Mavn Hair Salon

Been here for a root touchup. The over all experience was decent i would say considering the price you pay for the service. And 3 days after i got my hair color done, i washed my hair and i could see white hair showing up already in the side burns which was actually disappointing.

My boyfriend booked me an appointment with Jason at this salon in September 2022, after Covid restrictions had lifted.

Everyone at this salon was so sweet and welcoming. I was nervous going in because my hair was truly an utter disaster. Jason did an excellent job with my cut and colour, and was just lovely all around. He was fun to chat with, and was happy to answer all my questions about my hair and which products would work best for me. When I left the salon, I felt like a whole new beautiful person and got so many compliments on my hair.

They pampered me so well, I've been going to this salon since. If anyone's looking for a new salon and isn't sure where to start, I highly recommend Mavn.

Mary is amazing. She took me from dark brown to platinum very quickly and has been keeping it up ever since. Would highly recommend

Jason was a professional, empathetic, and gentle artist. He even showed me how to style my hair since I am a novice, and fit me in last minute.

Highly recommend, will come back.

Mary is amazing at doing hair. She’s nice and personable as well. I highly suggest going to see her. I didn’t like my hair cut or style at all and when she was finished with me I was super happy. They have the most amazing products here as well; your hair will smell absolutely beautiful. High end products and charge a fair price. Absolutely will be a returning customer.

My stylist Mark is a godsend - from his professionalism, technical skill set, personality! The hair magic he does is like no other - I'm huge project with foils, balayage, color and I walk out feeling/looking fantastic every time.

This is a hidden gem. My daughter booked a haircut for my birthday. I was very happy with my haircut. I am glad I found this place so close to my home and Re/Max office in Windermere.

Mavn has a really simple booking system, welcoming and friendly staff and a really great vibe at the salon. Mark is the best stylist around, he was extremely friendly and gave me a great cut!

Mark is absolutely amazing! So talented and friendly. He gave me the most amazing haircut and has made my naturally dark hair a beautiful blonde that is healthy and easy to maintain. I cannot say enough good things about Mavn Hair Salon!

First time using this Salon and I can say I was very impressed. They take Covid precautions very seriously and ensure from the second you set foot in the door, to the time you leave, that you feel extremely comfortable and safe. As for the haircut, 5 star skin fade! Mark did an amazing job ensuring that no hair was out of place. I made sure to rebook right after the appointment, that’s how impressed I was!

To share my details about this place is super hard in writing because the people and experience is everything. Mark P is the best stylist in Edmonton hands down. You get treated like royalty start to finish. The quality is second to none. Not to mention being able to hang out and chat in a super chill environment. I've never been treated so well by anyone at any salon. Highly recommend. 11/10.

Good haircut, nice staff but really large price increase for Covid that is not advertised on the website. Disappointing when you are looking to stay in a budget. Prices should be changed on website. A rip off.

I have been getting my hair done at Mavn by Vanessa for over a year now and have had nothing but great experiences with not only her, but all of the Stylists! This salon genuinely cares for their clients and provides fantastic services. Their products are of the highest quality and I have seen tons of improvement from where my hair was before my first visit to how healthy it is now! The overall experience is phenomenal and well worth the money. Every time I visit Mavn I leave with healthy, beautiful hair and awesome products that increase the overall appearance of my hair. I have nothing but positive things to say about the salon and the stylists who work here!

Salon is gorgeous and all the staff are so welcoming and cheerful. Rana took such great care of me, I’m personally not that picky with my hairstyle, but I was really touched by how sweet, communicative and thorough she was about making sure she was giving me precisely the haircut that I would happy with, would give 10 stars if I could ️

I cannot recommend Mavn enough! Incredibly kind and professional staff, super clean and welcoming atmosphere, and my haircut is perfect every time. Kendra is an amazing stylist! They've taken the pandemic seriously and follow all guidelines, I've never felt uncomfortable there. And they have even gone so far as to help me fix a flat tire on my last visit! You will not be disappointed here!

Mavn hair is by my work - I decided to try it out as I wanted to color my hair. Vanessa was very friendly and explained the process when coloring hair. This is the first salon that I ever experienced that. Their knowledge about hair and color amazed me. Joanne was great as she was there too giving her feedback as well. The products they used on my hair not only smell good but my hair felt so soft and healthy after the color.

Two thumbs up for Mavn hair! It’s modern, clean and the service is incredible! I will definitely keep coming back!

I had the pleasure to have Mary as my stylist. Initially I was nervous because I was told that Mary is an apprentice and this was my first visit at MAVN. However, Mary exceeded my expectations. She was personable and made me feel comfortable. She listened to my concerns and offered suggestions. Mary's technique was more advanced than stylists that I have had in the past. I have already recommended my family and friends to this salon! Keep up the good work!

It was my first time at this saloon, went there to see my hairstylist Rana, who is so incredibly talented in her profession, she always provides best service and I feel absolutely amazing after my haircut. Love the place, so neat, clean, professional, welcoming, keep up the good work

MAVN hair salon is amazing. It's super clean & all the stylists are professional & lovely. I landed there as the place I booked had a major miscommunication and left me stranded. I called Mavn and they readily took me in & swept me off the floor. Mark is an amazing stylist, he is calm, professional and friendly. Amazing experience. Needed a color correction. I showed up on the wrong day but the owner stayed behind to help fix a color gone bad. So very happy with the results love love love it! Found my new stylist. Highly recommended. Louise

I came to Joanne with a hair color disaster and she did an amazing job with fixing it.i absolutely love the results!

Right from the moment I emailed to inquire about services, the girls were so welcoming.i was able to get in for an appointment very quickly. They did a complentary consultation, made expert recommendations in regard to my ultimate goal and were realistic about what will work. They made me feel very comfortable with the whole process and never once made me feel bad or talked down to me about the mess that was my hair when I first came in.

Joanne went over styling techniques with me, told me what works with my facial structure, complexion and eye color.
She really knows her stuff!

All of the ladies there are so welcoming, kind and encouraging. They go above and beyond to make sure your experience at their salon is the best.and it truly was.

Vanessa gave me the best colour I’ve had in years! The cut & colour rejuvenated my hair and I felt revitalized walking out of the salon. The staff are professional yet fun, and I was completely confident with their cleaning & disinfecting practices. I’ll be back!
