A hobo came in and was drinking the hand sanitizer. Was great entertainment while waiting for our order.

Every time I go into this Macdonalds (which is not very often anymore) I'm astonished by the number of meth junkies and other unsavory characters hanging out front and inside the restaurant.
Once inside, you'd be lucky to find an actual human cashier taking orders. At least one of the self-serve machines are always out of order.
Seems that food orders get backed up quickly, and the wait for food is too long. This is especially frustrating if your just waiting on something like a coffee or single item order. It gets made and put on the counter and you have to wait 10-15 minutes to get it.
The dining room and washrooms are often dirty, fountain pop machines out of order, etc. We decided to take our lunch to the picnic tables outside and left about 5 mins later due to being harassed by a guy hanging around there with his shopping cart full of garbage.

Delayed our pickup mobile order and fries and food had gone cold. I had to ask the guy who kept bringing orders for those that came after us about our order, then he finally brought it out. He was a nice guy though and very apologetic of the delay, which made us feel better.

Worst service ever. Food is like they took it from the garbage and served it to you. I would rate it 0 stars if I could. Never returning.

Definitely NOT a 24 hour drive thru. I live nearby and have come across multiple visits in the last month where both drive thru lanes are blocked off and all lights are turned off. Seems sporadic but can’t claim they’re 24 hours if they aren’t.

Didn't get what I thought I ordered. Menu is very confusing. Person on the window didn't seem to understand.

Usually can’t get an order right, and the Managers don’t care to correct or comp. Nah, I’m good.

I very much appreciated the guy who helped my dad who doesnt speak english at the drive thru, he’s an asian guy who spoke a good amount of spanish and help my dad with his order. ¡Muchas gracias flaquito niño! We need more people like you. Unfortunately my dad didnt get his name but he is very appreciated:) thank u thank u very much!

Missing fries.disappointed but ok. But apparently this is what a 10 piece Mcnugget meal looks like now. Not the first time this location has screwed up my order on the way home from work.

Very clean, expert breakfasts and late night friendly fare. Fair prices. Very good cafe style coffee! Excellent date night place! Has a drive thru window. Nice washrooms.

The guy at window was so rude, when he took my order literally shouted at me for no reason, just went there to get a wrap after my 12 hr shift and that kind of behaviour ruined my day. The team or the manager should look after to it. As for a bussiness to run smoothly, should be good customer service. The guy was big guy with lot of tatoos.

I’m gluten free and also a vegetarian #TurningOverANewLeaf but was in the mood for a Hamburger, this is what I got. This McDonald’s was very accommodating with my dietary preferences. Although the food was phenomenal I wish the packaging wasn’t plastic #SaveTheTurtles

As with any location, maybe they get the order right, maybe not. App or drive-thru, it's hit or miss.

The drive thru was closed so, a huge shoutout for denying TAKE OUT service to my starving, pregnant fiancé because she didn't have her drivers license for double proof of vaccination. You people are doing Gods work over there. You should feel a measure of pride in upholding segregation in society. Your government applauds your effort to help divide society.

They give a shi. About their customers to a point of screening for vaccinations even before you are allowed in the restaurant.

I ordered a simple order one chicken mcmuffin a coffee and a breakfast burrito they made me park I waited for over 5 minutes nobody came out I went inside as I was coming inside girl came out gave me my order well what I thought was my order instead I got somebody else's order

Clean and fast.helpful staff. They changed their menu boards as of November 2021 and they are easy to use to find menu selections.

Ordering coffee and taking a sip. Not stirred properly.
Sandwiches look like they are literally thrown together carelessly. What do I expect from disrespectful teenagers though demanding minimum wage to go up.

I hate this mcdonalds. There's always a problem with my food. No one smiles ever. For a single sandwich they make you pull over and then yell what your order is while walking to your car so you have to check the bag because you can't hear what it is. Half the time it's wrong. Maybe do something else if you can't handle simple tasks.

Well I still don't mind the food. But Wow what a shock seeing the price increase. Went for what I thought was a cheap Breakup. Ouch price increase of over 60% and that includes the 1$ coffee.

I visit this McDonald's quite often and the service provided here is very consistent. The staff is always friendly and positive and I can count on one hand the number of times they have messed up my order over the past 20 years. Maybe it's all those years being right next door to the Ranchman's bar but this franchisee location certain knows how to provide good customer service. Keep up the great work and to another 20 years of amazing service to our community!

Only good for coffee every time i eat there im in the bathroom within 15 minutes of eating there.for at least a day.could be me or there food. I would personly not go and eat there.

Very rude staff in the drive thru, and didn't make my order as I requested, do not eat here at all

Tonight I made the mistake of going back at this McDonald's this is the 4th and last time I've been there. They always mess up the order. What's the point of being polite when you can't prepare the order properly. Always a bad experience

I quit coming here because you guys almost ALWAYS mess up the order if it is more than two combos. Came today because the competition was closed and guess what messed it up BADLY. I know you guys used to track how long each car is in the drive through maybe don't put so much pressure on them to get the cars out FAST. I'd rather wait an extra minute in the drive through and have my order done CORRECTLY. The competition NEVER messes it up.

They need to update their dine-in/ take out more accordingly to these times. Says 24/7 and dine in, but doors are locked in the morning.

The staff here are always extremely polite, even in the busiest times, and have been excellent regarding mask exemptions during these difficult and confusing times of COVID-19. I have never had a bad experience here and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a McDonalds that knows how to do things right. Thanks to everyone at Macleod Tr SW for being such amazing people, and always going above and beyond

Messed up the 2 wrapped, didn't get a pikachu happy meal box. Only positive side was Uber was quick. And coffee is amazing!

I ordered chicken nuggets this morning with 2 sweet sour sauce and 1 hot mustard but you gave me the wrong sauce. Never experience this wrong before at this store or others.

Jan 9,10.15am. Ordered breakfast sandwiches from the drive thru and were asked to pull to the side to wait. 15mins later, no food, so husband went inside to ask. I heard the manager shouting at him from outside, was told to leave and keep waiting, they’re very busy. 5 mins later an employee comes out with breakfast and says someone forgot to bag it. We waited 20 mins for breakfast, and the manager was so incredibly rude and disrespectful. If we hadn’t followed up, we would have been waiting still. There was no line up, so I don’t know why we were waiting on a mcmuffin. It was an error that could be easily fixed, but instead the manager decided to shout at a customer who is pointing out their error.

Closed at 5 pm today. Can't get a response in drive thru and a blacked out menu. So much for eating here. Stop going here for a year and its still garbage. They tried to poison me the first time with raw burger meat.

LITERALLY 99% of visits I have here I have to pull off to the side and wait for them to bring my food out only for it to be wrong. (I’m here A LOT) Literally.
One time I got my ssg egg mcmuffin and it poured 2 ounces (not exaggerating) of butter out of the wrapper and it stained my jeans.

How i wish I can rate negative 1. Like I complain because I got an expired product.and from Customer service personel doesn't help well. INSANE SERVICE. FOOD SPOILED NO NO NO.

Its a typical McDonald's very well executed. No surprises which is what you want at McDonald's.

One of the employee walked in the restaurant without wearing her mask on for her shift. I spoke to the manager about the issue, and she brushed off my concern;saying that it's up to everyone to decide. I told her that, since she's one of her employés she should remind them to follow the rules. Very disappointed of her! Don't know if I will ever come back.

If I could give a 0 star I will give this McDonalds (the one in 9311 Macleod Trail SW Calgary) 0 star or even negative star. Basicially EVERY TIME we go to this location, they forget KETCHUP / CHICKEN NUGGUT SAUCE for the orders. We CALLED the restaurant to file a complaint before and hoped that they IMPROVE but they DIDN'T. AGAIN MISSING SAUCE! HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO EAT CHICKEN NUGGET/ FRIES WITHOUT SAUCE OR KETCHUP?

We had an issue with a filet I fish and we had gone back the other night to get a replacement one and the manager was really great. Made it fresh for us and threw in a large fry for the inconvenience. Good experience when dealing with a food issue (being overcooked the first time). First time at that location, and very smooth. Service was bad, food took 15 minutes to make, but my meal was given for free because of their "mishap"

Can't even make spicy crispy chicken.into grilled spicy chicken. I mean c'mon I payed over 10 dollars small fry and grilled blt chkn.all I wanted was SPICY GRILLED CHKN with Spicy sauce that they put on crispy chkn.wow I can't do that huh. Well no more mcdonalds for me if u can't make what I pay for. I Thought The Customer Is Always Right.not anymore huh.be nice if staff were understandable also

So disappointed with the Big Mac. Not so big anymore. I remember when it was a 2-3 napkin burger.not so much now

Besides how unfriendly they are at night and they always end up messing up our orders. They also dont wear hairnets in the back. We ended up having a burger with a long hair in it. My boyfriend had to pull it out of his mouth. It was disgusting!

I went to the trive thru around 230pm. I ordered Spicy chicken with extra spicy sauce and onion meal, Happy meal nuggets, hot fudge sundae. I told to cashier to put EXTRA KETCHUP AND NAPKINS. So when i receive i did not have a chance to double check its just because we are in hurry. As i expected No KETCHUP, NO NAPKINS, NO SPOON LESS LESS SPICY SAUCE FEW ONION.

I ordered the ice coffee but there is no ice in the coffee. The employees are not kind and not professional.

Food is hit or miss at best. Last few orders have had gross fries and even the soft drinks tasted weird. Wont be going back to this McDonald's

Getting lazier to get delivery from this store. Last night I witnessed the drive thru staff taken customer unfair, by taken one lane twice than the other. Another one is they don't let the delivery driver to get the order without getting in the long line

Got here around 11pm, ordered and waited 30min for below average food. As you can see my burger was sloppily thrown together; my smoothie tasted like it only had strawberries and the fries taste like they've been double fried for our convenience. Once biting my burger I realized they forgot pickles and onions and my friend said his fountain drink is lukewarm and the ice machine is broken. On top of that, there's these annoying beeping sounds coming from the kitchen non-stop and the employees don't seem to give a sh*t; the place is really filthy with garbage everywhere, a broken chair, a mop in the eating area and we can hear the one employee telling the other guy to stop making too much of one food product.
Wow - get your sh*t together McDonald's! This place is clearly falling apart. I'm pretty sure this is NOT how you should represent a multi billion dollar corporation.

P.s. If you need someone to do a demo on how to assemble burgers and cook fries, don't call me - your workers obviously don't pay attention to training, if they've even recieved any at this location.

*Edit* This McDonald's must be ashamed of their burger presentation since they keep removing my pic of their burger. Keep it classy McDonald's.

Waited for more than 30mins in the store for a take out. Plus the crew is unaware on he is doing. Such a waste of time waiting at Friday night around 1130pm.not advisable.

I ordered one single sandwich and they sent me to the special parking spot.there were all busy with other customers waiting so they asked me to go out to the street and into the other business parking lot. This isn't the first time this happens with single orders. They also seem to screw my orders up. I love McDonald's, I eat it almost daily. This one is the second worst McDonald's in Calgary. Hope it changes or I'll start stopping at Wendy's on my way to work
