Booked on-line after thoroughly researching and selecting the RMT based on experience and reviews. Showed up 15 minutes early as it was my first time. They didn't have me in the schedule. Said there is a glitch with the on-line bookings. If the on-line bookings don't work why are you still using them? Receptionist confirmed that they received my email with the required forms that morning but couldn't answer why they didn't respond at that point. If you receive an email, that is a direct reply to a booking confirmation email for that day, and you don't have that appointment, then shouldn't you contact the person? I will take my business elsewhere. The location would have been convenient, but the unconcerned response and general attitude of "oh well, you can come another day" combined with blaming a known (to them) problem suggest a complete lack of customer service.

I have hunted for a fantastic massage therapist in Calgary for the past year since I’ve lived here and I finally found Evelyn. Holy smokes she’s fantastic I went in with the worst sciatic pain and she took the time to show me stretches and ways to help fix it on a day to day and really gave me the best massage I’ve received! Thank you so much Evelyn I will be back!

After my first massage with my therapist Beatrix, I immediately registered for a membership with Massage Addict, and I had booked her a session every 2 weeks for a whole year. Beatrix is absolutely amazing, and I've travelled the world and seen many massage therapists in the past. I've never met anyone so passionate about their job, and Beatrix is hands down the ultimate best. I highly recommend her for anyone with ongoing back and shoulder pain! I've referred my partner and other friends too! Congrats Massage Addict for finding this gem for your clinic! 5 stars.

Went by reviews and booked for April 17th and it was great. Now I have been having massages a long time from Thailand to India and Evelyn sorta set the bar for me here.
So I booked another one today and what a disaster! Stopped it midway.room was too cold, masseuse was unprepared, no hot towels, massage technique made me more sore, used less oil which caused a friction. Didn’t massage feet or hands which was super odd.so don’t book with Nima unless of course ure idea of a massage is all of the above! Staff at reception are always great tho.but that’s not the reason I was there in the first place!

Janice is a gem at the location! She is very experienced and versatile with techniques be it deep tissue massage, hot stone, cupping therapy or use of calm and relaxing aroma essences. Highly recommend a visit here if concerns are related to lower back pain or neck and shoulder stiffness.
The admin staff offers friendly and prompt assistance. Hygiene and cleanliness is 10/10.

Evelyn is great. She knows what she’s doing and doesn’t pressure you to do cupping or hot stone massage (thats more expensive) unless you ask for that. She is very patient and knows just the right amount of pressure to use on me. I tried about 3 other massage therapists in this same facility before deciding to stick with Evelyn and I haven’t regretted it

I had an incredible massage here. It was my first time and the customer service was outstanding. My massage was delightful and I felt very taken care of. 10/10 would go back again in the future! They offer a wide selection of services and you can get a membership as well which makes it more affordable if you don't have insurance.

Jennifer is simply wonderful. I came in with neck stiffness and shoulder issues and her technique and deep tissue massage made all the difference. I had been struggling with pain for months, and had been to a few location before to try to solve it but no one but Jennifer really listened to me and got all the details conveyed in our first conversation. Great pressure, great technique. 10/10

Highly recommend Jennifer. She’s kind, sweet and highly skilled. She has a very unique technique. She also modifies massage pressure according to needs and comfort level.
Rating reduced to 4 stars due to miscommunication with front staff that resulted in losing 15 min of 60 min appointment. I called to change appointment from 2 to 3pm but was apparently told it’s at 3: 15pm. A confirmation email or text of new appointment time would have eliminated this confusion. Also did not receive email invoice after appointment and had to call that evening to re request it.

Janice was AMAZING! I rarely get massages because I couldn’t find a good therapist, but Janice made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. She adjusted her pressure really well depending on how tight my muscles were and I didn’t feel beat up by the end of the session. I 100% would go back just because of her.

A top notch well managed business that I would highly recommend. Front desk reception is fantastic. Well organized, kind, friendly, personable, and very helpful. I got a cupping and hot stone massage with Shilpa, and she was great. Did a very good job on my back. Great conversation we had. A very friendly and easy go chat with person who I would very much recommend.

Overpriced compared to other practitioners, when you can get a good therapist the massage can be very good, it's very hit and miss however. I come here because of the convenience, not because it's the best place around.

I have been going here for a couple weeks now and usually see Jennifer. I am a college student who is often stressed during exam season but Jennifer always makes sure I am relaxed and always professionally takes care of any knots or issues I deal with. I had been visiting Massage addict, Shawnessy from last 2 months including my wife and son. I had signed an agreement for 6 months for $90 per visit, yesterday May 30th 2022, during my visit they increased the charges to $100 per visit, without any notice breach the agreement.

Been here a few times and Fred was skilled at getting rid of my back problems. I do a lot of sports and sit at a desk all day so didn’t notice my back was so bad until he worked on it but now my back feels much better

I should say I am addicted now to massage addict. I had the best experience with massage for the first time in Calgary with Vince in the Shawnessy location. I am so glad to have found him. He is doing an amazing job. I had so much pain in my neck and my back but now no more pain after one session. Really calming atmosphere here. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Jennifer has very strong hands and feels every tense muscle. I haven't had massage in years but felt great after her massage. Definitely coming back.

My go to place now for over a year for relaxing massages. Great staff, and most importantly, accommodate last minute bookings online, many times day of, which works great with a busy schedule.

This is a great place to go for a massage, nice clean facility, professional staff and lots of parking. Lots of therapists here, looking forward to trying a few to find who gives me the best treatment.

I booked an appointment at this location and waited 3 weeks so my husband and I can go together. Day before the appointment, we were contacted by the staff and they rebooked me with a male massage therapist after I repeatedly informed the staff I don't want that. They then proceeded to offer us appointments at 2 separate time, I guess the whole point of us coming together was lost on the staff. Also, they seemed to push the male massage therapists.

I had a great experience at Massage Addict. One of the Massage therapist that works there, Marlyn is great at doing her job, I recommend booking a massage from her! They have a kind staff and clean and safe environment.

The place is super clean, staff are very helpful and Marlyn my massager today is super great, I had so much pain in my back and legs due to my field of work as healthcare worker and she really make my day amazing! One of my fave place

My first time experience here was amazing! They were right on time and the place is neat and quiet, with proper covid restrictions to ensure that the staff and clients are safe. My massage therapist, Marlyn, really knew what she was doing and ensured that my time was definitely worth it. Highly recommend and have already booked another appointment!

Just had a first time massage yesterday and I'd say that the major advantage of this place is location but otherwise I would say the service is average at best. If you have access to a vehicle, there's much better alternatives around.

Clean and well kept. Walls are a bit thin, so you can hear people talking in the next room. Otherwise, good massage!

Had a massage with Dayna today and it was the best massage I’ve had in a while, she knows exactly what she’s doing and makes you feel amazing afterwards! Definitely going back to see Dayna again!

Easy access and great service! Was able to book same day, drove up and parked right in front, staff was wonderful and they ran my insurance whilst I was in my massage. Massage with Yelena was excellent!

This is the third 'Massage Addict' that I have visited and I must say I feel like I got ripped off.not from the 'Massage Addict' but from all the other Spa's that I wasted money on! If you are frequenting a Spa or getting a massage at your chiropractor you are likely paying too much! Only problem is I see there are only two more locations in town and you get first visit pricing at each location and after that you need to buy a membership but I hear it doesn't cost anything.hmmm I will edit this review once I find out more information.

My first massage appointment was right on point, but my second appointment was messed up. I booked for hot stone but they said they weren't prepared for that. The lady at the front looked lost several times. There was no one at the front when I walked in and had to wait for someone to show up only for her to appear looking lost and confused. Hence my 3 star. Will reconsider my review if I ever visit again and see some changes and improvement.
