Mayfair Diagnostics Sunpark

Staff wouldn’t allow me to stand in the shirked area so I had to leave while my young son got his xray. They also acted like we were a major inconvenience the entire time. Since there were 3 techs, 2 on their phones and one performing the 5 second xray not sure why we would be an inconvenience. Wouldn’t go back if I had a choice but no where else to after 4pm.

I was late for 10 minutes today on my appointment and the receptionist checked me in and after that she told me they can not take me in anymore. I know my fault its just that on my appointment before, they are also late sometimes i wait more than 20 minutes and its fine with me. No considerations that's all. I will not book my appointment here again.

Everyone was professional and even positive and kind, makes a hard experience that much gentler.

Quiet area, free parking is nice!
The receptionist was late to open the office, some people were upset this early morning.
However the mammography technician was professional, explained by easy language and kindly attitude.

Everyone there was professional, kind and really helpful. It was a great experience. Also quite efficient, everything ran smoothly and on time.

I had a few diagnostic imaging at this site today. All the team members were very pleasant and helpful.
Both thumbs up particularly for my tech Britany…. She was professional, informative, pleasant, most importantly very calm. Made my tests much easier n not as fearful n stressful as I had been anticipating. A gem for the site.

I went in for a ultrasound on my leg. I was in quite a bit of pain and emotional because of the pain. When I was called back to the room I was greated by Jen, who maybe was having a bad day or had a patient from that day who wasn't pleasant, but I feel she had zero sympathy for me. When I asked for a gown because my lower half was fully exposed she rudly asked me "why, for what"? I said because I would feel more comfortable to cover up a bit. So she said, "ok" quite rudely. She came back to the room and gave me a gown that was pretty small, I am not the smallest woman but maybe she thought she'd humor herself and said " ill be back". Whe n she came back she then proceeded with the exam which was quite painful and made me cry. She turned and looked and me with an attitude and said " did you want me to just stop then"? I said "No it's just really sore". She didn't say anything to me, but just continued the exam. I felt at that moment of being so emotional that's she would have talked me through it and had some empathy. At least warned me that she would be applying so much pressure to suchba tender area. But that was far from it. Super sad to see how I was treated and felt from one individual.

Short wait, technicians very kind and professional. Only complaint is that the clearly stated 'must wear a mask' policy was not enforced and more than half of patients were not masked. Did not feel safe given this is a medical office.

Professional, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable are only a few to the words to express how well run this clinic is!

I was in today for an early obstetrical ultrasound. This is my fourth pregnancy, with previously having three losses.

I requested to have the screen turned on so I could see the imaging, but the tech said no because ‘it’s not good quality’ and then proceeded to turn the ultrasound screen away from me too. She said I could see at the end.

My husband was able to see the screen, and I feel so jipped. I’m a nurse and well aware the tech can’t diagnose, but I feel like it’s within my rights to see the imaging. There are even patient screens for this reason. I had to ask again at the end to see a picture.

I am really disappointed in this, and is not in line with trauma informed care. Patient requests and experience should be taken into consideration and not dismissed.

Update: After talking to my friends that have had obstetrical u/s, it seems like this is an issue with Mayfair. I realized that all of my other appointments have been with EFW. I will make a point to NOT book with Mayfair again.

Great, friendly people here. No waiting & procedure only took 15 minutes.

Good idea on parking scan.

The staff are helpful and friendly and I never have any issues when I come in for an appointment and that is why I always stay with Mayfair at Sunpark and Mayfair at Elbow Drive and Glenmore.

I had a great experience from my Ultrasound appointment. The place is very organized from beginning to end. If all Health Care follows your total process procedure from beginning to end. Our health care dollars should be able to meet our population needs. However, like all interactions, there’s always a place to improve. 1st, the text confirmation should have your address and directions to your place. 2nd, once you enters your office. Need a sign and a line telling patient where to wait and what to do like « Wait for receptionist to call you ». I was looking for a line up and a number to pull so that I know I’m on que and can sit rather than blocking the entrance. This way the entry is not blocked and patients are dispersed throughout the office. To be fair, I was quickly called within 5 minutes. Once called, all information I need was provided including parking details. Very efficient. Good job and thank you all for this efficient process since I’m full of liquid and about to explode

Every time I go, I get great service, everyone is so respectful, friendly, mindful, understanding and kind, and the facilities are always clean. Thanks to your team, the whole medical process isn't as scary and awkward, and your very knowledgeable team makes it all much easier. Thank you all so much!

My wait time was minimal and my technician was kind, supportive and made me feel I was being well cared for.

I have been here countless times for all sorts of scans and the techs are friendly, thorough, and quick, sometimes you wait a little past the time you were supposed to be booked in, which is expected with any kind of healthcare establishment, but they always acknowledge and apologize which is why it gets my 5 stars!

The staff was very friendly, patient and organized. The technicians were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I felt very calm and comfortable.

The tech was very friendly and thorough. She immediately set up an additional test for me and made arrangements for me to head over to the next appt right away. She also took a moment to fill my waterbottle for me before her next appt.

My experience yesterday was great. Appointment was on time. Receptionist and Ultrasound Tech (Brittney) were very pleasant. The only recommendation I would make if appointments could be made online.

Aside from the struggle to book an appointment on the phone, i was pretty pleased with my care at mayfair diagnostics.the receptionist was polite yet straightforward and the technician was the same.i'm not a fan of small talk so i appreciated that everything was right to the point and i didn't have to wait an unnecessary amount of time inside the clinic.

It was a bit of waiting to book an appointment over the phone, but they booked me for the next business day. The technicians were very professional and friendly.

Service and cleanliness is good. I received care in a professional and timely manner. Parking is easy, and free.

I had very good service, the appointment was right on time and the personnel was very efficient and friendly.

Best place for any test you need. For the first time ever I was late due to my appointment because of pain. They welcomed me and never said a negative word about my being late. Absolutely wonderful people and so very experienced. They patiently helped me wobble through to the exam room. Would never go anywhere else.

Quite happy with all the Staffs from the front desk to the Technicians for their friendliness, courteousness and professionalisms of their job. Happy New Year to all!

I had an appointment, and they invited me to the room precisely at the time I booked. Such punctuality is rare, I was surprised. The lady who did my ultrasound was very polite and respectful. She gave me privacy to prepare to the procedure and to clean all that oil after. Overall, very pleasant experience.

When I asked for a female to do the wand the man stated that wasnt an option. I thought it odd. It should always be an option.

Everyone one in the front office were really nice and I was taken 5 minutes before my appointment time. The girl that did the ultrasound was very good, explained what was to happen and all went well. Thank you

Was there twice in last two weeks and very friendly staff and technicians. Made the appointments very comfortable. On time as well.

This was a horrible experience. Had a 3.5 hr drive for the appointment, 1 hr away was told the technician didn’t make it to work and I had to reschedule. My father was in so much pain that I couldn’t do that. They found a different location available with a technician 4 hours apart.
After the ultrasound was done we were told he still had to go for x ray at a 3rd location.
This is incompetence at its highest level.

The appointments went very smoothly and faster than expected. Had a little trouble finding the place but that was mostly my fault.

Mayfair Diagnostics was very well organized and they were on time, I was in and out within 30 minutes.
