McDonald's

This has to be the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever seen! They serve cold food to their customers and are rude when you take it back. A friend ordered through door dash and almost 2 hours later she still hasn’t received her food…they gave her a “complimentary “ Big Mac…lol you guys are useless beyond comprehension!

First 1 star review I’ve ever wrote. Waited over 30 min in the drive through just be great with a very rude lady. Get our food and it’s cold and hard… not very impressed

Advertising all over $2 sundae went in they charge 3.19. Girl At till said manager did not change the till

I don't know why i torment myself and come to this McDonald's. Has to be one worst ones i have ever been to. Almost every table is filthy, the pop station is gross and missing lids. I am not sure how they call it fast food when it takes forever to get your order

The fries had no salt and I asked if there was ketchup in the bag and he said yes and of course there wasn't.

Guy at the drive thru is super awesome! Very nice this late at night. Super courteous and respectful. 5 stars for him

10 minutes 'parked' waiting for my drive through order. I ended up going into the restaurant to collect my order. Not good service.

Do not come here between 4-5: 30 am. They do a “system update “. 2 days in a row i have arrived at 4: 20 am to get a coffee, 1st day i waited for 10 minutes at the speaker and was then told they are doing an update. Store started taking orders at 5 am.
Second day I arrived at 4: 10 waited 10 minutes at the speaker drove to the window, no one was there. Went back to the speaker waited until 4: 45, (i dont have anywhere to be so it doesn’t matter) then was told they will be doing a system update. So i said i have been here since 4: 20 so at this point i will just wait. They said nothing, waited 10 more minutes and then said the restaurant is closed until 5: 30.

Im sure there is a better way to let our customers know the restaurant is closed.

My suggestion.
3-4 am is less busy and updates should be done then.

Drive thru should be blocked like they usually do when it’s closed to let customers know.
Turn off the exterior lights or order screens.
Or even have a message on the order screen saying the restaurant it temporarily closed.
Maybe that can be included in a future update:)

Im not trying to pick at the employee working here as in my experience they have all treated me really nice. Just trying to give some advice on areas we can improve on:)!

It's very miserable here, I was sitting on one of the tables outside and a random car offered me money for no reason other than I must have looked homeless. Somehow I turned down the free money so I came to the conclusion that this Place makes people dumb and it needs an exorcism. Pronto.

Both drive thrus are open. Cars at both speakers. I go to the right. Wait for 2 minutes then I'm up next. The left car goes through while I wait. Then the 2nd left car goes through.while I'm still waiting? Usually it's left and right, correct? That's skipping the line. Anyway, 2nd left car goes through. Then I wait another minute.still nothing. So i drive up to the window to order, thinking it was broken. Im told i cant order and to go back to the speaker. I do. The left one this time. Doesn't the same thing happen again! But on the left side now! The 1st right car goes ahead. Then the 2nd. While there is still a car in the left ahead of me that should have gone before the 2nd right. ANYWAY! By the time I got my food and drove around to get out, they had closed a drive thru. I get being short staffed or busy or whatever. But to not even pop on and let us know your going to be a second? ! And to make me drive thru twice? !? Unprofessional!

Coming in at 2am isn't the best, but the workers don't need to spit in the food you pay for, and not issue a refund or remake your food properly.don't do drive thru anywhere past 11pm

Order was correct at the window. Wasn't given a receipt and my order was incorrect, staff was unhelpful and the supervisor was short and rude.

The worst McDonald’s in Alberta by far. Expect long waits, long orders and food that’s either hot when it should be cold or vice versa.

Employees will short change you, they are extremely rude and slow also. I wouldn’t doubt if they would even spit or do something else disgusting to your already cold and gross “food”.

Worst drive thru experience EVER! My husband told the girl over the speaker 5 times we wants a sausage MCGriddle we still ended up with a McMuffin. Orders a large iced coffee was given a medium and it wasn't stirred and was way too sweet compared to usual. Our McMuffins were burnt to a crisp. We only ate the hash browns and meat out of our breakfast sandwiches. After sitting in the drive thru for over 12 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of us, we left and got breakfast at A&W instead. This location sucks!

Very slow service and they forgot my fries waited like 20 minutes for 2 coffees and 3 breakfast sandwiches and fries. Then I had to go back in cause they forgot my fries.

I'm writing a lot, but it's just an FYI. The staff seem alright and fast enough in my experience. I'm from a different location but started working here, I stay in a hotel, and I finish late at night and often feel like a meal. For some reason the menu board shows a "McDonald's snooze" logo and doesn't switch to the "order verify" screen. 2 of the 4 times I've been here, poutine is unavailable and the filet-o-fish patties are dry, shrunken, and tough to chew. That's not supposed to be allowed by McDonald's standards. I never experienced the latter anywhere else. These 2 things seem to happen at the same time.
I understand the odd blunder happens, but I feel that a menu advertised at an open location while we're craving, means you can expect to receive those items at the expected quality. At 50% failure rate, this is a waste of the customer's time to show up and be let down when we could stay home or go elsewhere. On the flipside of that, I still satisfied my hunger, better luck with my preferred meal next time lol.

They were very busy and short staffed when we were there. Took a long time but it was understandable.

Poor service and poor attitude. Time for a complete personnel change. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would agree.

They get your order wrong 2/3 times you go there and they randomly charge you for stuff. They have very poor service and are very rude and impatient. They also in general take more than twice as long as most McDonald’s.

Wetaskiwin place has friendly staff. Usually gets overwhelmed around lunch and supper hours (staffing issues?) They really have to fix the drive-thru as it's horrible after frost heave.

To the lady who offered me leaf lettuce for my bunless double Big Mac I love you. To the person who made it, I also love you!
It was yummy! No one has ever offered me that and I didn’t even know I could and it was delish

My boyfriend and I ordered 2 double quarter pounder with cheese, fries, and two drinks.
When the guy handed us the bag of food, we didn’t notice until we already got home that he had given us only 1 double quarter pounder, no salt on our fries, no straws for our drinks, 10 chicken nuggets, and 1 plain quarter pounder. Not even close to what we asked. We also asked the guy to read our order back to us at the pay window since the intercom on the menu screen was broken and we couldn’t hear him for the life of us.

Very disappointed since it was such an easy order. And I didn’t get what we ordered, as well as the food was very gross, and cold.

I always find the staff & service at this Wetaskiwin, Alberta, location to be commendable. Ordering at the drive-thru or by mobile order is always easy & I have never had a problem with an order. I recommend this local McDonald's location based on my experiences there.

Waited for more than 35 mins for one coffee with one car ahead also staff is extremely rude and slow, when you ask what takes so long they just shut the door and ignore you.

Probably one of the worst McDonald’s where service is concerned. I’d rather go to McDonald’s by Crack Mac’s in Calgary, than go here. And that’s the worst area as I’ve lived there. And still they give good service. Not to mention, they don’t screw up your order.

I like a clean drive through without garbage all over the place.this McDonald's has a very clean drive through.

It doesnt seem to matter what time of day we go or how busy they are, the food is always cold and or soaked in grease. I have been all across canada and i have never eaten at a mcdonalds that is so gross. Mcdonalds already isnt great but this place manages to do even worse for food quality. How do you serve old, cold chicken patties when you literally say you are making it right now and itll take a couple of minutes? Only at wetaskiwin mcdonalds could they pull that off

Waited 10 minutes parked for a hot chocolate. No apology. I had to go in and ask for it. This restaurant holds up to its poor reputation.
