Shout out to NADIA from the payment window who helped me out with the McDonald’s app and took the time to explain how to use it. With so many apps and apps for everything I get extremely confused and it was nice she took the time to teach me so I can easily use it in the future! Thank you Nadia!
This is the slowest McDonald's in Calgary and they are always making mistakes with orders. Out of 10 orders I have received 8 with something wrong. This has been on going for the past year, do better mcdonald's!
Worst McDonald ever. Worst customer service they always mess up The orders. I wanted to add habanero sauce in my junior chicken first they charge me for sauce and forgot to add sauce in my burger and when I asked them they offered sauce pack and when I refused they took my burger back emptied the whole sauce in the burger and gave back to me. Atleast have the decency to remake the burger if it’s your mistake.
Today I picked 2 meal combos from this location and the drinks (apple and orange juice) came diluted with water. They mixed water in the juices. I could tell just by looking at the pale colors and obviously taste was horrendous. Tasted nothing like juice and full of water. I usually never go to this location because of poor service and it proved once again today that how bad they are.
It was way pathetic experience. This store is one of the unprofessional store. DO NOT EVER VISIT. We are living nearby so every day before going office or going out we are visiting this store and asking for coffee with some extra suger and the staff never listen this and give us same ordinary order. It has happened almost 15 times means every day. They know that once people pass drive though, they won’t come back, whatever we give they are not coming back again the same time and really people don’t have time to come back and we end up getting the product which we don’t like in taste and spoiling our mood. Pathetic store. Choose another store, I will tell this to all my neighbours and friends.
They have so much of staff I don’t know why they can’t manage the things. Yesterday I went to get happy meal and they forget to put the fries. When I came home and gave it to my daughter she started crying that fires are missing. Today again I went to McDonald’s and I order one junior chicken meal with fries and drink, three poutine, one happy meal and cold coffee. I told the girl that last time my fires were missing in the happy meal and said I wanna check happy meal if there is fries today and there were but my mistake was that I didn’t check it with the junior chicken meal. Same mistake again there wasn’t any fries. Why can’t they read the complete order? It’s really frustrating every time. Another thing, their drinks place was so messy and wet my 2 year old daughter fell there and there wasn’t any wet sign. Then I asked the person working there to put the wet sign. They were also out of lids on the drinks counter and we came without any lid on our drink.
Edited Downgraded to 1 star as this morning I needed 1 cheeseburger for my kid. I could not get one because they don't serve burgers in the morning, only Breakfast. What's the point to go to a burger place if you can't get a burger at 10: 45 am? Deleted the app and they lost a client forever.
Went there to get a French vanilla latte and they gave me the coffee that was sitting since morning and was not even fresh. Complained them about that and went back and they gave me coffee that was cold and didn’t even taste like French Vanilla latte. Worst place to go. Not going to visit again. Atleast you should fix your mistake when customer ask for it!
This McD's is alright. I live close by so I usually stop here for a quick grab and go. I usually always get a Double Quarter Pounder BLT with no bun. Somehow no bun often means no bacon, lettuce and/or tomato. Every. Single. Time. I've ordered a few times with no modifications and it's right. But as soon as I request no bun, they always leave off the bacon, lettuce, and/or tomato. I request no bun because I simply like it better. No gluten allergy or other bun/bread related concerns. I've received so many free redo's that it's kind of become frustrating. Any other location can get my order right no problem. But this location can't ever seem to get it right. How hard is it to make a Double Quarter Pounder BLT with no bun. If I didn't want bacon, lettuce and/or tomato, I would have just ordered a Double Quarter Pounder. Seriously? How do you screw it up every time I order a Double Quarter Pounder BLT with no bun from this location?
Food was good, but had a pretty bad customer experience where they messed up my food. Waited about 5 minutes in the awkward section of the drive thru, when delivered, I asked “is there ketchup in the bag” manager said yes.
There was no ketchup in the bag, neither the extra patty that I ordered for my dog. I don’t like being lied to, that was most frustrating. If you forgot ketchup that’s ok, but don’t tell me there’s ketchup in the bag when there’s none. I could tell she was unsure when she said yes, but felt it would be easiest to just lie rather than say she didn’t know. I don’t like being lied to as a customer.
When I returned to get the extra patty and ketchup, the cashier was quick to get me the ketchup, but the patty was not prioritized. I left after a few minutes frustrated and will not be back at this location.
I was in there with my friend the atmosphere was good the food wasn't bad it was all right before McDonald's you'd have to give it a five they even have a side counter where you going to get your pop they don't give it to you I found it pretty good so I give everything a pie
AWFUL customer service. Went thru the drive thru and said “I would like two French vanilla lattes please”. Not only did the worker only put 1 in the order, she didn’t ask if we needed anything else and we had to order a hash brown at the first window. First window didn’t verify our order correctly so we were unaware there was only 1 ordered. Got to the second window and only got 1 French vanilla and the window was slammed on us. When the worker came back and we told her we wanted 2, instead of offering to get us another and take payment, she argued with us that there’s only 1 on the screen. Okay? I don’t care what’s on the screen if it’s not what we wanted, we are offering to PAY for a second one. The customer service at this store is so awful, these workers clearly hate what they do and hate interacting with people. The management needs to be brought into question at this point for not doing a decent job at motivating the team and encouraging positive customer interaction.
Very unprofessional staff. Not just one or two guys. I have consistently experienced mid behaviour from the staff at this place, both when I was there as a customer as well as as a pick up driver. The staff needs some good training on manners.or May be even the management needs training
I ordered only one item and they couldn't it right Poor management at this one. Asked for an Americano w/ one sugar. I confirmed at the pick up window and asked the guy giving it to me, " "Does this have one sugar? " he replied, "Yes it does". He lied.it didnt.won't go to this location without worrying about the food.
Consistently slow service, wether it be busy or I’m the only one waiting for my food, it takes a MINIMUM of 10 minutes to be served which defeats the purpose of “fast food”. Not only that but the team here all lack any customer service skills. No manners, no conversation, nothing (aside from the younger woman with the braids who needs an insane attitude adjustment and can’t talk to you without rolling her eyes or always having a passive aggressive tone in her voice). Somebody hands you the food and they immediately walk off before you can even say thank you. Either the management sucks at motivating a team or these people need to consider jobs far away from customer service. Aside from all of that, I don’t know where the man who worked mainly in the mornings/afternoons who wore the white dress shirt went, but he provided the absolute best hospitality and I hope for this locations sake, he didn’t quit. He was amazing and kind.
Exceptional customer service, manager was friendly and caring and kristen came and checked on us and made sure everything was up to standard.this was our first time visiting a mcdonald’s in calgary and they went above and beyond. Mehnaz was very polite and made sure our food came out super fast.pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend this location!
Staff were more the rude when I received my food, very unprofessional. Most certainly will not be returning to this location and letting other people know as I'm a small business owner in the area.
Everything was superb from the moment we walked in. Super clean restaurant. Greeted by Mehnaz and she was so friendly and sweet. Once we got our food Kristan came over and checked on us he definitely gave above and beyond service. Highly recommend this McDonald’s & dining in here!
One of highly unprofessional, unethical macdonald's in whole Calgary. I work hard to pay for my bills and my coffee. I would just like highlight I'm not begging for my coffee neither im asking for free. The way supervisor came up and treated was not acceptable. It is highly insulting. Pathetic customer service, they don't appreciate customer at all. Rather than resolving the issue nicely, they decided to upset my morning. I'm highly upset from today's experience and the racist comment made by the supervisor was not done! This all happened just over $1 coffee!

Worst experience ever their managers (Trudy & Christina) need to be more professional they don't even know how to behave with their customers. Firstly they told me to wait for my order at last Window and after 10 minutes I hot my food and I noticed that I was missing one sandwich but they didn't even come back to ask me If everything is okay or not I was waiting there and one young girl come in to ask me what happend and I told her that I am missing my sandwich and the managers behave like it was my fault and christina was rude with me and I got my sandwich but she close the window on my face like it was my fault and she is doing me a favor.
The worst service I have ever had. Would have rated 0 and giving 1 as it is the lowest. Went there with family at the drive thru, after the purchase asked for the receipt and mentioned it's in the bag and when l looked for it I couldn't find it in the bag. Asked cashier for the receipt again, I could see the cashier walking around asking for help. After sometime a lady comes SHOUTING and YELLING asking to go get the receipt from the dine in reception area if I need one, who claims to be the MANAGER. We refused to go inside and waited at the drive through, after waiting for about 10 minutes he ended up printing one. Every clients time is precious and as a consumer I have the basic right to get a receipt after the purchase.
Being a manager/ employee she should have politely asked us to get the recipet from inside, rather than insulting a customer
Consistently slow, don't curbside order here. Had to wait 20 min! For a 20pc chicken nugget and a coke, in the end I went inside and lady said oh yeah I was just coming out. Nuggets were cold. Not the first time either.
I took a sip of my black coffee about 10 min after getting it and thought I was going to die. Burned the entire inside of my mouth. Turn down your coffee warmers.
It was impressive when they first opened, everything felt brand new and exciting and i guess that’s starting to wear off, we used to come here for their chocolate croissants all the time but lately we’ve been getting rock hard left overs, and they should have a system to keep track of quality of what they’re serving.we usually do dine in, we haven’t done their drive-thru service but over all their speed and service is so-so, dining area is pretty clean everytime we come, and friendliness of the staff.well some are friendly some i wonder how they even got hired.
There were 2 girls on drive threw tuesday 17 march 2020 at 10: 45pm and they told me that they can’t help me with my order and ask me to leave because there is time going up for my order.it was a order of happy meal and chinken habinaro they did not accept my coupon.very bad service by the employee and the manger they should teach them how to serve a customer
Fast and efficient service. Many healthy food choices at the Sky Landing Location of McDonalds. Very affordable prices at the nearest location at 4019-Country Hills Boulevard in Northeast Calgary.
The freshest mcdonalds I've ever had! Especially with their breakfast products! Always enjoyable! The staff is also super sweet there and always really welcoming:)
They do a fantastic job of making bagels in the morning. Ingredients are well proportioned. However. If you try to do use the all day breakfast for a bagel for dinner, it's probably not going to come correctly. Everytime I've ordered a bagel outside of breakfast hours it's been made incorrectly at least once. And you wait so long between bagels being made the side is always cold by the time you go to eat it.
These guys have the best workers. I went there yesterday evening around 7.30ish. I overheard two customer yelling at the two managers. That wasn't necessary. The customer isn't always right. These workers always give me good service even when it is busy. No mcdonalds can be compared to this location. I will always go there:)
This location is worse on service January 17 2020 4: 30am in the morning me and my husband waited for 30minutes for just egg muffin combo, upon receiving our order no sorry at all from the crew/manager and they are very rude, I guess the owner of this location don’t care about the word customer satisfaction at all, lot’s of negative feedback on this store.
Slowest service I've ever experienced. Had to ask for an item to be redone as they had not done it the way I ordered it. Lots of staff but appeared to all be focusing on the drive thru and ignoring customers in the dining room. Definitly could have been a lot better
It's your standard McDonald's, but it was cleaner probably because it's still new and there wasn't too many people when I went there on a Friday, which is nice and got my order after waiting appropriately. However, can definitely tell there was some issues with the self-service, and for sure staff just needs to get more adjusted with the new place. Over time, it definitely will be more busier as this place begins to become more exposed to the public. Still a good place though.
Amazing staff at this new location. The girl with the really funky painted nails is the best. Sometimes the drive thru can be a bit slow but only during peak times, and all Macd's are a bit slower at peak times. Take a breather people!
6pc nuggets came with 4pc and no sauce, given the wrong type of muffin, coffee always tastes like garbage. Prices are more expensive than other McDs. A disgrace to the golden arches, shame. Friendly staff, that's all.
I had good service once from here when it first opened, everything was clean, food and coffee was consistent with other McDs and it was even fast. What happened!? ! Please advise with McDs on 11155 14st for tips on how to improve service and quality.
The staff here need some form of serious training. A simple order like “Quater Pound BLT, take out bacon” couldn’t be punched in correctly. I ended up with Double Quater Cheese EVM which is more expensive than what I wanted. I asked for this to be changed and after about 2 tries, they finally got my sandwich right by which time my fries were already cold. There was no apology or any offer to give me back the excess money I paid. The manager (in checkered shirt) rather had a huge frown on her face as if to tell me I was being a pain in her a**. How is it my fault that your staff Nadia couldn’t punch in a simple order?
I honestly waited 45 mins in the drive through and they were not even courteous enough to give out coupons or anything to feel apologetic. Terrible experience.
