We have an exceptional experience working with the service department at McDonald Nissan. Andrew went above to help us process a warranty claim on a part that was purchased from a different Nissan dealer. From the time we arrived to a few days later when we eventually picked the car up, the entire team went above and beyond to keep us informed and get our vehicle back on the road. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a fair group of people to work with.

Absolutely the best vehicle purchase experience I’ve ever had! Paul McDonald, himself, and John Rhode listened to my wishes and took the time to find me the perfect vehicle within my price range. Showing me a great range of options. Both were welcoming, professional, and thorough. They offered for me to contact either directly at anytime with any questions, even outside of business hours. They even provided me with a ride home while my car was being fixed, and then picked me up and drove my car back to me when it was ready. Continuously great service! They were running behind but made sure my vehicle was done by the end of the day which was greatly appreciated. I got good prices on new sets of winter and summer tires and was offered a free car wash the next time I come by since they were not able to fit it in that day. Of the various Nissan dealerships that have serviced my vehicle, I’ve had the best experiences at McDonald, I definitely recommend!

Went to express lane for a quick oil change on our newer vehicle. Oil change went well and they did all that is expected as fast as they could. Interaction with service advisor wasn’t as efficient. Didn’t enjoy my experience this time.

Really great job. Kelly was awesome to work with, very knowledgeable and supportive, and excited to find a deal that works for you. I didn’t feel pressured at all and I feel I made the right decision. I was able to ask many questions, learn about what vehicle would fit for me, and did not have to sacrifice any features/options for price. Kelly is super easy going, really kind, and wants you to have the best experience and make the best choice. I went with my kicks because it checked every box AND have the added bonus of an awesome dealership to work with. I’m excited to continue to work with them in the future.

Edit to add: also what car salesman gets more excited and personalized your experience than Kelly? He thought of every detail, even saving a pink sales sign for my “I just bought a car” photo. So kind!

I took my 2013 Rogue into this dealership to get my winter tires put on. They did not come with rims, so the service department put the tires on rims for me. I proceeded to drive my car for almost 2 weeks before becoming concerned about a wobble. I realized one of my back tires was not mounted properly at all, there was a gap between the tire and the rim. After asking the service department to take a look at it when I came back in for other repairs, they told me they had checked it out and found nothing wrong. I looked again and the tire was still dangerously mounted, just as it was before. Clearly, they did not check or if they had, they did not do so properly. This was extremely scary for me, as something like this could have resulted in my car flipping and/or causing a fatal accident. They proceeded to remount my tire at no charge but then gave me a quote for the tire rod replacement - something I definitely did not need done before my tire was incorrectly mounted. The gull of them to quote me for a something that was entirely their fault is appalling. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I had an amazing experience leasing a car here! Everyone who works there was very nice and extremely helpful. Kelly sold me my car and made the experience very great and enjoyable! We are from Calgary and drove down to get the vehicle, however, Kelly and Celine made the process very simple and were very accommodating during this sale. We were able to accomplish everything over the phone and e-mail aside from the final paperwork. Additionally, Kelly answered all of my questions and continues to answer my questions now that I have the car and the sale is over. We are so glad that we decided to buy from this dealership as everyone was so nice and it was worth it.

This was my first time buying from a dealership and it was an amazing and painless experience! Dean Hopkins and Kelly Blais were both professional and fantastic to work with. Neither tried to sell me anything I didn't need and they were never pushy. Kelly was an amazing salesman who gave me all the info I needed to make the best choice for my needs, I have 4 dogs and needed something large enough to fit my wild beasts. He really went above and beyond with everything! Dean got me the best deal with financing and made sure I knew exactly what I was getting and made sure I understood everything before I signed my life away. Hands down the best experience I could have asked for! If you're looking for a vehicle and aren't sure on what to buy I would recommend going and seeing Kelly and Dean at McDonald Nissan. All the guys were friendly, helpful, and clearly well educated on the vehicles they sell. Rob's service was exceptional. I was impressed how much information he knew offhand as my mother, and I bombarded him with questions. Out of all the dealerships I went to Nissan was the only one where the salesman came to drive the car with us. Also involved in my experience was Archie who I really appreciated as it was clear he wanted to ensure I got the best deal available.

Plus Dean, the finance guy bought me flowers to go with my new Nissan, doesn't get much better than that does it?

Poor service at the parts department. I called for a side mirror and they could not look up any part without a VIN. Unfortunately I was at work and did not have this information available. With any service at all they would of offered to look it up for me as the vehicle WAS sold and serviced there.

Went to the express today, no vehicles in line, they did have me in and out in in about 45 mins for just a oil change, which is a bit longer then I was expecting, still not TERRIBLE.but not great.

The price was MUCH higher then what I was told on the phone, even while giving exact specs of the vehicle via phone.

There was alot of profanity I could hear while the staff were conversing, they didn't consult me when adding things to my vehicle and charging me (washer fluid, it wasn't pricey but I would have still liked a choice as I wasn't very low).

I'd give a 0 if I could. My husband was waiting for 3.5 hours to get a oil change and tire rotation done. Only to be told after 3.5 hours that they did a inspection and balance? Initially booked on the online website so they didn't even have him on the books. Then to be told their online website doesn't work? Then fix your website AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Can guarantee we will NEVER EVER be back.

ALSO, to have other paying customers tell reception that the dealership was VERY UNORGANIZED. Embarrassing.

I purchased a 2016 Ford Edge in September unseen as I live in Calgary and they made the process effortless. I messaged them at 10pm on a Saturday night and received an immediate text response. I was floored at the communication and the condition of the vehicle. It was mint and impeccably detailed. They gave detailed pictures and answered all of our questions promptly and efficiently. The finance department stopped at nothing to get us the best rate possible and were a pleasure to deal with. I would 100% recommend this dealership.

Having had several very good experiences in a row with this dealership, I gave McDonald the chance to quote some new winter booties for our 2006 X-Trail and they beat the other quotes. So off we went to get them installed, plus get an oil change and a free alignment check. Sadly, after agreeing to the alignment as it was out, some terrible luck occurred involving old rusty suspension components and we were facing a rather large repair bill, plus we had to leave it there over the weekend. Bill King, our trusty service advisor, bent over backwards to mitigate our suffering. We got to drive a 2021 Rogue for the weekend and the service department manager, Kevin, helped to make things less painful for our wallet. We live in Pincher Creek, and it has always been worth the drive to get our little bus serviced here. Not that we have not supported some local shops, but since we come to Lethbridge for other reasons, we will continue to patronize McDonald Nissan when we can and highly recommend them. And no, they didn't pay me to say this!:)

I recently purchased a used truck from McDonald Nissan and because I was in Edmonton I asked the sales person if there was "ANY" cosmetic damage to the exterior of the vehicle and I was assured in was like new with no scratches, dings etc. I even had a conversation with the owner I also asked him if there was anything wrong with the vehicle, specially the exterior. Again I was assured the vehicle was like new - nothing wrong with it. I wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong as I had never bought something without seeing it first. Since I had reassurance from the owner there was nothing wrong I agreed to purchase the vehicle and they delivered it to me. When it was delivered I looked it over and it all seems fine accept later I noticed a rock chip in the front window and a 5-6" scratch in one of the rims. I contacted them and all they would pay for is to fix the chip in the window. Needless to say they don't stand behind their words! Do not buy a used vehicle from these people as they are not trust worthy and will tell you anything to get the sale.

In reference to the service department. Folks are nice enough, but the service department is clearly a cash cow for the dealership, and they milk it as such. Expect to pay Big-time $$$ on every repair. But I think it's also a Nissan issue. Design flaws on my 2004 Armada have parts constantly going, $3000+ quote to fix the heater, because every part down the line is somehow broken. Don't ever get an exhaust manifold issue, because doing both sides might cost you another 3-4 grand, and it's a common issue. Instead of dealers helping you on the costs of fixing, in hopes you might buy a new Nissan from them some day, they cash in on the Lemon they know they sell. So very disappointed. Nice truck, but I didn't buy a Ferrari. Parts should be reasonable. I have a 2005 Tahoe as well. Similar vehicles. Stuff rarely brakes, and it's cheaper to fix, because Chevrolet designed it better.

I had a excellent experience purchasing a used vehicle from salesman Kelly Blais. Being from out of town I asked Kelly to be my eyes and look over the vehicle. I have to say he was 100% honest with me and did his very best to give me a genuine description. He even worked on his day off to try to make a deal happen for me.

When I arrived for a test drive, Kelly had the vehicle and possible sale procedures prepared for me. He had gone the extra mile which really showed. He gave me his full attention (even taking his phone off the hook while in his office). I never felt any sales pressure or as though I was “just buying used” at any time during my experience. Lastly, there was a small issue found during our test drive and without hesitation they expedited the part required and had it all fixed before I was even aware there was a problem. I would highly recommend McDonald Nissan and Kelly.

Brought my truck in to put new tires on and balance them. Shortly after I got a call that their mechanic broke a wheel stud. I figured that seems pretty hard to do but it happens. Was not happy when I was told I would get charged at full rate to fix his mistake. I took off tires by hand and torque to 110ft/lbs a couple days before and had no issues. I ended up paying for half after talking to the supervisor but I should not have to argue do this. Overall just because it's a dealership does not mean your getting better service.

My experience was so easy. I contacted them, told them what I was looking for, they got back to me the next day with options and I picked the one that will work best for me. I really appreciate them taking the time to go through all of the features of the vehicle very thoroughly so I know how to set everything up the way I want it. Nice to know they also can bring in and install accessories like ladder racks, rubber floor mats, and tons of other things you might want or need.

I shopped for a little over 2 months looking for the perfect deal on a used car. Looking for a good range of features, but didn't want to buy something out of my price range. Other dealerships kept pushing me into a brand new vehicles to get the features I wanted, and most were absolutely painful to get any numbers from. Amy was quick, honest, straightforward. Gave me the price sheet, didn't feed me scripted lines, and didn't ever hassle me when I needed some time to think about it.
It was a great buying experience and I hope I get to buy my next car from her.

I just Bought 2017 Honda Pilot from these guys and it was an awesome experience for me as I never saw the car before as I live in Calgary and there are in Lethbridge. I was scared at first since I never bought car from dealerships before, but they met my all expectations.

This was over a year ago but I thought I should share. After checking the vin of my vehicle they saw that my vehicle was rebuilt status. The guy just started talking about how he would never buy a rebuilt and asking me why I even bought a rebuilt, making me really uncomfortable infront of everyone. I've not had a major issue with my vehicle even though it's rebuilt. It was just very unpleasant and unprofessional. Never going there for service again.
