Master Chocolat

I love chocolate, at times I have consumed a pound of chocolate a day. There are a few places in North America that make world class chocolates, this is one of them! The box of assorted chocolates had a best before date of 1 month. I can't imagine leaving them around for even a week. Out of the 36 piece box I got today, the "Winston" -single malt Scotch infused grape puree with chocolate ganache is my favorite. You can see the team making fresh chocolates through the glass walls of the shop, the "factory" was immaculate. The staff were attentive and welcoming, I will be back for sure.

A fun environment full of delicious chocolate. Highly recommend the build your own chocolate bar.

Guys are amazing buying online. For my holidays purchases, they were accommodating and understanding adding a card on my behalf! Their products are top of the notch and can't wait to taste them on my own when I'm again in Calgary

Best Belgium chocolate in Canada! Been a long time I didn't taste an authentic real hot chocolate. Amazing and charming staff, had a wonderful experience Will come back for sure, for even more chocolate

Very welcoming staff, nice looking store and my son enjoyed watching the staff behind the glass making chocolates. This will be our new go to chocolate spot, sorry Choklat, Master Chocolate appreciates customers in the store spending their money. Oh.and of course the chocolates are tasty.

Came here looking for chocolates for my parents anniversary, and got helped by the most helpful employee! I believe her name was Madeline (hopefully I spelt that right lol) but she was very helpful and helped me pick awesome treats for my parents, who are vegan. She made my experience there very fulfilling, and I would gladly come back to the location based on the service I received from her

It was my daughter's 13th birthday and we didn't know what we could do to celebrate with her friends. We've done various activities over the years (skating, swimming, laser tag, locked room etc). We wanted something age appropriate, extra special and fresh. We had a birthday party here for girls aged 12-17. They spent time with Mr Callebaut, learning about chocolates, and then he trained them himself, as they created delicious chocolate bars, lollipops and filled chocolates. He was so engaging. The goal was to learn and have a fantastic time. This was accomplished.

For all the fanfare and people going on about this place there wasn’t a soul in the place when we visited save one clerk who didn’t even acknowledge my wife who was in the store trying to buy Omiyage gifts to bring back to Japan for her family and friends, half an hour and not even a “can I help you? ” nothing.it’s nice to know racism is alive and well in Calgary!
After finishing my phone call outside I came into the store to see how she had progressed to find my wife upset, I tried to get the clerks attention but she skillfully ignored us so we went next door and bought approximately $250 worth of Godiva chocolates since the Master Chocolate factory obviously didn’t need or want our business. Pretty sad especially in this economy, pretty pitiful service (or lack there of)
I expected much better.
The place is clean, huge and modern looking and the chocolate seems to be of good quality not that we were able to buy any for friends and family.
An extremely disappointing experience yesterday afternoon.

Actually, got to chat with Bernard Callebaut. Ask a couple of questions and get the answers much needed. Tasted some samples and then bought some chocolate.

Best chocolate in City. I tried compare chocolate with other competitors and Bernard provide always good service and best chocolate quality. Especially my daughter like milk chocolate, exact the same like in europe. In this store possible order real hot chocolate drink, Ise cream, And custom chocolate bars! I Recommend without any doubts!

Amazing collection of chocolate made with natural and organic ingredients! Custom chocolate bars made by Bernard himself are an amazing treat for the whole family!
