This location is HORRIBLE! Always a wait for cold food or for them to get your order wrong. I will go out of my way to go to another McDonald's! The last two times mcdelivery app has changed the address to this location while ordering and both times a burger was missing and food was cold and gross! How hard is it to get it right.

Late night staff is slow. Orders are usually correct, but not anyways perfect. Of course did thru is preferred over in house orders. Food tastes like McDonald's.

Update: late night drive thru is still terribly slow.

This place is a mess! Printers for odering kiosk don't work but they insist on calling out numbers and are annoyed when you don't know yours? Former employee in the way, draped across the pick up counter, a Drive Thru customer yelling because he didn't get his gravy after he was told twice they'd bring it out to him but didnt, and the staff rudely telling him to wait a minute. I think he had waited a few minutes. Finally go up to get my order and she tells me they no longer have cold brew available. So why was I able to order it? Then she says she'll give me an XL coffee instead for the price. No offer of my money back. It'll take me 2 days to drink that much coffee. My kids order, from a different kiosk, surprise printer doesn't work, now they are calling out food apparently but she's so quiet now, no one can hear her. Finally go up and ask about their food and I get a snotty reply that she had called it out and it was disassembled. So we had to wait for them to put it together again. Please avoid this McDonalds if you like your sanity.

Very bad and slow service. I kept standing front of the front counter for 15 mins because the touch screen did not process my payment. The manager and couple of workers kept on telling me to wait for few seconds, which took 15 mins. Also the Pumpkin spicy latte taste way below expectations. I won’t recommend this branch to anyone and I can see that their overall rating is bad which is not surprising for me

Went through the drive-through and paid at the normal window and pulled up to get my food, at which I was told I needed to pay again because the transaction didn't go through. This would be fine if I didn't have proof on my phone showing that the transaction had gone through and was paid. The manager told me that I would not receive any food until I paid again even though I showed on my banking app that the transaction had gone through. Their reasoning was that the machine 'beeped' differently so it didn't work. Told me that I would have to come back to be issued a refund in 6 days if I got double charged. I was double-charged but was unable to get any help in getting refunded. Pretty put off by the whole experience. The staff was fairly rude and uninterested in making the situation right. If you want to pay double for food shop here. I will never order again.

It’s absolutely disgusting that the management does not even care about properly training people that work there. You’re waiting 1520 minutes sometimes in the drive-through with nothing but sorry about that and your ice is melted in your pop like it’s just disgusting. This one restaurant alone is got to be the worst in Edmonton Anytime you do an Uber or a skip all the condiments are missing it doesn’t matter how bold your mark stop it you’re not getting your condiments. It is true that people that ordered breakfast one morning all got sick that the health board was actually called. They should just close this one down and if that manager doesn’t care, then she shouldn’t be working in any food industry in Edmonton.and they aren’t friendly to kids they’re not friendly to anybody.

I woke up on a lovely Saturday morning and headed out for work. I was getting late and thought let’s give Mcdonald’s a try for my breakfast. And oh boy how delusional i was. I specifically asked for an egg and cheese on an english muffin with NO MEAT. I asked and confirmed three times in the drive thru and I was casually answered all three times. As I drove up to pay I confirmed one more time and was lied straight to my face. Upon driving off I decided to take a bite while on the road but lo and behold as I open the wrap I’m hit with the smell of bacon. I gaze in between the english muffin and to my horror I see my food loaded with bacon. There we go my lovely Saturday completely destroyed by this Mcdonald’s. Won’t be returning.
P.s: Please note I was the only idiot in that drive thru with no soul in sight. One less excuse to mess up my simple order.

Been through drive thru twice in 3 weeks. Service seems to be an inconvienience for the employee and the lettuce has been yellow/brown, on both trips. Fries are undercooked and i know there supposed to go by the timer. Save yourself a fast food headache and go across the street to Harveys or DQ.

Worst McDonald's in the city. Always disappoints when I got there. Unless u drink coffee avoid at all measure. I get my kids meals and we always are told to pull ahead and wait. If theh just looked after their customers for maybe a minute more they might be liked.

3 years later and this one should have new management or just be shut down. Couldnt even get my order right. Soooooo stupid.

Well only half my order was correct I asked for a chai got a vanilla bean ordered a large McFlurry got a reg no spoon either had to ask for my sauce on the side that I had to pay for. Got my first taste of what it was to be asked if I wanted to pay for a bag for my food so no thanks ill eat inside staff looked frazzled idk I’m not a big fast food fan to begin with. The fillet o fish shrunk over the years on top of it so more money less food. It was tasty yes but for 33.00 I expect exactly what I ordered.

Super long drive thru wait even at 2 am. Cup had weak structure so lid was not secure. Scalding hot tea poured down my leg on car seat as cashier burnt herself because of the faulty cup, but rather than pouring tea into new cup, just plunked it into a second cup which made the xl tea too top heavy for cup holder. Have burn marks on leg days later still. Muffin way overbaked and hard as a rock. Just a terrible experience. When I cam back the next day to tell manager, she gave me 2 free teas and wished me a good day.

Very bad customer service, no greetings whatsoever, unreal wait times in the drive thru, stores just dirty all the time. To top it all the food is way below standard. The pic is of the half cheese slice on a fish fillet that had no sauce either.

Avoid this location the service is terrible had to wait 25 minutes to get my meal and they didn’t even give me a straw for my drink

Worst McDonald's in Edmonton! Literally spent 30 minutes in a drive through that only had 3 cars infront of me. The staff here has always been rude. The ice cream they give is usually half the size of what you actually order. It's pretty disgusting!

I went in person, not only was the cashier rude, I had the simplest order a sausage McMuffin with no cheese with bacon, They confirmed this order with me. Then I got my food and was told “sausage McMuffin” when I opened my food I found that it was not a sausage McMuffin but a egg McMuffin and it still had cheese on it! It wasn’t busy they had no customers in the store and no cars in the drive though, and my simple order was completely wrong! The cashier at the front was certainly not happy to be there either, he was not a pleasant person to talk to.

This location is a joke not impressed ever when ordering here. I feel the management is very cheap never gives sauce with nuggets always puts all the food in same bag as drinks like that makes the food cold that's comon sence. They don't give any care in the world when preparing food for skip the dishes or door dash. Burnt burgers and large fry with less the the medium.avoid this location at all cost. P.s your food will never be HOT ever. I blame management for even letting this go on and on its been months and the services just gets more poor by the minute. Step up your game not inpressed. Just ordered again 3 meals but missing 1 drink.

I order a 2 can dine and a burger for my son. I get a whole lot of ketchup, 3 straws for 1 cold drink and 1 napkin… What do you want me to do with this, split it in to 3? Share the napkin? Why are You being so cheap?

Ordered double big mac with no pickles
Got home its was regular big mac with pickles
And a double quarter blt and again just a regular blt
Not first time they screwed up at this place

One word to say about this place… Disgusting!
Even in the midst of lunch hour, the fries tasted old & greasy; possibly reheated? Not sure they were SO BAD!

McChicken was also disgusting! Tasted old, was extremely thin and lettuce & mayo was all on one end of the burger only!

I suggest you go find another McDonalds if that is what you are craving. Obviously the franchise owner of this location does not adhere to any policy on quality: (

We stop there for breakfast almost every workday. 3 days out of the 5 I had egg shells in my egg in my sausage and egg Mcmuffin and most of the time the English muffin is burned!

Stopped there again. More egg shells in my sausage egg Mcmuffin, muffin burned again and found a hair in my hash brown! Will not go there again! After speaking to the manager awhile ago, there has been no change!

Clear voices at the drive thru, Fast Service and we didn't have to go back for straws. Pineapple Mango smoothies are super yummy here!

Wrong drink with Ice when asked for no ice. Cold fries. Squished big Mac. All on all paid more than a clerk making minimum wage and should have eaten my cash - would have been more satisfying.
Foolishly I repeated have gone to this location and always some issue or other with the order and the apparent inability to just do the job you are paid to do.better store 59th and Ellerslie!

It's McDonald's. Hot spot for drunk bums to hang around. To each their own i'm not concerned what they do, but it's annoying when they stand next to the drive through speaker to panhandle. Or they beg for change because their hungry, and than you watch them walk to the liqour store with it.

Beaware they will say you 3, but they will make you wait for 20 minutes. No use you drive thru if you are not serving right there. Not satisfied at all

Poor stacking skills for the breakfast mc muffins. I had ordered a double double and a triple triple, neither of them had sugar AT ALL.terrible. Very disappointed. This mcdonalds has let me down multiple times over the years.

On July 9th 2021 at around 130am me and a friend went to order some food, the young lovely east indian girl working the drive thru ignored the board after asking what I would like, so I proceeded to the window and there were no cars behind me, the then insisted that she couldn't take my order and I had to drive around again, so I did, when I got to the board again she shut it off so I couldn't see it, then was getting mad pretending she couldn't understand what I was saying, I order 2 mchicken meals and 2 coffees and a mcdoubble, once we go to the window she snarled and snorted like a warthog, and talked dirty to me in Punjabi and made me really uncomfortable and like a second class citizen, really hurt my feelings, she basically threw the order in my suv and slammed the window shut, I left in tears because I've never been a victim of racial profiling. And I felt bad because I wasn't part of her tribe I was looked down upon. But I got over it and carried on my way. Once I got home I checked the order and instead of 2 mchicken meals I had 2 old stale frys that had dirt in them, likely swept off the floor and 3 mcdoubbles, old and crusty, I think there was spit in them as well. The pop was good tho. Coffees were ok. It's OK tho. Some people just are naturally grumpy u suppose and the young lovely lady working the drive thru that night was probably on her period. Otherwise I recommend this McDonald's. But only before 9pm.

Made me wait out front even though no one behind me in drive thru. Gave me my drink with no straw while waiting, then no straw at all in the bag and extra dipping sauces that I did not request. Weird. Friendly, but poor overall.

Service is very slow even they dnt care about customers time, they are very talkative and rude, I will never go there again

Great service. Got what I came for. Got a free coffee from coffee coupon from 2013. My friends husband never cashed them in so she gave them to me. I didn't know if they'd honor them from 8 years ago, but they did. AWESOME.

This specific location always has gotten orders wrong and the service has not been polite. Whether it be forgetting items, putting wrong item in bag or being sloppy with making the food as shown in the picture.

Ordered their grand big mac and received an original instead. They messed up parts of the rest of the order as well. Really disappointed when they can't get a simple order correct. As for the strawberry milkshakes, couldn't find anything resembling the tsst of strawberry. Was tasteless. Yuk

Terrible! Got paper inside my cone the other night! Drove back and complained but they didn’t care! They didn’t wanna help me or deal with me! Still upset actually!

Horrible service. No masks or sanitizer. The Manager told me to shut up no respect and well waiting 4 people came in cause they messed up the orders. Great service

I work here and understanding the working conditions and the pressure we have at McDonald to have customer satisfaction and the motto of i'm loving it determines this place to be the best if someone has to understand their under pressure working skills

This place is the absolute worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too. They do the exact opposite of what you ask (adding extra condiments and stuff) and it always tastes terrible, haphazardly thrown together. The WORST. The new one on ellerslie is 100% better so don’t go here you’ll probably get sick, since they can’t seem to do simple tasks I’d assume they clean the kitchen with the same lack of concern.

Very very poor food handling method, in kitchen no one use gloves when making/preparing food. Never know if they scratched their body or head with bare hand. I throw my food in garbage. I would like to request owner/manager, please don't be so cheap and provide gloves to kitchen workers in this pandemic. Thanks

Fast, friendly service during drive-thru. One of the fastest drive-thru's in the city! A very busy outlet but I trust their food.
