This location is a hit & miss.

We find the morning service not great.the food is cold, and the buns are so dried out for the McMuffins. The staff are not friendly during the drive-thru.

When we go in the evenings, the service is always so much more better. The food is prepared properly, and is warm. Staff are always cheerful.

Service was good but there was no toilet paper in the men’s toilet.staff are not checking the toilets properly

Third visit to this McDonalds. Drive thru sucks, never gets order right. Don't leave the window until you inspect the bag! They probably screwed up.

If you're getting take out inside the store good luck. They would have served probably 10 drive through customers before they get around to doing your order. And there's also a chance they forget about your order too. If I can give negative 5 stars I will.

Never write reviews but I think this is necessary. Food is always great here but when customers tell what was missing in the bag and request for coke with no ice. Guess what, the employees think we are just throwing tantrums while its our right because we paid for it. That's exactly what I heard in my own language while the employees were closing the window at 10: 15 pm. Extremely disappointed!

I ordered for a delivery about an hour ago and it just arrived. Not only half of the large fries I ordered were missing there was burnt pieces. There was also burnt pieces in the small fries. And to rub salt on the wound I only received 5 nuggets instead of 6. This store just gives McDonalds a bad name.

I don’t know what to say.what happened McDonald’s? Food used to be pretty good many years ago, every time I slip and order, I regret it, when will I learn it’s just not going to be the way it used to be. Most of the time, I can’t even get through a burger, near the end, just forcing it down. If you don’t start eating the fries immediately after you receive them, they just get limp and unappealing. And for all that, you pay an arm and a leg… two people eating at McDonald’s shouldn’t cost around $30

Food was quick and fresh - turned from 5 stars into a 1 star rating after my last few orders have been stale. I live 1 minute from mcdonalds and ordered it through skip, the food was SO soggy and stale when it got to my house. Considering how close I live, that means they either cooked gross old food, or they let the bag sit there for way too long

Edit: every time I go here I have to wait 5-10 min for food, and they always get something wrong. Always ask for habanero sauce and they either don't give any or give a different sauce. Get it together

Poor service, even the drive thru was open. Employees said its close. When i went 2nd time, then they gave me food

I had a really rough morning at the Cross today.
On my way home I placed my order for comfort food in the drive thru with a lady who had a wonderfully soothing voice. She made me feel better immediately just by listening to her speak. Surprisingly my food came reasonably quick, it was hot, and was exactly how I ordered it. Thank you!

Their crew did not even use hand gloves on making their burgers. They’re making it with their bare hands! So disgusting!

Worst drive thru in the city. Never get food at a window always sitting and waiting over 10 mins and having to ask why I've been forgotten. Fries come out cold so I know my food has just been sitting there. I get it things get busy but stop sending every car in drive thru to park and you knight be able to keep your orders straight

I went there in night.i really liked the service.there was one guy named “moussa” really made us feel special.his energy was high and he was continuously giving us smile that brought smile on our face.thanks buddy.keep up the good work

Janine made a mistake on my coffee order and I asked her politely if she could please fix it. She then took my coffee cup away from me aggressively. She came back with the same cup she left it with and almost tossed it at me. I asked her if I could get another cup, she repeated the same aggressive behavior. I got no apology from her for messing up my order or for wasting my time. Very awful costumer service.

Very poor service, went out for a late night nuggets. 1) The young lady at the window messed up my order and charged me for a full meal when I only asked for nuggets and smoothie. 2) I asked for 2 sauces and she only gave me one for 12 peace’s of nuggets. I went back to get my second sauce and she charged me $0.50cent for the extra sauce that’s supposed to have come with the 2 year of 6 peace nuggets. I paid for a full meal that I did not ask for, I did not get any ketchup or mayonnaise. I guess I was supposed to eat my food dry. Yup

Honestpy i have never seen a mcdonalds slower. I irder 1 cheese burger and im waiting in the parking stall for 10 minutes. So much for fast food. Aweful

Sat for 30 minutes waiting for my order. They push everyone to sit in the reserved parking to get their numbers higher of “people served” but all they do is make customers unhappy. And they continue to move people forward even without stalls to park in.

I had to wait ten minutes for this bagel and pay extra for cream cheese. In what world is this an acceptable amount of cream cheese?

The quarter pounder with cheese is very greasy, and the fries are cold. There was a cockroach on the tray of the drink machine. When you order at the kiosk it is always out of paper. There is a glitch with the machine, and I received a double instead. I told them to switch it, and the patty was extra greasy, and falling apart. The Filipino women recycled the double to make the quarter pounder. She then put extra cheese on it. I asked for the price difference back and she can’t do simple math. She said the difference was five cents. I asked her to refund the whole thing, and ring it in again. The price difference was actually $1.50. Previously when I ate here there was a hair in my hamburger. The tables are all filthy here as well.

Everytime we go to the drive through they park you for the simplest items. Today was a 10 minute wait for a cheeseburger

They take orders, you pay and then they make you wait in a spot instead of at the window.it is bad because the spots aren't big enough and they send too many people to park. I hate this McDonald's

Takes the ‘fast’ out of fast food. Always a long wait with hungry kids in the car. Must be horribly understaffed.

I believe the whole kitchen staff needs to be re-trained. Every time at this McDonald’s not matter who I bring or time of day I arrive, when any person makes an order and asks for some sort of change to the sandwhich, the kitchen staff fully focus’ on the “change” that’s been made almost too a fault. If I ask for no pickles on a burger, there will be no pickles on it, but will also not have any other toppings on the burger and now I am left with a plain burger. Another example my wife likes pickles on the chicken sandwiches, when she asks for the pickles on the sandwhich they will only put pickles on there and leave everything else off. Happens everytime I go and I hear a lot of other people have the same complaint.

I had to give them something as it doesn't allow me any minus stars. Just because the drivethru was busy they stopped taking orders at the till this afternoon. Lack of management and bad customer service.

(I wish, I could give no STARS at all to this location) My nieces and I went to McDonald's today in the evening and we got the worst service ever by the MANAGER. Her name is MANCHANDANDEEP KAUR. She works at 5205 Ellerslie Rd SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 1X2. We asked for a breakfast deal and she told us in a very unprofessional manner that they don’t serve breakfast in the evening. We asked her if she could change the sandwich or bread with something else. She totally refused to do anything. She didn’t give us any other options or anything. Instead of solving the problem, she completely ignored us and started taking orders from other customers. It seemed like she was misusing her position by showing us her attitude. Other customers were witnessing the incident too. I would like to say here that those kinds of people do not deserve managerial positions. A manager has to know how to handle the situation and how to provide good customer service so that his/her employees can learn those qualities from them. A manager like MANCHANDANDEEP KAUR can not bring more business. I think, she should go to school and learn the qualities of a good manager before working at your restaurant. I am not sure if you guys will do anything about it or not but this can be very important for a business to check how their employees are working.

If you like waiting for your food in the parking lot, this is the mcdonalds for you. They care more about moving the line along than actually give you your food.

I thought McDonald's was fast food. Yet everytime I come no matter the time of day we are all pushed to park and wait for our food I have never seen another McDonald's ran this way. Management is obviously lacking

Orders always wrong every time I order from here. Would never walk into this establishment with all the issues I have on skip the dish. Travel 1km west and you’ll get to the best McDonald’s in the city. Stay away from this location.

The food is prepared in the standard mcway, however, I was once told to leave to restaurant when I brought my dog in. No signage indicating dogs weren't allowed, just another customer complaining.

Best McDonald's in Edmonton. The staff are always super friendly, I've never had a messed up order, and the food has always been hot and cooked perfectly. If I'm craving McDonald's, I go out of my way to this specific location.

My curbside order disappeared in the app and the instore receipt listed it as a table order before the order disappeared for them also. Still going to use it again next time but something to keep in mind.

Probably one of the better McDonald’s around town. For some reason their food also tastes much fresher than some of the other McDonalds locations. Staff are very friendly and the inside of the McDonald’s looks very modern and trendy to be honest!

Edit: went inside today and it was so clean! Service was great. I ordered through a person because I can't stand those machines. Previous review still stands though, hate parking if the orders especially for fries and burgers (understand chicken products) I really appreciate the cleanliness of this location, makes your breakfast better when tables aren't dirty etc.

Please stop parking all orders. If I'm waiting for a cheese burger and fries you have big problems. So ridiculous. I'm not sure if this new park every order thing is sent from head office since sooo many locations are doing it and it's so dumb

Overall a much better location than most McDonald's. Every time I went in the restaurant it was very clean and the service level excellent. Drive through experiences so far were great also. Too bad I live closer to the one by Parsons because I'd only come to this location if I lived closer.

Decided to give this place a try and now I understand why this place has such a low rating.
Ordered a big mac meal and hamburger and when I got home the hamburger wasn't packed properly ketchup was everywhere in the bag and the fries were stale and cold.

This mcdonalds never gets my order right when they send me to one of the reserved spots. 9 times out of 10 it's someone elses order or something is missing. This service here is actually horrible.

Food was good but, the lady certainly had difficulty understanding and getting my order correctly. I ordered 4 items with only one medium fries, but what I got was 4 medium fries along with the 4 items. I had more fries than I could eat and had to unnecessarily pay for that!

This mcdonald is the worst place to be
We order food for stay but none of the table in the dining area wear clean.asked one of the staff to clean before they have the meal ready nobody bothered. Don't ever go to this mcdonald. Everytime we come @this location of McDonald there is a problem either with meals or not getting the order right. And know this.so i finally decided to put my review.

The experience was and is ok.but why is this location noticeably more expensive than others? My breakfast meal is 1.50 more here than other stores (westmount)

I want here earlier today and when I was there I waited 5 minutes to order my food standing there awardly then when I had my food the quality was soo bad the fries tasted like raw potatoes and the burger was undercook and really bland with no flavour it was like eating bread edited to fix typos

This McDonald's is by my house but I've stopped going. There are not enough English speaking employees and they have never once gotten the order correct. The service is terrible and the brand new restaurant is always dirty.don't waste your time here, head to the one on 23rd

Absolutely the worst McDonald's in Edmonton i will dive out if my way to go down Ellerslie to that one so i avoid this place

So slow at everything, drive thru is the worst. They always send you to the parking lot to wait even when you order just 1 item

We were hungry after an afternoon run I look around only 2 tables were occupied but it took our orders about 10 mins the crew did not even explained the reason for the delay we only order 6 nuggets meal and 1 hamburger it shouldn't take that long we never experienced poor service like this before
