Love the staff! And most of all the affordability. Everyone there was super nice, clean environment and made me feel right at home. Jill the director made sure I was well taken care of when I came in for nails.

My daughter took their esthetics program here! Staff was friendly, helpful, supportive and knowledgeable dealing with how to apply for funding and grants. Her being a young Métis student, MC College helped get her start in a career she loves to do!

I’m a student at MC and it’s a great school! It’s a school with a lot of customers so the amount of experience you get it amazing. Ocean is a wealth of knowledge and such an asset to the school!

Mc College is Awesome. All the student hairstylists are super friendly and easy to work with and the supervisors always make sure the stylists do the best job they can possibly do. Plus their prices are super affordable. Definitely recommend.

Currently a student here and my experience so far has been extremely delightful. The teachers give extremely helpful advice for when we're in the salon working with clients in all ways you can think of. The area makes it super accessible to everything you can think of. Overall, I'm glad I chose MC.

Hey my name is Aaron boehme I've had my hair dyed pink many times an now I drive a school bus an really think my students on my bus would love it to see their bus driver with pink hair again just have no way of getting to red deer as we live in clive tees area

This is a great place.before you go there you should take the time.to understand that the hairstylist are all Students in training.great things take time.beauty takes time and patience. Besides their are teachers with many years experience. Yes some things to go wrong but always they correct it.been there many times I love it

I recently got a facial done here and it was great! The student did very well and i was satisfied all around! Would recommend:)

I attended the esthetician program and it was the worst thing I could have done. I spent 15grand on the program to have teachers who didn’t know what they were doing and not learned anything. You would think teachers who have to teach things would know how to do it. Example eyelash extensions, my one teacher was AFRAID of eyes.and the other one hadn’t practiced it since she went through the schooling. The makeup training was literally watching YouTube videos from makeup in the 80’s… I will never reccomend this program to anyone and now I am stuck with 15000 debt and no skills from the whole program. The tool and products they gave us I would never use on anyone or any client because they were so terrible and cheap. Coming to this school and doing this program is my biggest regret. Please do not attend this school.

I had Pedicure done there and it was amazing. The girls were very friendly and did exactly what I wanted. They fit me in a timely fashion. Everyone was happy and in a great mood the energy in the studio was awesome I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends

I enrolled here and from the moment I got there the school itself is super unorganized. End dates and leave of absences are constantly changing. They push students out who aren’t ready and I can say myself that I should not have been graduated. I haven’t been able to get in touch with the school for help at all even though they told me if I needed anything I was more than welcome to ask. I feel as though I wasted my money and time going to MC. I’ve heard of some of the things the staff go through and that’s probably why nobody ever stays and why it’s understaffed. It’s sad to see my friends who are still in school struggling with the same problems I did. It’s unacceptable how we are treated and how we are trained. We spent a lot of money and time to be there. I know a lot of people went into debt to be there I was one of them and I can’t get an apprenticeship cause of how poorly trained I am. Would not recommend. Spend the extra money and go to Delmar.

Absolutely awesome. Went in, had foilage done, looked at it for a day and decided it was just too light. Phoned, rebooked and got in the next and Bam.nailed it. Great energetic place, very professional and just fun. Would recommend them to many.
They will listen if you have an issue

Super impressed with how well the stylist, Emily, listened to what I wanted. She did an excellent job! Cheryl and Lindsay were very supportive and helpful instructors! The vibe is friendly and there is a definite sense of teamwork. Highly recommend!

I have mixed feelings about MC college.
The salon email doesn’t seem to get answered very promptly (and sometimes not at all.)
The students I’ve interacted with there have all been very sweet.
The same day I received a gel polish manicure there, the polish started peeling off on multiple nails. (As well, the girl doing my nails had told me the colour I had selected was opaque, but it wasn’t, and I still had to pay for it.)
The lady at the desk (on a previous visit) was very short-tempered with the man in front of me.
My experience getting my haircut there was fantastic. My hairdresser Trinity Stevens did an incredible job.

I have been going there for many years and have always come out feeling great about my hairstyle and love the people that work there.

My first time to the college and it was an awesome experience

Levi did an awesome job coloring my hair and Tess did an awesome job cutting it.

I was so impressed with how the students worked together and supported each other and how they would jump in to assist one another.

I would so recommend others to go to this college to get your hair done.

The girl that did my nails was nice and she tried really hard to majestic my nails look good.
She noticed the nail polish had clumps and hair/fuzzier in it. Yet she didn't tell me or try to start over. She told her instructor after finishing when her instructor asked about why two of them looked off. She didn't try to fix them after either. I didn't have time to complain or get them redone because I got a phone call saying my daughter was sick at school and needing to be picked up. The gel polish only lasted a couple days and one by one they peeled off in one piece. Quite disappointing actually because I never get my nails done and they couldn't even last one week. This was also the first time I got gel polish on my nails.

With my new haircut i feel confident to pursue my dream of sitting at home and watching tv until it grows long again, thanks be to Lindsy A.game of thrones binging here I come
