We went at 630PM on a Saturday and they said they did not have any chicken and would have to wait for 25min for more to be cooked. The guy working didn’t even seem to care. Girl working the back was just sitting on a chair.
Our family consisting of 17 people went to this branch and the staff were very friendly. They welcomed us with a big smile until we’re done eating. Thankful for this branch and all the staffs working. Will be back there for sure!
They wrapped my chicken wrap in orange wrap like a burger folded over 3 times. It was literlly the size of a burger squished small. The sandwich didnt have the brioche bun or tomatos i paid for. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil. The only thing that showed up right were the crispy chicken twists.
Showed up for the free grilled sandwich promotion. One other customer ahead of me, when they opened the door. They refused to honor the email promotion, giving excuses such as "system wasn't updated" "no scannable barcode, no sandwich". They brushed off the actual email promotion as not being acceptable proof.the manager basically argued how they can't give out free sandwiches to everybody to the poor gal in front of me and he wouldn't budge on his position. Instead of actually saying sorry, pulling out a notepad and keeping track of just 25 orders as per promotion and bringing up this issue with the promotional department for reimbursement on the back end. Customer service comes last here.
Went to Oliver area location. 104 ave 112st. 3 Mary burgers was 25$ I was appalled at the cost and my bun was soggy wet on top from pickle juice. I could buy a bucket of kfc for those prices!
The slowest service of any MB location I’ve been to. The number of times I’ve been told that a 4 piece order of chicken would be a 20 minute wait is more than I can count, and it can take upwards of 3 minutes to even be acknowledged while waiting at the counter
It is an issue with this specific location, not MB in general
Pretty irritated with this place. We walked in to order a 10 piece combo that they had for the winter. They said it would be a half hour for chicken. I thought that was weird so we went home and immediately tried ordering on skip. They didn’t have the same deal but we just ordered a 10 piece bucket, and the order is here in less than 10 minutes. Unreal. Bunch of liars there be ware
This location is a hit-and-miss. My last order was amazing and that’s what made me come back. I ordered a few big Marys today and requested extra mayo and they all turned out to be extra less sauce, and the lettuce is stale. Who would like some no flavour chicken burger?
This place has gone majorly down hill. Not sure if the ownership or management has changed but it’s awful compared to a few months ago. I always pre order and it’s never ready on time, there are always lines to the door, and only two people working (one in front, one in kitchen - even on Mondays, where it’s the Big Mary Monday deal, meaning extra busy). The staff are unable to follow instructions and put the correct dipping sauce in my bag. One time the honey mustard was out of stock and instead of informing me, they just threw in a spicy mayo instead lol. The guy working was busy on his phone in the dining area and seemed annoyed with having to help me with my order, which wasn’t ready until I came in (because I saw him having to go to the back to make it once I arrived). It honestly used to be much better and it’s seriously gone down hill
Great little fast food to dine in! The staff are so friendly and sweet. They bring you your food, and keep the restaurant super tidy! On top of making delicious food.
Don't come here if you're expecting good quality Mary Browns chicken. This is by far the worst location I've ever visited. Chicken was dry and inedible, the spicy chicken is just plain chicken with terrible Spicey powder sprinkled on it. I went back and got a refund but still a nusicence to have to deal with.
I entered with my roommate who placed his order after which I stood in front of the till for 10 min without any acknowledgment by the staff. My roommate received his order before the incompetent staff even attempted to take another order. Terrible customer service! Don't eat here.
Went to Mary Brown’s Oliver Square yesterday to buy their famous chicken, but when i check the chicken im really disappointed coz you know the size of the chicken its not worth it for the money that i spent for
Since 5 years i go this store but this time i am very disappointed I ordered 9 pieces and medium fries unfortunately all chicken pieces are small they cut breast piece in to two even drum stick thigh pieces all are small pieces and the fries even i ordered for medium they charged medium when i check at home it was small they cheated me it looks the management has been changed i am very disappointed i will not go again
Still glad to know they serve halal in this branch. Also if anyone is wondering this branch does serve halal n have a halal certificate which they showed me before I ordered
I went into this branch assuming this branch like all other Mary Browns would be halal. I randomly asked the guy over counter if the food is halal and to my surprise he said NO! So people who wana have halal food should avoid this place. I didn't ask to see a certificate. Either he didn't understand or it's actually not halal. So always ask before gettin stuff from any branch.
The chicken may be ok to take home but the eat in experience leaves a lot to be desired.the container size may reduce paper waste but do not create a good eating experience.food is jammed together in a small box.not visually appealing
Never busy, and always out of chicken. But on the upside, because of that, everything you order is practically made fresh. But then you just have to wait 15 minutes.so.it balances out?
I went here Saturday after work, about 5pm. I placed my order and while I was paying the front end person looked back at the cook and told me it would take 15 minutes. I said fine. 25 minutes later I was told it would be ready in a matter of seconds, 3 or 4 minutes later it was ready. Don't get me wrong, the food is always warm and good but if you're going to estimate the time, be realistic, don't make it shorter than it will be. If he told me from the beginning it would be close to 30 minutes, I could live with that or leave, customers choice. I was upset because of the extra 13 - 14 minutes waiting. There was an older gentleman behind the counter, I assume an owner? He saw that I was getting anxious but never said anything to make light of the situation. I know it was busy, but even two different Skip the Dishes drivers had to wait, one of them for at least 10 minutes. You would think with the down turn in the economy, a business would cater more to the customer to get that precious dollar out of their pocket.
4 stars for speed; way too long a wait for a single sandwich when I was the only customer there but otherwise quality and customer service were top notch
Gave reheated chicken and he agreed that we can keep the chicken for certain time period but customer isnt paying for reheated chicken they r paying full amount for fresh food
Wonderful service wonderful people wonderful food. Had a great experience here I would recommend it to anyone make sure you say hi to the owner he's a very nice guy
Again would like to see them make a conscious effort to hire more Canadian's rather than Philapino imports. And it's painfully obvious. And l defiantly am a visible minority myself.
Every time I get food here I'm amazed at how fast it's ready, but still fresh. The chicken is never dry, and it's not grey and greasy like KFC. The taters are nicely seasoned and the perfect mix of crunchy outside and soft inside. The staff here is exceptionally friendly. Only downside I can see is, no potato salad option.
Last time I was there they had run out of hand soap in the bathroom. It was very unsanitary and that’s a restaurant where people eat with their hands. The food is okay but if you care about your health maybe think twice before eating at this place.
