A hidden gem of a fabric store. Trim selection is a bit lacking. Newly expanded quilting fabrics section.

This is my favorite fabric store in Edmonton, there's an incredible selection, the prices are far more reasonable than some other stores, and the staff is very friendly.

So excited to see the expanded premises. Staff are fantastic. Definitely my favorite place to shop for my sewing and craft needs

This place has a really good selection of fabrics for all types of projects. It can be a bit difficult to navigate but you can find some nice gems and great deals.

Extremely unimpressed by the inability to cut fabric properly. I asked for 3 meters of a 23$ a meter and was shorted 20 inches! That’s half a meter… completely unimpressed.

I came here solely for materials to make a ribbon skirt & get some things for ceremonial purposes. The selection is phenomenal & the customer service is friendly & quick. Also everything i bought was reasonably priced it most certainly doesn't break the bank. Love love loooove

I wish I could have given them 5 stars because the gals that work there are nice, however I made a note that the fabric has some noticeable crease marks, the lady cutting the fabric asked her manager about it after agreeing about the marks, her manager said steam will get it out. Well my seamstress tried steaming it and said there is no way to get it out and they are Permanent.
Its really too bad because people usually remember these things. I won’t be going back sadly for other projects

The girl that helped me today was super friendly. It was my first time there and she was really patient. I don't sew but needed to pick up some items for a work project so can't comment on selection. Five stars for the awesome customer service though!

Went to Marshall's to confirm that they are now carrying DMC embroidery floss which they do including the new releases. Another source for my cross stitch habit.

Huge selection of fabrics. It’s nice when working on unique projects, I know I’ll be able to find what I need. I picked up leather, heavy duty thread and a curved needle to repair a whole in my couch. At the same time, I picked up cotton, elastic, buttons, and strapping to create a carrying case for my other hobbies. I love that there is bins of odd bits of fabric as I like to make weird blankets out of random unplanned fabrics. Lots of licensed fabrics. The staff is helpful and kind. I recommend checking it out. There is some yarn and a good selection of notions!

So much fabric! Prices are average but the selection is great. Definitely not a quilting fabric store (not a huge selection of quilting cotton). Loved it will be back.

Love Marshall fabrics! Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. It could improve the variety of notions. I hate having to go the fabricland for the things I can't quite get.

Love this place. Always has what I’m looking for. A bit off the beaten path if you don’t live South but worth the drive.

Been shopping here since it opened. It’s not like how it was back then. They’ve grown to becoming a find all fabric store.

Fabric prices are unbeatable and often the same prints as other chain fabric stores for less!
They have a HUGE selection of anything fabric you're looking for. The best selection of fabrics in the city in one place.
The staff are helpful and friendly if approached. They provided masks at the door the last time I went, which came in handy as I forgot mine.
Besides the fact that it's located in a strange place and can be hard to get to, the parking lot is massive and never a concern.

Best priced fabric in the province! Found exactly what I needed for half the price of fabricland. All the threads, buttons and bows you could ever need! I love Marshall fabrics

Marshall Fabric is hands down the best fabric store in Edmonton. The have a wonderful selection of otherwise hard-to-get knit fabrics, tons of licensed prints, and quilting fabric that goes on for miles. Polar fleece options up the wazoo. Every sewing notion you could ever want. Their clearance rack is also worth a browse!

A local gem. Better than Fabricland, for sure! Highly recommend.

My favourite local fabric store. Lots of selection and decent prices. There is one older worker who can be a bit grumpy but the rest of the staff is amazing. I have been coming here since 2010 and they always have what I need!

Marshall's is an awesome place to shop for foam, upholstery and exterior fabrics. I d9nt shop there quilting section only because I have my favorite quilting store already and I also think their quilting fabric is over priced. Not as much as fabricland but still is for the quality. Zipper are another thing they are currentlynsellibg the big sports zippers for $3 which is an awesome price. Definitely worth a shop if you make your own clothing.

A HUGE selection of fabrics, ribbons, thread, and other sewing things. The staff are very helpful if I have questions.

This was my first visit and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They made my experience easy and quick. Couldn't ask for more.

The issue I have encountered every time I have gone here is that the clerks are not attentive to the pricing. The final totals are consistently miscalculated and I end up paying more than I have to. The kicker is that they manually input prices via a machine and there is no automated system to verify. As this is a recurrent issue I have come here to share my feedback with others and to advise them to be careful.

Good prices here and you can find almost all types of fabrics. Even for car seat upholstery, they have lots of choices.
Staff are all friendly too.
Definitely a good store to go back too if you need fabrics and sewing items.

It was exhausting. Long lines, 2 people tried to butt in, one succeed, no one did anything about it, high prices, one till. Not fun at all.

I enjoy coming here since they have REALLY good prices than other fabric stores in the city; however, I wish there were more Marshall Fabric stores as driving from one side of the city to the other becomes inefficient—even for these wonderful prices.

My hands down favourite fabric store in the city! The selection is incredible, the staff are fun and helpful, and they have good deals throughout the year. If you are a maker, do yourself the favor of making your next fabric store visit at Marshalls, you will be happy you did.

Great staff and prices. Come early to avoid the line ups. Way better than Fabricland. Management however needs to learn how to treat customers
You can't wear that mask, you have to use a cart "even for a single item? " Like going to Safeway, for a jug of milk. You have to use a cart! The staff management stinks.

I ordered some knit fabric from Marshalls. Shanna took pictures of the fabric they had and sent it to me. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering on line but Shanna went above and beyond to make sure I had the right fabric. I was very pleased with the quality of the fabric and service they provided and will order from them again Thank you so much

Best place in the city to get fabric by far cheaper than the other stores and very helpful staff especially to a novice like myself

Great selection and a very good store. The covid floor mapping is a little bit counter intuitive, but you can still manage your way through getting what you need. I would love it if this place started carrying findings as well, but 5 stars on fabric for sure. Although some camo broadcloth would be a neat thing

I’ve been here twice in the last month. The fabric selection is amazing, nice colours and cool patterns. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They are pretty strict about covid protocols, including someone to greet you at the door and make sure you sanitize your hands. I really appreciate that and I will keep coming back.

Usually I find what I am looking for here way easier than I do at fabricland. Selection is not always so subjected to season, which means I can get wools and halloween prints in the middle of summer!

Great store and staff. Very friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of fabrics for all your sewing needs. They are also taking lots of covid precautions which is great! Excellent discount bin as well.

I’ve been going here at least once a week for years. It’s my go to for my sewing biz. I can’t say enough good things. The staff is always helpful and they actually know something about the fabrics they sell. They’ve handled social distance thing like pros. Prices are well thought out according to the quality of fabric & that’s really worth something.

Friendly staff lots of selection. However place feels like you should see what fabric they have and pick a project around it instead.

Great selection of fabrics, notions and other supplies. There is so much fabric to choose from; upholstery, cottons, synthetics, silk (sometimes) and more. Really a one stop shop as they have everything you need for a good price.

I would love to see bicycle parking here! If you provide it, people will use it!

Astounding offerings @ decent price points, many of them excellent! Fewer notions than fabrics, though. Terrific upholstery offerings. Super knowledgeable staff-kind & non judgmental, too! They even have elastic for COVID masks, back in supply, woo hoo! Easy parking w/wheelchair access, and wider aisles inside than most. I was impressed with their current COVID enforcement. Staff security person inside, cautiously limiting#s of patronage at all times, enforcing masks & hand san usage, clean carts, etc. There might be a wait in line outside, but it's for your own benefit, and everyone else's, too! Cooperation makes the world go 'round, people!

Amidst the pandemic, the staff here were all masked and prepped to help with everything. A brief wait at the door the be handed hand sanitizer and a sanitized cart. Thank you Marshall's staff!

Wonderful atmosphere, I am also continuously impressed with one specific lady who only seems to work on Saturdays, her name is Kay ann, I think. Well let me tell you she is absolutely fabulous, she really knows her stuff and she is so pleasant, in fact I am working up the courage to ask her out though she is waaaaay out of my league. Well wish me luck and if you are looking for fabrics you can't go wrong with Marshall's.

More flannel then any where else and in wider widths as well. Plus lots of cotton, fleece, drapery, dance stuff, and cotton spandex plus more! When in doubt phone. Staff are mostly great. Way nicer then Fabricland! I make the 2 he drive at least a couple times a month it's worth it! 3 yrs later I still stand by my comments go u won’t regret it!
