Untrained staff very rude specially the women sitting on receptionist. They don’t know how to talk on phone. Long waiting time even if u u have appointment.

I did booking in Dec 1 2023 from Nov 11 2023 and when I call before to confirm my booking they reply me no appointment at that booking I was did, that means that clinic not care for who manage the client from reception like so many confusing that's not good.

I’ve been calling since July to see my family doctor, Dr. Heba and the receptionist has been so rude on the phone and also has hanged up on me! That Dr. Heba is either too busy or not in the clinic, I’m sure Dr. Heba doesn’t tolerate this behaviour and doesn’t know what her front stuff are doing! I respectfully asked her if she can send a message to Dr. Heba and I know Dr. Heba doesn’t mind because she’s told me if I need anything to call the clinic and leave her a message and she’ll get back to me but for receptionist does not respect that! Dr. Heba knows I’m a mom of 3 toddlers and somethings it’s hard for me to come down to the clinic that’s why she’s been helping me out. I’m not sure what’s her reception problem with people leaving a message for doctors in the clinic!

DO NOT GO HERE. Doctors are incompetent and do not know how to do their jobs. If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Went here because my regular doctor was completely booked up, and I clearly have strep throat and need antibiotics. My tonsils are red and inflamed, filled with pus pockets, and I have been sick and in pain. The doctor takes one look at my mouth, and says I’m “fine” and all I need to do is take pain killers. They did swab my throat, but I have heard nothing from them. Fast forward and I was able to get in with my family doctor. She gave me antibiotics right away. Never coming here again, it doesn’t seem they put a lot of effort into their walk-in patients. It may be a different story if you’re a regular patient here.

The reception very helpful to manage your appointments or any other helps. Stuff amazing and helpful.

Dr Heba and the staff are wonderful. Seriously, Dr Heba is brilliant and kind and I know I'm in very good hands. Grateful.

I had a pleasant experience here, I recommend calling and making a walk-in appointment as opposed to just showing up because the walk-in doc isn't always there as he is at 2 different locations. I read previous reviews of long wait times but I had no choice as my appointment was quite urgent, I mentioned that on the phone and she fit me in within 24 hours - all other places I called was a 2 week wait. I didn't wait long at all once there, and Dr. Malik was awesome - its always a gamble with walk in doctors but he was understanding, great to communicate with, knowledgeable and more importantly I felt he actually cared as opposed to some doctors just trying to move on to the next patient. I only give it 4 stars because of cleanliness of the facility, other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Front desk receptionist are amazing, staff is well trained, Doctors are fantastic and their clinic is clean. Everything is perfect except the most important thing, their waiting time.

Doesn’t matter if you book appointment. You will wait almost a hour. They always over book. This is insane because the way a doctor get paid, is by the amount of patients they see, read between the lines here.

So, to offer a better service to the population and their patients, extending the segment of each persons would function better.

On top of that, they take walk-in patients. Their system is not great. As mush as their service is amazing and the doctors are professional and respectful, they need to fix their schedule.

I rather have a rude staff, and a dirty clinic but no waiting time. The result would be the same, treatment would end up being given no matter what but in good timeframe.

I would recommend this clinic to everyone, amazing one, but you will wait hours…

Seriously, this clinic has the worst front desk receptionist I have ever met in my life. She is incredibly rude, irritable and has zero patience. I've been here twice now and when she gives me sass, I give it right back to her. I understand your job is tough, but if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. So do yourself a favour and avoid this clinic.

Do not go here. They are very disrespectful.
I had previously contacted Mayland clinic about getting a new family doctor as I no longer have one. They told me I could not book an appointment and that I had to come as a walk in and ask the doctor to do a meet and greet with me.
When a nurse took me to do my vitals she was unprofessional and rude. She snapped at me multiple times and told me I was wasting her time and they should of just ignored me cuz of they were far behind on scheduled appointments. She said I should of booked an appointment instead of coming in as a walk in and I told her I was told I couldn’t and she kept cutting me off.
Then the experience got even worse when I saw Dr.malik imtiaz. I had a couple concerns I mentioned to him. Including severe migraines, that have become unbearable. He didn’t believe me when I told him the doses I was on, he said I was lying. And was very rude. Then he asked what other medications I was on.
He proceeded to tell me I have a lot of issues if I require Ativan occasionally next to my regular anxiety medication. He told me he wouldn’t help me and I need to “figure out how to cope. ”
It is so disheartening to have a medical professional tell me I have issues if I can’t handle my anxiety and mental health. When I’m doing everything I can to help myself like seeing doctors and finding the right meds.
He told me it’s my fault I don’t sleep and that’s what causes all my “issues”.
That entire visit made my mental health worse and is so incredibly defeating. No one should ever have to deal with a doctor criticizing you for your mental health especially when you are doing everything you can to help yourself. Because of this doctor, not only did I leave in tears, but I was beating myself up that I struggle with my mental health. That’s not ok.
I’m writing this cuz I don’t want anyone else to go through this. They made me feel helpless and defeated

She is likable when approaching you and that disappoints me because it confused me why she cannot leverage that in her time management skills when she has a patient scheduled to see her.

I have personally discussed this with her on multiple occasions but it is what it is.nothing has been done.

Time wasting, unless you have nowhere to go that day on your appointment with her.

Friendly professional staff. Dr. Imtiaz is a great doctor. Takes the time to ask pertinent questions & recommends appropriate treatment.

The staff are incapable of answering phones, and will turn you away fron a walk-in, despite you trying to schedule an appointment with your family doctor for 3 days, and nobody calls back, or answers the phone.

I'll be finding a doctor somewhere else as a result.

Today I went to this clinic. My appointment was at 1: 00 pm but the doctor saw me 40 minutes after. The doctor is called Hiba. I supposed be getting in @ 1 pm. Finally, when the Dr hiba came. She was not responsible and not respected even she did not apologize for made me late. I don’t think so she is a real a doctor.

She just guessed and she told me why u are here?

I will complaint for her. She had been so rude and she wasted my time. I regretted I was coming the this bad clinic. She thought me I’m not speaking English. She thought she could exploited my weaknesses as I just spoke Arabic.

I’m not recommending to anyone one going to this clinic and especially Dr Heba. For people who doesn’t speak English and just speak Arabic. You can go to any clinic except this clinic.

I would avoid coming to this clinic if you can. I was recently in for a walk in appointment for my sore throat. With walk-ins they have no proper que for it. I was waiting there 5 hours to be seen and I saw about 4 others go ahead of me for walk-ins which to me is unacceptable unless they have it posted that they will be seeing the sickest looking people first.

This place really needs to explain it’s practice rules to those of us on appointment list, that it is only WALK IN Clinic so that we will quit calling and making appointments and taking up precious receptionist time and effort of making a list of time allotted appointments, as they serve no purpose upon the people who showed up on time, and had lots of time to be informed that
a) doctor is not going to be available for there supposedly scheduled appointment
B) everybody that comes through that door at your scheduled time is more important, even though you have a scheduled appointment.

My husband is so upset that he doesn’t want to go back even though there is nowhere else to go for medical help.

Clinics like this really make me question the rigor from CPSA around Doctor certification. Are these doctors for real or did they land off the Immigration Flight and go straight to the Clinic without getting their credentials checked? They have the worst bedside manners. One doctor doesn't say anything (Male doctor) - although in fairness he does do his job, the other traipses around like shes the queen with a palpable attitude as if she hates her job. Listen missy, go check your attitude at the door (Heda) there are enough Karens in the world. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this clinic and try another location. And if you're the CPSA reading this.can you please recheck if this clinic is legit?

My appointment with Imtiaz was shocking, don't know if he is a real dr, any question I asked, has no answer, just saying "don't know". He doesn't even bother to look at my health history, he cares only about the time you spent in order to kick you out.very unprofessional and not caring about his patients.watch! This clinic has not updated their hours on their website, they advertise as being open on Sundays and they are NOT!

Dr. Malik Imtiaz was seen on two separate occasions by my girlfriend and then myself, she had an injury to her ankle and I had a stomach infection, he told both of us that our problems were due to us being overweight, my girlfriend and myself are in no way obese or anything just a little bit on the bigger side, still very active both of us. But she has injured her ankle and he completely dismissed it. And I asked if skinny people could get this exact same stomach infection to which I was told “yes but being fat will contribute to the problem” so if skinny people can get this as well what purpose did mentioning my weight serve? He barely looked at either of us during the exam, just had his face buried in his computer.

Dr. Heba shouldn't be a doctor. She is as useless as a trash can. She treats her Caucasian walk in like a waste of time.e

Very friendly staff and a very thorough and experienced doctor. Never feel rushed and always feel I am listened to and respected.

Dr. Heba Al-Mahfound is exceptional, the best DR I have ever had. She takes her time with every patient, and works so hard, she make me optimistic all the time, The staff are also amazing, thank you Dr Heba God bless you

I love dr. Heba, I have been seeing her for years, she takes her time, she’s very compassionate and very friendly.

My senior mother has been going to Dr. Imtiaz for about four years, and he has been extremely thorough, kind and helpful. When in doubt he will refer you to someone who can help.

Wow what a negative experience I had today. I went at length describing my diagnosis and what the treatment plan should be and the dr tried to dismiss me without the prescription. I just sat there and stared at him until he said what? Then I repeated what the treatment plan should be. I wonder what my experience would have been if I had not asserted myself? Geez.

WORST experience I’ve ever had, I came in and the front desk girl was so rude. I came in because I have a sore, red and swollen throat, I have been tested for covid and it came back negative so obviously I have to go to the doctor to see what is wrong.

The doctor didn’t swab me or anything! Looked at my throat and agreed it was swollen and red and said “you have a virus or something” exact words. Told me to take Tylenol and looked at me like I was a waste of his time, asked me what I expected of this appointment. I expected to be properly treated

My throat still Was hurting so I went to a different doctor and they said I have strep and I got a prescription.

DO NOT GO HERE! They are unprofessional and sent me home with strep without doing proper testing and couldn’t even tell me what was wrong with me!

Absolutely ridiculous, if I could give a zero star I would.

They required me to do something that is NOT required by law for me to have access to my health care services. I can choose whether or not I want to shop at Costco and wear a mask, I do not get to CHOOSE where I get my essential life prescriptions. I have been using this clinic for years. My family doctor is good. The front desk is rude, and unaccommodating. On multiple occasions. But this occasion I was told I would be required to wear a face mask to be able to get a walk in appointment to get my regular necessary prescriptions, or cover my face up - I don't own a mask. I've been working this whole time, no mask required or necessary. So I wore a jacket that would come up over the bottom of my face. Problems solved, I thought. She completely refused to provide me with health care if I was not masked. I don't own one, and have not been required to do so at ANYWHERE else, nor is it required BY LAW. So I demanded to wait for the doctor to pass by the doorway so that I could briefly bring it to her attention, the doctor gave me one and I wore it, but that was the most negative experience at a clinic to date. I can choose whether or not to boycott Costco for requiring them. I will be changing family doctors because of this experience.

Got second degree burns on my arm. Went into this clinic. The receptionist still let others who came after me see the doctor before me. I get in and Dr. Heba was so astoundingly rude. She gasps and says ewwww to my burn. The whole interaction was so insensitive and unprofessional.

Update: I ended up going to another doctor who informed me that the prescription she gave me doesn’t help the type of burn I have

In my opinion Dr AL-MAHFOUD HEBA is a vary cold doctor, wants you in and out of the clinic quick and did not do a thorough examination in my condition. Turns out i had strep throat, she didn't do any physical exam of me and kept saying, " why don't you go to your regular doctor" I had to ask her to do a throat swab before i left. In conclusion i don't feel like this doctor wanted to help me, i would never want anyone to be treated like she treated me, i wont ever return.

I've seen 3 of the doctors at this location over the past couple of years and I had issues with all of them. One screwed up a test and made me wait an hour at the clinic just for him to tell me that. Another one misdiagnosed strept throat and put me on antibiotics I paid for and that did not work. Another made a pretty insensitive joke about an issue I was having. I don't recommend this clinic.

Went as a walk in patient. Received a bill in the mail from Alberta Health, to my Alberta address I may add. Called Alberta Health, they said I had to deal with the clinic. They say I have to deal with Alberta Health.

Don't go here or you will have to pay!

I called this place, didn't even go in and, the left me on hold for 15 min total (called back) and, the receptionist was very short with me and, didn't say goodbye as she hung up. With is normal etiquette I thought.

Dr. Heba Al-Mahfound is exceptional. She takes her time with every patient, and works so hard. The staff are also amazing and make me feel great whenever I go in there! I've gone in for both walk-ins and appointments and I never have to wait long for either.

Reception is very disrespectful! The doctors don't care! They make you wait for no reason everyone just sits around and talks. The doctors do not give proper medical care I've actually been told by a doctor " I don't know what to do for you" DO NOT GO HERE

They stop excepting people an hour or so before they even close. Very poor decision on their part. Why say you’re open if you’re turning people away

My family dr.is doctor Heba and she is amazing with my ENTIRE family and has never done me harm she has been extremely accurate when finding out what I may have. I'm actually going in today for a pulled muscle and I hope they can continue with the good work

I called to make an appointment, on Saturday. They're open until 4 PM and I've been on hold for almost 45 minutes now, not to mention on several occasions with visits in the past. I had come here for when I was very sick and had salmonella. However the Doctor, at the time an older blonde woman. Simply pressed on my stomach a couple times and said it was a stomach flu and that i'd be fine in 24 hours. After being taken to the hospital by my Mom, I had found out it was salmonella and the doctor told me that had I waited too much longer to come in that it could have been Fatal.

Came here on a Friday because I was feeling very sick, doctor told me I was fine and need to just go home and take Tylenol till I feel better, I knew something was very wrong and did not trust The doctor, I ended up going in to urgent cAre the next day and turns out I had phenomena. Don’t trust the doctor here.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. The front desk girls are very nice, and welcoming! I found the first doctor that i am 100% comfortable with. She is the nicest lady and always makes me feel like I’m her top priority.
I also have never had to wait more then 20 minutes to see a doctor, its awesome!
