cater to trades people. If your a nurse or a dental Hygentest its for you. If your man size or larger it is absolutely NOT for you. A lot of time the Carhartt work clothes only go up to XL thats it. Not recommended for the working man!
Always has what you need. I must say Mark's has done a great job on comfort wear. Just wish boots would last longer than a year. Can't say it's Mark's just the brands. If I'm buying 300$ boots I expect more than a year out of them.
Nice store. Friendly and very helpful staff. Had plenty of stock. The return policy is excellent in making sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase (s)
Good luck finding a particular size you're looking for has every Shelf is completely unorganized and you'll have to look at every item find what you're looking for if they have it at all, make sure the security tags are taken off of your purchases as I've had to drive back across town to have them remove a tag which was left on. During that first visit of the day, I was in the store for approximately 45 minutes and the only time there was a staff member available to speak to was when I was at the cash ready to leave. There are far better locally owned Workwear stores in the city don't waste your time here
Customer service was fabulous! Their size range was really minimal. Not sure if they sold through everything I was looking for or if they just didn't have things.
Was in the store shopping while it was completely dead on a Saturday. I just had a baby so I am needing new summer clothes and tried some things on in fitting room.went out to grab a few more items and was told you can't use the change room again. So I left with nothing. Very stupid policy when the store is completely dead.
Staff is currently not following COVID protocols. Staff do not wear masks and have concept of social distancing when helping you try to find something.
One of the better locations, I returned a broken zipper hoodie here, no issues, will buy another one as long as the zipper doesn’t break again. Not the stores fault but I wish everyone would use brass zippers instead of plastic, the plastic ones won’t last if you see the jacket every other day for more than a year or so.
Today my loving spouse and I decided to have a look at their special clearance and we were not disappointed. Great and friendly staff, excellent service, superb pricing - we didn't spent much, but got a few needed items at an additional %30 discount! Who can beat that? Nobody. Thank You Mark's LCA
Had a very unpleasant experience here. Ive been exclusively going to this Marks for around a decade and buying all of my work wear at this location. I'm not normally picky about customer service but I left the store feeling angry and embarrassed.
I walked in and there were 4 staff members standing at the entrance very close together engrossed in their conversation. I'm normally greeted with a "hello" but the staff just kind of stared me down without saying anything. I then walked in a bit further and looked back to see the staff smirking and giving each other side eyes like I had done something wrong.
After I found some pants I wanted to try on, I went to the group of staff that was standing at the entrance still chatting. I asked if I could get a change room and a tall staff member simply looked at me and responded with a blunt "Nope". I laughed a little because I thought she was kidding but she just kept blank starring at me so I asked "seriously? " to which she responded "Yes". I asked why and she told me that it was because of a new Covid policy, which makes sense, but I didn't see anything posted or any signs explaining this and her tone made it seem like she thought I was an idiot who should have known this.
I'm very unhappy with how I was treated and will be taking my business elsewhere.
Marks sells great products and usually always has great sales. The customer service at this location is superb. Just love it here and would highly recommend.
I honestly get 90% of my clothing from Mark's. Wind River is a good brand and they carry HH, Levi's, Columbia and Buffalo jeans. I'm not a huge fan of Denver Hayes clothes but they're so cheap I can't help but buy them when on sale, which is often.
I was there to browse around and they had an expired ad up and the cashier refused to give me the ad price on an item because it was expired even though it was still up. She wasnt super friendly or even just apologized for the mistake so it felt a bit off putting. I usually go to the kingsway one though and have never had anything but great service there, so it must have been just a one off!
No longer a place for work cloths or work related wear. Just another clothing store with the false vernier for the uninformed. Go to Jobsite Workwear for real work clothing or Redwings for good work boots.
They generally have good lines, and their pricing is reasonable. I do NOT recommend Dakota boots, they tend to be annual purchases rather than biannual or longer, they simply don't hold up. Details of construction, both sewing and also materials used, are not intelligently considered. Replacing boots every single year should not be necessary, especially if they are only worn seasonally. Pricing of Dakota's seems to be Mark's priority, but if they don't last? Not to finish on a critical note, the inventory at Mark's is very impressive. They have virtually everything related to work clothing.
Marks has been my choice in work wear for years, as Heavy Duty Mechanic I need quality work wear and Marks has it all. They work hard at making sure you are satisfied with your purchase, GREAT return and exchange policies makes a guy feel content about spending his hard earned money.
This is a great store great customer service finally somebody around Edmonton area has decided to carry bigger clothes for bigger guys I'm not a huge guy but I am bigger I usually wear 3X but I love my clothes in for 5 but I've always wear baggy clothes and they seem to carry a fair-sized amount of clothing for it but not a huge selection I think they could help that a little bit more prices are really you know decent but also high at the same time if you're a bigger guy you're spending almost twice as much as everybody else which is you know not fair in my eyes but hey can put those donuts down just kidding have a great shop experience here
Walked in to store, female behind counter didn't look up, offered me no greeting. Was looking for a specific pair of pants - I searched all over the women's area, female CSR walked near me, looked at me, said nothing, and she continued walking away. Later, had a pair of pants in my hand, guy doing inventory (in shoes) didn't acknowledge me until I asked for a change room. Pants fit great but decided against them based on the complete lack of any service. Walked out, bypassing both employees, still no acknowledgement of my existence. Writing this in the parking lot and witnessed three men leave empty-handed. Will possibly order on line, probably not.
Manager there, goes by Robert I believe, has got to be the worst manager at Mark's I've come across. Terrible customer service. Made me feel like I was nothing in a place where I should have felt valued. Not impressed and highly don't recommend shopping here
Bought boots at this Mark's about 4 months ago. Turns out they're absolute trash. Had me fooled looking and feeling like leather and ended up being fake. I used to shop at Mark's all the time, but after several of these episodes, I think I am finally ready to quit Mark's for good. There's only so much of the greedy profiteering at consumer's expense (by selling trash to consumers) I am going to put up with.
