Over priced I took my spyder for service The advertised price for the service was posted. But when I went to pick it up they added the additional for oil. Total bill almost $500. Then when I got home I got a message from the bike saying it had brake failure. Checked the fluid and it was low. That’s what I was supposed to be paying for with the service package. I asked them how much to change the rear tire. I supply the tire. $300 to take it off and send it to a different shop to change then what ever they charge, it was to be over $350 all in. I took it to a real bike shop and it was a $137 all in, Use them if you want but I’ll never be back.

Had trouble with some stihl backpack blowers that gave out on me after only being used for roughly a month. Christopher and David went to bat with the stihl manufacturer to make sure this was included in the warranty they were trying to avoid. Seriously considered switching brands completely if they didn’t honour the warranty. They got it done though! Appreciate them making those tough conversations happen!

After 7 hard years of usage our backpack blower would no longer idle. I took it in and received very prompt service. Greg checked it over. Made some changes. Then discuss with me what may be contributing to our issues. I found his thoughts reasonable and easy to understand. This just verifies my thoughts on everyone there. I have always found the the staff very friendly and willing to help. At the front desk, parts department, sales and now the service department too!

My experience with Allan was excellent. I was referred to him by a friend who bought a tractor from him and spoke very highly of the customer service he got. Sure enough my experience was the same. Allan was extremely accommodating to my schedule, very thorough and great to deal with. He stayed late tonight after close to meet me at the store for 6: 30 and do a full orientation on my tractor. Even had a toy tractor picked out for my 3 year old that came along with me. The customer service was excellent and I would highly recommend Allan to anyone in the market for a tractor or mower. 5 stars!

The service department was terrible i was told a couple times when my lawn tractor would be ready and wasn't.it did run for me but was getting too much fuel so i took it in to them. When returned to me my motor now seized but did run before i took it in and then they tried to blame me for putting carb back together wrong but it went back exactly the way i took it apart also noticed that there is now a few scratches on it that werent there when it was brought in for service now i have to either rebuild my motor or replace this is on them that i now have a non running motor this shouldnt be the case for a motor with 93.8 hours on it. Absolutely will not recommend this location

I recently purchased a Stihl grass trimmer online, and had some maintenance issue.
I took it into Martin Deerline to get some assistance and I was immediately greeted and information gathered.
Shortly a technician from the shop named Greg assisted me, cleaned out my trimmer completely, recommended me with useful products and procedures for my machine and in the end my grass trimmer performs like new.
They are highly recommended as customer service and staff knowledge was superb!

$40,000 tractor, I have $1000.00 remaining as balance. Not one default payment, not one late payment, not one moment have I ever stiffed this company. It is 'covid era' times, gas is $2.00 a litre now, and people are struggling to put food on the table let alone bills and your staff have the audacity to laugh at me, scream at me and urge me to commit crime for payment over the phone when I have to make payment arrangements for the remaining $1000.00. If I wasn't planning on paying it off do you really think I would have paid this much off?

John Deer maybe a good product but there are a lot of other farm equipment dealers out there with way better customer service, who don't urge their customers to break the law.

DO NOT BUY FROM MARTIN DEER LINE!

I was having issues sourcing a carb kit for my older model Scandik. It was my good fortune to helped by Carol Sprague. Getting parts for these older machines is getting more and more difficult and she took the time and effort to check all the catalogues at her disposal. Although her suppliers had nothing in stock, she gave me the part numbers I needed to do my own web search. It wasn't just the service that prompted me to write this review. I just found her to be so pleasant and genuinely concerned about my situation to go the extra mile to search out all the resources she at her disposal. I know that the parts department was extremely busy the day that I phoned and that it would have been much easier for her to limit her search to the parts inventory on her computer. As a person that does the majority of my own maintenance work, I have experienced the brush off at many parts suppliers when they don't have the patience to deal with your problem. We all have at some point in time. This was such a pleasant experience, I felt compelled to publicly complement Carol and express my deep appreciation for the way she dealt with my situation. Carol, you are definitely a huge asset to Martin Equipment and their customers.

Needed an oil filter and fuel filter for my Progator. Chan was super helpful. Parts were in stock and reasonably priced. He even gave me an exploded view parts page. In and out quickly. Thank you very much.

First time John Deer owner (lawn tractor). Debated purchasing one between hardware store and John Deer directly. I’m so glad I chose this route as their customer service has been 5 stars.

Took the time over the phone (COVID-19) to talk me through the options, and what I needed and didn’t need. On the day it arrived I was given a full ‘tour’ of the machine by the gentleman who delivered it, and then a call later that evening to make sure all was well and if I had any additional questions.

Then I had an issue with the machine not working properly so I called back. Within the day they had someone out to make the quick repair (wouldn’t get that from the hardware store!).

Then they called after the repair was done to make sure I was good.

Then they called again 2 weeks later to make sure that I was still good! (That was yesterday)

I’d highly recommend Martin Deerline Edmonton South (& Terry!) to anyone:)

Had been looking for a lawnmower for a while now, but was met with countless time wasters.

I was directed to the manager, Terry, by another dealership. Within five minutes I had the lawnmower I was looking for and we were working on getting everything filled out.

Terry let me know that he couldn't deliver the mower today, but alas he took time from his own day to deliver this for myself and my family. He did not ask for any compensation for doing us this favour.

We got a good deal including a cover, and any companies manager that is willing to go above and beyond for customers is a business I like to continually deal with.

I would highly recommend contacting Terry for all and any John Deere products! A wonderful gentleman who was a pleasure to deal with.

The Service department (Michelle and Greg) help me out with the Stihl backpack blower and gave me tips about maintaining all our other equipments which we bought from them. These guys were amazing! Thank you!
