Update 11 Nov 2023: Food was good, service was better and restaurant was fairly well maintained. Much better experience this evening.

We went through the Drive thru at the Shawnessy location, around 1130 pm on a Saturday and without a lie, it took 35 minutes to place the order and get to the window to pay and get the order. There was no apology for the slow service or acknowledgement that anything was wrong with this.

When we got the food home, there were no napkins and the fries were a very pale and limp version of what they should be.

Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The environment is perfect, very clean and hospitable. The services are organized and those working in the place are very polite. I love it.

Service is fine. Awesome prices when its dollar coffee days any size! Also Summer drink days are nice.

Went through the drive thru at 12: 40 am and the guy working gave us the most obnoxious eye roll + attitude after we asked if we could use our points, because he didn’t ask us at the speaker.ended up just paying with my card to save him the trouble:)

How come drive thru 24h? I went this morning and they told me drive thru is closed only dine in And i order 30min before to pick up my order and it was not ready

I did buy some ice cream on drive-thru the lady at the front window puts her fingers inside the ice cream cone, what is the point of having paper wrapped around the corner. And she had attitude super Rude!

Always overfill the coffee causing it to either spill on me or in the car Or they’re cops leak. Only seems to happen at this location

I’ve been here a few times as I got gas and food. They ALWAYS FORGET MY STRAW. It’s infuriating, like you work at McDonald’s man, come on.

First time back in this place after nearly 20 years. It used to be the slowest McD fenachise I had ever experienced. Stopped with my two young kids who wanted a burger before we went to the movies. The service has improved, it's good to see.

Extremely slow service for a McDonald's - unsure if they need to employ more staff or need more staff training. Wouldn't recommend.

It was late at night (1115 pm) and they were very busy. They still managed to produce the worst cheeseburger ever made at a McDonalds. The bun was so stale that the whole thing was crunchy, it had the heat and texture of a burger that had been sitting since the supper service, and yet the cheese hadn't even begun to melt. There was so much ketchup it was all over the burger, the wrapper and now my car. I wasn't expecting a steakhouse caliber burger, but something hot and fresh would've been nice.

I don’t like to write negative reviews but the lady who had helped me at this location around 8: 15pm today via drive thru had an extremely rude attitude over just “an extra packet of sauce”. They never asked me for any sauce for the nuggets I bought and they never gave ketchup in the bag! Also the fries was not cooked well, it was very soft. They need to learn on customer service!

Seems every time I come to this location or have it delivered once a month. They seem to always forget an ordering or like today, have the coffee lid not secured and it spill all over your food.

Better to order from Midnapore location at any point.

Grabbed a ten pack of nuggets at this location to share with a toddler. They served me raw chicken nuggets. 3/4 a child a few my mom ate and 1 I spit out. Thanks guys. Way to do your jobs.

THE MOST WROST MCDONALD EVER. It Been happing with us all the time and this is 6 time it happen today we order food and they always forgot something when we order food they never give us proper food. They charge us for happy meal but they didn’t give me in order. And I tired to call them so many times and they never ever picks up the phone. Worst staff McDonald’s is dirty from inside and drive through is the worst. Never ever going again on this McDonald’s ever.

When did you guys become an actual restaurant, cause fast apparently is no longer a thing with this location.

Service is fine. Awesome prices when its dollar coffee days any size! However used to be one free refill but not anymore! Also not serving one dollar coffee year around anymore.

The slowest McDonalds drive through I have ever been through. I dont normally write reviews but 2 times I have been to this location it has taken them 25 mins to make an order. Never coming to this one again.

I typically dont review places as there are already so many of them. But this place was next level bad. First waited around 15 minutes in the drive-through (was around 11 pm, you know typical time to get this sort of food) and were joking they must be putting in that extra effort. The time thing isnt really an issue, they could have been busy (Hopefully the were for the sake of the quality).
Purchased: 1 big mac meal, 4 mcdoubles and 6 nuggets.
Drink about 70% filled, hamburgers were horrifically put together (dry as heck and old, with stuff falling out the sides.about 30% off the contents were off the bun) and all four burgers looked like a child wrapped them, in fact two of them you were able to see the hamburger without taking off the wrapper. The fries were for sure hours old and had 3 grains of salt on them total. Maybe 4, I didnt count them all. The fries were placed on their side in the bag.like clearly intended to be on their side as stuff was on top of and under them.
You know what youre buying when you order this sort of thing, but this was still 30 dollars. I guess you always have to have a "worst experience" and these guys were mine.:)

DONOT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS, the staff is useless.
Double lanes for ordering drive thru useless. When you wait at a kiosk and another car pulls up in the other kiodk and they get served first. Hmm.first come first serve.
Then we order and paid for a McChicken, no lettuse, add cheese, add bacon.
Never got any cheese or bacon.
When we try to call, they didnot answer the phone for over 6 minutes. Get customer servive.
Guy who answered the phone said he was the "Store Manager".
Yet he couldn't give me a refund.
Hmmmm. Great customer service.
DONOT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS.
Your are better off going to the McDonalds in Midnapore.

Garbage service. I mean this sincerely. It’s the only McDonald’s on the way to my golf course every morning and all I want is a med double double and a plain bagel buttered. They can’t get it right. Then when I tell them they got it wrong They’re like “no sir”. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt All summer in the hopes it would improve. Worst service experience every.single.time.

Staff is not friendly at all, talk over you or walk away while you’re talking. Food took way longer than needed. And the food quality is never good here. The cheese on my burger wasn’t even on the burger.

I've been to many McDonald's and this one is the most consistently bad. Either the food is badly cooked, wrong order or like today I sat waiting in line over 10 minutes and didn't get my order taken with 1 other person in line. Done with this trash location, drive further and avoid.

I tried ordering from here and the worker taking my order said they didnt have what i asked for, so i was okay with it, and when i was going to say something else to order, the worker completely interrupted me and before i could even finish my order she told me to have a good-night and stopped talking. So I didnt even get to order. Plus this Mcdonalds has messed up my order multiple times. The employees are super rude and not polite at all. Ive had a couple workers here be so disrespectful to me on many occasions here.very unprofessional. The workers also rush you for no reason, i was trying to get money out of my wallet and the lady got mad and was being so impatient. Literally the worst place ive ever been, so unbelieveable, If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.

Washrooms are absolutely disgusting at 8: 30am on a Sunday. Can't speak to their food but if their washrooms are any indication, I wouldn't eat here. I spoke to an employee to let them know about the state of their washrooms and they seemed offended. The cleanliness of your facilities speaks to the cleaniness of your eating establishment.

The employees are very unorganized. Their lady manager should work on her communication, she shouts at her staff it’s very unpleasant to look at - even if they’re very busy it shouldn’t be like that. I recommend strategies with their staff - I mean better strategy.

And their washrooms it’s disappointing you have to buzz and wait for them to buzz you in, it was annoying like what is your washrooms? Residential that you have a buzzer? It would be good if they clean their washrooms but not - it’s very dirty. An employee even checks them every time someone comes in but it’s not even clean. Their trash is even overflowing even though the manager already checked the dining and looked around, why are they checking the dining? To see if their customers are overstaying? They felt very rude and not welcoming. I’ve never been to a location like this before, and I’m not coming back. They even have bad reviews in drive thru & in app orders.

The fat lady on the first window of their drive thru gotta be the rudest fast food employee ive ever encountered, got the entire order wrong and all the sizes wrong. Mcdonalds in the ghetto side of the city have better customer service. What a shame.

Worse McDonalds in the world
Used to go there years ago.always had problems the with orders not right constantly, cold food and really bad customer service.
Just stopped going to McDonalds all together.

Thought we’d try it again a couple of nights ago, thinking.it must have improved by now, years later.
But NO. I was wrong.
Missed a McChicken sandwich.completely. The rest of the order was again cold and dry. My wife was not happy.
We thought “they’re just really busy.an honest mistake”
Got talked into it again tonight.
Ordered the same order.we did get the McChicken this time, but it wasn’t really a McChicken.
It had BicMac sauce on it, wilted lettuce and the paddy wasn’t even a McChicken paddy.more like a junior chicken thing.
The whole order was again cold and dry.flat pop.
We had a few bites.but ended up throwing the whole order out.
2 nights = $60.00 ish.not to mention we have to by another dinner tonight.
Probably another $30.00 or $40.00

Tried to call.but no answer.

Did it again.
Went back to this location… still the worse MCDONALDS in the WORLD.

The lady at the drive thru just tossed the kids chocolate milk at me. Then handed my cokes, I barely had time to ask for a drink tray, when she told me to wait in stall # 1.

After 15 minutes, and numerous cars pulling in and out of the wait spaces, and people pulling up and leaving the drive thru window with their orders, a young fellow came out with a receipt to ask if that was my order. It was, and says he’d be right back.

5 minutes later he comes out with 2 bags, no HAPPY MEALS.
He asked if I had the HAPPY MEALS, which I did not have.
He said he’d be back with them.
3 minutes later, he comes back.
No straws in the bags, told the guy not to worry about it. He’d already been out to my car 3 times. Not his fault.

Got home and one of the cokes was bad tasting.
Looked inside and it looked more like watered down ice tea.

It must have been the LARGE fries I ordered that threw the whole production off.

Bad service all around.
Won’t be going back here.

With gas prices at an all-time high, you better hope you don't drive down here during their posted dine-in hours only to be told "they're doing a system reboot and they can't take your order". Meanwhile, Skip drivers are running in and coming out with orders as im sitting here typing this. Happened more than a few times. This time, I've had enough.

You guys are quiet disappointing to go to, almost every time I go there something is wrong without fail! Tonight I ordered a simple poutine and a Big Mac with extra pickles, the burger was all messed up and my poutine had like 15 fries in it, I swear the was more cheese! I’m suuuper disappointed!

When It comes to McDonald's, I don't usually expect to much. That said, the service at this location was fast and friendly, and the quality of the food was good too. The bun was fresh and the chicken was tender and not over cooked.

If I can give a 0 at this place, I would. Rude staff. Poor management. We always go to this place as it was the closest to us. Whatever way we order here they always messed it up.
First, I come here after night shift to pick up breakfast- long waiting time. Missing items.
Second - we order dine in and waiting for our order to be delivered in our table. (We order with table service). And we have been sitting with our kids for more than half an hour - no food coming in. If I didn’t went to the front to ask for our order no one would know that it was gone and they gave it to other customer.
Third- ordered thru skip the dishes. The store called us telling that the delivery guy got the wrong order and asked us to tell the guy to come back to the store to get the right one. Apparently, the delivery guy called the skip the dishes and we called the store that we don't know if the delivery guy went back to their store - (to be honest they are blaming the delivery guy- but to our opinion aren’t they the one releasing the order and trying to make sure that the delivery guy got the right one as the only thing that the delivery guy have are the code for the food.) so we waited as the manager told us that they are waiting for a new delivery guy to pick it up. To sum it up. We waited for an hour for our food. Then we called again the store- manager told us that he will deliver the food by HIMSELF. Took our address and phone number. Half an hour - nothing came- called again and the manager that we spoke were on “break” and the girl told us that the manager didn’t say that he will deliver it to us. Telling us that we were lying. Like, we wouldn’t wait 2 1/2 hours and starve our kids for this mess. Thanks to the manager who didn’t bother calling us back that there is no food coming! We could’ve order to a different food place.
