I was so scared before this appointment, but ultrasound technician John and radiologist Dr. Lee (sp?) literally went out of their way to keep me as comfortable and calm as they could. Excellent team! I don't see myself going to any other diagnostic clinic than the Mayfair at Market Mall. Thank you all so much!
I came to this location for a specific ultrasound this location being one of the few that offer it. Bit of a bummer having to go across the city for it early in the morning but the experience made up for it. The seating is a bit small compared to the location I usually book at (SouthCentre) but 5/5 for service and efficiency. I arrived 40 min early for my appt having come so far and was seen 20 min ahead of my appt time. I was done by my actual appt time. This time the tech (Ali) was actually a regular tech instead of a student which means I only had to do the breath holding and the scanning one time. Last time at Southcentre there was a student and although I respect the student’s need to learn, I disliked having to do the scans twice. Once by her and once by her supervisor. This time there was no need. I appreciate Mayfair’s timeliness with their appts overall regardless of location. I think it is greatly respectful to see patients on time and if they are seen early that’s another bonus.
The complicated procedure was well explained, they answered all my questions, and were very accommodating to some physical limitations I had. Actually a pleasant experience!
I had a spinal epidural yesterday. I was taken in a little ahead of my scheduled appointment time, everything was thoroughly explained to me, all my questions answered, staff were very friendly, helpful and constantly checking that I understood and that I was doing okay. Would highly recommend this facility.
- inaccurate hours (suppose to be open and they are not). Requisitions either outdated or they didn’t adhere to hours stated. - Mayfair diagnostics as a whole: one place in all of Calgary open on a weekend and it’s at the edge of the city involving a 40 min drive for stat test. Then results take 2 days as no radiologist to read them. They need to do better
Needed ultra sound and xray of my hand after my cat bit me. I was able to watch the ultra sound on my finger. It is amazing to see how your body works.
I just came out of my mammogram in tears. I have never been yanked around like that in my life. Because I can’t find a phone number for the centre and I was number 53 in line when I called the booking line to complain, I am forced to leave a public comment. There was no caring or gentleness involved here. Her sticky gloves pulled at my skin as she tried to position me correctly. She tightened and tightened the knob until I was left breathless and when I told her it was very painful she said it was the minimum she could do. I will never come back to this location and now have a newfound fear of mammograms. I only gave it two stars instead of one because it was a very efficient process until the time of my test.

I was in and out for my ultra sound to my left elbow quickly. My appointment was awesome. I am always treated with great care and respect when I visit any Mayfair Diagnostic location.
My wife had an excellent experience at Mayfair Market Mall. Friendly admission staff/ excellent technicians and a radiologist that explained the pain therapy procedure in detail and continually checked in with her. Would definitely recommend this location.
This is definitely the MOST efficient medical centre I have ever attended and I am in my early 60s, so have been to many appointments through the years!

I was very pleased with the service I recently received from Mayfair Diagnostics Market Mall. The mammogram technician was very caring and gentle during the procedure, in other words - she was amazing! The ultrasound technician was also really great and very detail-oriented. I am very thankful to the two amazing ladies personally as well as the clinic for making my medical experience pain and worry free.
Appointment was right on time - I was in and out for my ultrasound in 20 minutes. The front staff and tech were all friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. Great experience!
I required a cortisone injection on my very painful hip, bursitis. I was treated very well, the procedure was a little painful but I think my anxiety about it made it worse. The doctor was quick and kind and the nurse reassuring.
Great experience for my health care needs. Their booking system is easy, electronic communications effective and easy to navigate. The staff were prompt, efficient, professional, friendly and compassionate.
I was a bit early but the admission people took me right away, and arranged for me to have my xray done right away before my pain therapy, for which I got in on time. Everyone was pleasant and made the experience a very good one. Highly recommend
I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, was greeted right away, I provided the requisition form, ABHC card and my ID. I then waited approx 10 minutes and was finished within 10 min after my appointment time! Fantastic service. Warm friendly atmosphere. No anxiety over getting the health tests. Highly recommend this diagnostic centre. Thank you for treating me like a human being. You are really lovely people.
Great parking, easy to find, clean building, smooth check in, no waiting, I didn’t even finish my check in form before they had me come in and get ready for my cortisone injection
The most pleasant group of people, greeted with a smile at check, the wait time was minimum. The nurse gave a full explanation what to expect and the doctor was so kind. Awesome
I'm very nervous getting needles and everyone with whom I interacted was excellent, kind, patient, understanding, gentle and informative. I didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever during the procedure and I feel like a new person today.
Very disappointed booked early appointment on my dayoff Sunday morning. Reached on time and came to know that bone scanner machine broken down. I have re-booked. It would be better if they could have called me in the morning and informed to save my trip and time.
Forgot my paper requisition, they called my doctor and problem that I caused resolved in about two minutes, barely sat down and called for my procedure, all staff polite and efficient, doctor showed up in seconds all done in about three minutes. Best service I have ever had at any medical institution
The office staff were so helpful. I had my requistion on my phone, but could not for some reason process it and the front end staff were so patient and helpful. The technicians were very friendly, super efficient and I didn't have to wait at all for the appointments.thank you
Appointment was at 2: 45 and I waited 15 minutes to be called another 15 minutes in the waiting room for my bone density test which took 5 minutes. Then waited another 15 minutes to be called for mammogram! That was the worst mammogram I have had in many years. I am very sore from her trying to get my breast muscle in the proper position
The ladies in the office were so helpful. I forgot my paperwork and they called my doctor and got them to fax it. Everyone was very professional, yet kind
I had cortisone shots in each shoulder one week apart very recently. There were absolutely no problems with either appointment. Everything from the front desk check in to the changing room and especially the actual cortisone shots went fantastic. Everyone is very pleasant and efficient. The doctors and their assistants made me feel comfortable and explained everything. Both appointments went very fast from arrival to leaving building took + /- 20 minutes. Thank you!
I had shoulder pain that needs steroid injection. Staff at Mayfair centre at pain therapy is very lovely and helful to me. Big shout out to Valentina who helped me book a schedule for the injection.thank you so much. She explained to me the protocols and procedure. It was really a great experience despite the pain that i am having during that time.
And also to the other lovely lady, Sheryl, who guide me and help me putting on my diagnostic gown.
I always have a pleasant expeince there, (bloodworks, xrays, ultrasound) all the staff are friendly and acceptable. Plus, they are so clean. There’s a lady there that always clean the high touch point and the chair every after use.
I was booked in quickly and professionally and was told to wait in the waiting room until called. There was more waiting around then the actual testing took as they must have been running a little over. Once in though the X-ray tech was very pleasant, fast and efficient. There was a mix-up though with the ultrasound testing which could have been avoided if the technician had read the requisition form properly. After part of the testing was done she was arguing with me why I was there. She said there was a mistake with whomever booked the appointment as it should have been two appointments but did eventually complete everything after I pointed out the information on the requisition form. The additional testing literally took about 2 minutes more. I don't understand why she said it should have been a different appointment. Maybe they would have gotten paid more? I don't know. Overall not too bad but they could improve.
I had initially booked an appointment at the Elbow drive location, only to get there & be told I had to go somewhere else because the doctor that did the requisition was at this location. I therefore was inconvenienced to go to another location on a different date because they didn't do their due diligence when booking the appointment! This was a waste of 4 bus tickets! Pretty disappointed. At Market mall, I had to wait half an hour before my procedure!
Very cheerful and professional staff. We arrived early and they took us right in. Our appointments were completed about the same time as the original appointment. We like that they are open on Sunday's.
Fantastic clinic! Cleanest I have been to by far, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this clinic and will be requesting it for all future appointments.
I totally love this place! The people working at the Market Mall location are all awesome. So friendly and informative. I knew exactly what was going to happen from the initial booking of my appointment, to the greeting at the reception, to the actual procedure right up to when I was told I could leave. And the timing of my appointment far exceeded my expectations. Everything EXCEEDED my expectations and I look forward to a return visit.

This has been my fifth visit to this clinic but the first time during the Pandemic. I brought my mask and arrived 15 min early as requested. Was asked very detailed health questions and ushered into the clinic where they took my info and had me seated in the waiting area. The chairs had been spaced apart and a staff member sanitized every seat before and after a patient had been called. I was seated apart from any patients again and called in within moments. The technician and Dr Lee was outstanding, little to no pain just mild discomfort as I expected. Left through the side exit and very relieved that it was handled so professionally. Thank you to all the Medical teams keeping us healthy.
I had to come for a much anticipated and groooling mammogram today. I never like these. But today the technician named ANNETTE was absolutely amazing. She was kind, thorough and oh my goodness it did NOT hurt AT ALL. Some people are just so great and make Alberta Healh Care a better place to visit. Thank you Annette for your work. You deserve a big raise.
I had a 1PM appointment, I arrived about 30 minutes early and was greeted and processed for the procedure paperwork immediately. I waited a couple of minutes and then was greeted by the Technologist and taken in for the procedure. As I was walking out of the building to return to my car I noted it was 2 minutes until my scheduled appointment was to begin. The visit was quick, efficient and professionally conducted!
Had the best experience at this clinic. I didn’t have my requisition on me and Vanessa at the front reception went out of her way to get it for me and get me in as soon as possible. Alex who performed my ultrasound was so sweet and personable, she made time for by so fast. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Keep up the amazing service guys

I booked an ultrasound appointment one month in advance, got a reminder email a day before my appointment, did the check-in in the center and after 10 minutes sitting in the waiting area, they canceled my appointment! My family Dr wanted me to do the test in a week from my visit and it's going to be at least 1.5 months with this change. I wish they could make their booking/timing system more transparent for their clients and respect their clients' time.
My grand daughter of age about 3 years have to carry out Xray for hand as per doctor advise. Normally Children are not used to go to clinics. So as soon as she entered in room, she started to cry. This kind of behavior is a normal among kids. Instead radiologist shall handle such situation professionally, she started to yell at child by saying "Stop Crying" "Stop Screaming". She even try to pull her effected hand which required Xray. She was repeatedly saying 5 people are waiting out side and i can not wait for her. The child became more scared of her and start to cry more. We have no other choice to leave the clinic Please note we have phoned this clinic prior to visit and asked if they can carry out Xray for kids. We were told yes they can do. But it seems the team at Market mall are not trained to deal with kids patients. I will not recommend to take your kind to this location. I have given 2 stars as i never face problem for my Xray or Ultrasound.
