I had a wash and blowdry and was very impressed with the level of professionalism and skill. Very excited with the outcome. Highly recommend, great price and very welcoming staff.

In my experience getting services done by Hasina, I have found her to be both highly skilled and incredibly kind. You can tell that she has a passion for aesthetics through her attention to detail and gentleness with everything she does, whether it be nails, waxing, lashes, or facials.

I have found that she really values building a relationship with her clients and she makes an effort to get to know you. I've been to many salons, but have only encountered one other nail artist besides Hasina who does this. Otherwise, it often feels like you're just one of an assembly line of clients for the artist to get through. This feeling of being genuinely cared for is what makes me want to come back and book with her.

All of this is to say that book with Hasina if you have the chance to, you'll be in good hands!

Grace was lovely and did a fantastic job on my full head of blonde highlights. Highly recommend, but pack your patience as they are students and will take a longer time to finish a service. Bring yourself coffee and water etc as they do not offer anything with your service.

The girl that did my hair was named Lily, she did a good job, 10/10 would recommend going to her if you find out she's a hairdresser close by, or not close by I'd drive an hour for that.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience and the student didn’t color my hair the way I’ve asked. Would recommend to pass and not go here for a service…too bad now I have to pay a full price at the salon to get this bad hair job un-done! So save up for the first time and do it professional, less money, damage and less of a headache

Shoutout to Rute and Judy! I had a balayage with silver done, then roomelt and low lights to finish it off. Came out beautiful. I'm very pleased and feel great! Instructors Joe and Diane gave fantastic hands on education with the students for an in-depth learning experience. I very much appreciated how involved I was with the process and how I was talked through the steps and science of beautifying my hair. Front end staff Sarah is extremely kind and and I felt very taken care of. Highly recommend!

Stop wasting your time by searching other schools that doesn’t care about your passion or how they should teach you as student but just your i have been there it’s wasting time. I’m telling you Come to MC COLLEGE This is the best school to get hairstyling course and has amazing amazing good staff/instructors to teach and guide you exactly where you wanna be as a hairstylist I’m glad I chose MCCOLLEGE ️

Definitely the best place to get a haircut in downtown. It is basically a college where students are guided by their teachers. Teachers are sweet and very professional.
I was looking for a hair cut and found only this place open in this cold weather and got my hair cut done and it was great, so I took my 5yr old the next day and Manpreet gave him an amazing haircut, she was very sweet and good with handling kids and expert in hair styling too.
New update:
I have been to MC college multiple times and found even though some students are good they need instructors to guide them a bit in the salon but I found Nikita who did my haircut with minimal guidance from instructors. She has great hands or great talent in styling and cutting hair. I also got my hair colored and helped me choose a color which suited my hair type. Just to add to this she also gives a great head massage. I would like to recommend her to everyone but she is graduating soon so book fast. Overall I love the place and would love to keep visiting them.

My mom has been going here for over 20 years. The students do a great job, and Joe is a great leader.

The two working reception this past Friday were a delight. Quite frankly, I left glowing after my interaction with them, lol.

Cassie is an amazing hairstylist! She took my vision and made it even better. I hated all the other stylists I’ve tried they made my hair ugly. But Cassie made me love my hair again.

I had a haircut and color appointment in MC College, Calgary on 27th march. I had mentioned in the online appointment the I want a blue balayage. A day before i got a call from them with the questions about my hair type and etc. I had initially took an appointment for 11 am but on the call she told me to come early at 10am.i said ok.on d day of appointment i was on time and they said they couldn’t find my appointment. Then they said we cannot do the color becoz we do not have this color in stock. I cudnt help it said ok. Then i said i hav also booked for haircut. Then they appointed a total novice student. Today i did my hair color from somewhere else, they straightened my hair and now i see the haircut that mc college did. A real bad experience there. The lady in the reception was totally not interested in providing any service.

Brooklyn was very attentive and accommodating. She made sure I was comfortable through out the process, that the amount of pressure she was using was good and explained what she was doing the entire process. I will definitely be recommending her for a body wrap and facial to all of my friends. I felt very relaxed. I loved it. Shanice made sure that I was comfortable while getting my lashes done. She was very focused and took the time to make sure they were perfect. I have received many compliments on my lashes.

I took my daughter for spa treatments and a haircut. Right from the reception desk-the lady at the desk was polite, chirpy and courteous, making sure that we started our day on the right foot.
We were then greeted by Radhika, who followed the steps to ensure that my daughter did not have a medical condition.then she briefed us about the facials, followed by a facial. My daughters face had a beautiful glow, post facial. Radhika you were amazing!
The pedicure was done by the lovely and courteous Katlyn. She was thorough, gentle and detailed. Heather-Supervisor, was constantly on her feet making rounds and diligently checking the work being administered by the fabulous students.
Kal-was a pleasant surprise. Fresh new student but confident, clear and courteous and detailed. Did a very good job in Manicure.
All these young students are interactive, polite and the bestis that they know what they are doing and are confident too.
A special mention goes to Nadia (i hope i got the name right!) for believing that i will not run off with her phone charger and heartfelt thanks for sharing it!

I got a balayage and cut with Kovi and she was amazing. Super attentive and knew what she was doing. I love the new cut she gave me, my hair is voluminous and feels fresh. She also gave product recommendations. She’s friendly and easy going and I had a great time chatting with her!

I went in to get a balayage, as well as cut a few inches off my hair. Calista Nortcliffe did my hair and it was incredible! She was super professional and was helpful in determining some after care products. I will definitely be going back and highly recommended visiting her! Super affordable and friendly service all around!

I got a spiral perm done by Celestina on Friday, November 25. What a fantastic experience! I have very long hair, and so it was quite the task to get my hair permed. I was at the salon for close to 6 hours, and Celestina was professional and diligent the entire time! She did a fantastic job, and I am so so SO happy with the results!:)

Honestly it was a horrible experience. I asked for a trim and maybe shaping and I left with 5 inches off the length because it would “look healthier” when I said multiple times like I’m not super comfy with that yet and did explain to the student I was pretty traumatized from previous haircuts. I even was crying at the till and uncomfortably was being slid the machine to pay. I don’t blame the student at all as the instructor pretty well said cut it off and did not let me say no, even though I argued it twice. I understand it’s a learning opportunity but I came for a colour and a trim.

The dye job wasn’t what I wanted and I understand completely that they are learning and she didn’t know how to do it, but I do believe she should’ve asked more questions to an instructor when it came to pulling roots down.

The 2 positive stars are for the cleanliness and the shampoo/scalp massage. Those were the only two perks of this 5 hour date experience.

Omg Cassie was so amazing! She kept such a good conversation going and did such an amazing job with my hair and took the time to make sure it looked amazing. Such an amazing and relaxing experience
