McDonald's

I just got this from this McDonald’s. I paid $3.89 and it’s just barely over half full. Haven’t drank from it either. This is not the first time this has happened. If I pay for something I expect it to be full let alone for that much. This isn’t acceptable.

I was sick for two days and so was my friend who also had a beef burger at the same time.the sickness was the worst, not worth it!

Drive-thru was closed for no reason at 3 PM today, and people that tried to go in saw the doors were locked. Maybe update your hours if you won’t be open?

Wouldn't call this fast food. Having to spend 10 mins waiting for a small meal in reserved parking only to come in because no one was designated to run the food out.

Got delivery tonight from here and holy heck. 2 double cheese, 1 cheeseburger, lrg fries 1 coke. 50 minutes! From the time the driver got there to leave was just over 50 minutes. And when the food arrives? The fries are barely cool and taste old. And calling the burgers warm is kind. Their lukewarm at best.

Typical McDonald's food, but check EVERY ORDER YOU PLACE! Been through drive through, window, skip the dishes, and 4 times out of 5 this location will forget something. From dips, to entire meals, to what order you are. For reals, go to ANY other McDonald's. You'll just have to go back and get the rest of your order.

Actually one of the better locations, at least it seems like the employees are still trying which is nice. Can’t get an iced coffee with ice in it and they’ll for sure mess up your order if you get more than a couple things. But over half the time the food is warm and cooked properly which puts it amongst the top mcdonalds in the city

Went through the drive through to order around 9pm. I was told to wait. 10 minutes later still no one took my order. Plus I am stuck in line for an additional 10 minutes writing this terrible review. I will not be coming back to this location

Wow, is all I can say after my experience. After ordering my food and pulling up to drive thru window to pay, the lady handing me my order didn’t put the lid on the cup properly so as I grabbed my drink the lid came off and about half of the drink spilled on me. She didn’t even manage to say sorry or anything, she just gasped and then went back inside and got me a new lid. Did not speak a word and did not offer to refill my drink. Just left me speechless.

Also they went to paper straws which just made everything worse when I got home.

Ordered a pumpkin spiced latte. Which is already pricey and this is what i get. Had one sip out of it. What a rip off

McDonald's needs to invest some training in food & beverage identification, such as knowing the difference between coffee and tea twice in a week I was given coffee instead of my usual peppermint tea.

I just drove through this drive-thru (Oct. 4,2021) to purchase a coffee (for hubby) and an ice-cream cone for me.

Imagine my shock and dismay when the server working drive-thru handed me the cone without benefit of either a wrapper on the base of the cobe, a napkin or anything separating her bare hand (not gloves) from then cone.

I hold her that I did not want the ice-cream cone as she has handled it bare handed without any wrapper or barrier between her bare hand and the food I was about to consume.

It is a most unhygienic practice and really foolish at the best of times but most especially during this pandemic.

If this is how McDonald's operates and handles food while in full visibility of custoners, then I am afraid to imagine what goes on out of sight.

I cannot imagine why I would return to this McDonald's again given their seeming disregard for practicing good hygiene.

It was great when they brought out the Grand Mac that was a big success. Unfortunately not available no more. Other than that always fresh food

Food quality at this location is good, but the drive through frequently messes up orders, and they never have the screen update properly so I can never confirm it's correct before paying. Very frustrating to constantly be getting the wrong items and drinks. Employees need to learn to focus on one payment or prder at a time, as when they try to multitask it causes a lot of errors.

It's McDonalds so the food is fine. They have been messing up orders lately when I go through the drive through or order via the app.

I have been going to this location from more than 5 years and never had any bad except for last four times only when one lady, she is from Philippines background and stereotypes me every time every time she serves my order.there will be many people in the line waiting for the order and she chooses only me for receipt to varify it’s mine order, she never asked any other guest but choose me, when I confronted this time only me she choose she said it’s the procedure and they have to do it.this is called as stereotypeing some one. From now on I will choose another location to take my business.

Nice McDonald’s that has good service. The staff I had contact with were courteous and helpful. My meal was good, I had the BTS chicken McNuggets meal and it was good. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The washroom was clean also. I have been going to McDonald’s all my life and have always enjoyed the food. Good prices for the food they offer. McDonald’s is always trying new offerings. I like the mini donuts.

You kept giving me wrong orders. Almost everyday I drop by your drive-thru, ordered the same, but you kept screwing up the order. I ordered a medium Coca-Cola, you gave me Diet Coke, next day I ordered again, small Coca-Cola, you asked me if I want to upsize it to medium, I agreed, but you gave me Root Beer. Is it hard to understand? One time I ordered a Happy Meal Cheeseburger for my kid, yes there was bread, there was cheese, but NO BURGER PATTY! Why you kept messing with the orders of your customers? Please be RESPECTFUL with our orders!

Always forget something on take out. Like a fork most of the time for my poutine. Hey we sometimes go sit outside too eat ya know. It's not rocket science to add a fork with poutine.

This McDonald’s location is one of worst managed I have visited! The drive thru attendants are difficult to understand as they often speak too fast and do not enunciate their words. The inside staff are extremely inefficient and are few and far between. I have waited at the till (as the only customer inside the store) 7 - 8 minutes for service. Staff will look at me from other work stations, but other than that I have been ignored. Many of the staff are not very polite. In fact I swear some of them take lessons at being rude. Without fail, staff will always try to “up sell” customers items they did not order and do not want. This becomes very annoying. When compared to other McDonald’s locations this one is a big disappointment.

I ordered a coffee with Splenda, it got it full of sugar, I can have sugar. It would be wise to be careful as you can put someone in diabetic shock

Very lazy staff everytime I go here there are items half open causing spills in the bag and they forget half your order

Order hasn't been wrong once yet. I've visited this mcdonalds (drive thru) a few times now. Order is never wrong and they are generally quick even with their lunch time rush. I haven't come across an overly rude worker here and have to comend the workers for keeping up during covid.

Every time I've gone here, they send me over to the waiting car area. Its not even busy. Not 1 car in the drive through but 5 cars waiting in the waiting stalls. Never again.

Here we go again drive thru order asked as always double big mac no cheese checked at drive thru exit had cheese went into the counter to get it without hands me a bag with it and the bad one in it get home and it has Xtra cheese at this point im done with this location this os the 5th time this ki d of thing has happened

I got the wrong order! I ordered a big mc through the app and picked it up a few minutes ago from the drive thru. When I got home I was eager to eat my dinner, I found my big mc inside my bag without meat.wth would eat a burger without a patty? That is totally not a burger! I guess i have to sleep hungry now. So bad badddd.what a waste!

Usually enjoy alot but went through the drive thru made my order got home and found my fries half full, which was a total burn since I up sized them.
Probably won't go back to this location

Ordered a double quarter pounder meal, when it arrived there was no double quarter pounder. They ghosted my pleas to acquire the rest of my meal

Used drive through. Very fast despite how busy it was. Lines were long on both sides. My breakfast meal was super hot. Worth stopping in at location.

Very poor service! Waited at the front to order but everyone was too busy serving drive Thru despite of seeing us waiting every one Ignore us! The worst part was someone came after us and was taken his order right way! Was that discrimination because I was wearing hijab!? The Denica at the front was rude while I tried to talk to her! Worst service! Avoid this place!

Manager Laura in black sweater 11: 30 am 3 times while I was there was very RUDE to employees in front of seniors and children. This lady needs counseling for her actions, all she was asked was for a code to change a fifty

I've only had one bad experience at this location.they since then got different employees and management.they've also renovated this location which is way more inviting and the self serve stations are awesome.

Internal staff is slow at servicing customer and sometimes drive thru is faster that internal help.

I love thier breakfast mcGriddle bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches.plus the pancakes are sublime.always have been. I don't know what they put in them 2 make them so fluffy and tasty.

Needs a 0 star order off skip the dish from this mcdonalds and found a fish head in my fries, called to speak to manager the employee who answered the phone was incredibly rude said take it up with skip the dish what does a food courier have to do with their food being cooked

Approached manager to complain about employees smoking by the side door because the cigarette smoke causes grief to my husband who is asthmatic.

The manager told me to go to the employees and advise them that they need to move.

I do understand why management does not take ownership for keeping their employees in line and instead, try to pass the buck to paying customers.

I also do not understand why employees think it is permissible to smoke right beside the doors leading to the premises.

It is disgusting and has me rethinking if I should return to thus McDonald's location.

I wish head office would investigate this complaint.

Usually a hit or miss of food quality depending on the time of day you go. Sometimes fries have been sitting out, sometimes they're fresh. Day staff is usually friendly and upbeat.

I have been to this McDonalds 20+ times because I live close. Of those times, there was MAYBE once I got my order correct. I’m not ordering a difficult order. It’s a meal for one. I cannot believe how bad this McDonald’s is. I’ve never been to one half this atrocious.

I’m currently waiting in line in the drive thru. There are 3 cars in front of me and I’ve been here for 22 minutes. Absolutely awful.

Its McDonalds as usual it is as good as you pay for. Quick meal on the go. Have had to revise. With them locking the washrooms and staff too busy to unlock them. Avoid this location if possible. Not even sure how this meets the health code. Open public washrooms are mandatory.

What is there to say.
It's McDonalds. It's consistent from restaurant to restaurant and from one country to another

Possibly the worst McDonald’s in Edmonton. I have been here several times for the breakfast menu on my way to work. Almost every breakfast sandwich I’ve had there has had eggshells in it, and now after ordering the breakfast burritos it’s clear that they are definitely old. It’s hard to tell how awfully stale these eggs are by the photo but the texture is incredibly grainy and the wrap itself is crumbling like paper. I’m not one to review fast food places but I’m hoping McDonalds head office can see this and change something going on here. I have no qualms with the eggshells in eggs, mistakes happen, but it is downright disgusting when you have an at least day old wrap with eggshells in it. Just.no.

The building and food was fairly normal, but the place is saturated with the presence and stink of unshowered, homeless people.

Drove here in a blizzard on my lunch break to get a much needed coffee. Asked for a double double and they gave me 2 creams with no sugar. You may think this is a big deal but when you pay for something, something you really really want and need and don't have the opportunity to drive back to have you rectify your mistake, i sit here with a coffee I cannot drink. This happens at least once a week and will now be going next door to tim hortons moving forward. Sick of your s**t!

Close to the Kingsway Bus station which is nice to grab a coffee while waiting.

There's a lot of rif-raf but they're harmless.

I had a very bad experience at this location, to the point where I will no longer be giving this location any sort of business. I usually order through Uber eats and occasionally order dine in. Furthermore, I will be letting my friends and family know not to come to this McDonald’s. I believe a company’s employees should be respectful and communicative when dealing with their customers and this McDonald’s is seriously lacking any sort of professional conduct towards the customers that pay their salaries.

I came in to order the 2 for $5 McMuffin order and $1 coffee. When I got to the restaurant, it was very quiet. I placed my order with a Manager and went to the side to wait for the order. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I waited about 5-8min, watching as person after person got their order in drive thru, as well as the couple that got their order who were behind me in line. I noticed they put up one of the sandwiches I ordered but not the other. I could over hear communication between the kitchen staff and manager that helped me. They ran out of eggs and had to cook more. This seemed to be done at a snails pace as they seemed to just start cooking the eggs after I have already been waiting. I asked the manager what the wait was and she replied we were waiting for eggs. I requested that they also make the sandwich that was up fresh as I didn’t want an old one that was sitting under the heat lamp with a new one. Note, at no point was I told that there was going to be a wait nor was I given any sort of timeframe. I was in a hurry this day so this was particularly frustrating.

Another 5-8 min have gone by and still I have not received my order. I was waiting at the counter so my coffee was up and getting cold. I touched the cup to see if it was still hot but didn’t start drinking from it.

At this point an employee came in and wanted to order. Several of the staff took time to stop what they were doing to come and talk to this employee, further making guest wait as they reminisce. The manager that was helping me still has not told me anything about the wait, didn’t offer to make me a hot coffee, nothing.

I then asked if it would be much longer, as I was in a hurry and didn’t realize I would be waiting this long for my order. The manager rudely snapped back that the eggs were cooking and that they couldn’t make it faster. Again, no time frame was given to me as to how much longer I would be waiting. This took me aback, I then decided to request my money back and take my business elsewhere.

The manager then started saying no to a refund but would give me coupons. I said I didn’t want the order anymore and I didn’t want coupons, I wanted to leave. The manager continued to argue with me, offering coupons rather than my money back. I finally was able to convince her to give me my money back.

She gave me a refund for the sandwiches. I asked for a refund on the coffee but she told me that because I touched the cup, I would not be getting a refund for that. I decided not to escalate this already ridiculous situation any further and left with my cold coffee.

I have never been so insulted by an employee of an establishment, let alone a manager. This visit has made it clear to me that the employees working here do not value their customers time or money. Because of this incident, as I stated above, I will no longer order through Uber eats or in person and will go out of my way to ensure everyone I live with and close to steer clear of this awful restaurant.

This place is B A L L S. Fries were old, food was cold, and my fruitopia was watered down (machine must be broken).

My 1/4 pounder with cheese ice cold as well as my kids happy meals.ice cold.but fast service.never again

I drove through at 11: 58pm after hockey tonight (December 9th). I was two minutes before midnight and they would not give me the $3 Big Mac deal that's advertised on their sign at that moment because it wasn't midnight yet and the deal was between December 10th to 16th.

Uncompromising. Jobsworth. Won't be going here again.

#1 service was absolutely terrible
#2 the wait was about 7.5 minutes in the drive through (2 vehicles ahead of me)
#3 the ice cream machine was down

Will never go back.

Went here with a couple of friends. I ordered a mcflurry and fries and i waited 10 minutes and there was literally no customers before me. I could see my fries in the container sitting on a rack all ready to be served. When i finally got my food, i said thank you and the employee didn’t even say thank you or have a great day. She literally just walked away. This isn’t the first time i’ve had terrible customer service at this location and it’s other locations as well.

Tummy full of grease. Hard on the system but instant gratification. Clean and tidy restaurant, cheap and quick

I visited this location with my girlfriend and both of us were mostly pleased. She ordered the poutine with extra cheese and was satisfied with the amount of cheese on it, and I ordered an absolutely scrumptous Angus burger. The employee was very kind, and efficient with the processing of our mobile order through the drive through. My only complaint however is that they failed to include a straw with the drink we ordered, which made it very difficult to drink out of while the car was moving.

I have been back many times, and I know I will be back many times more.

Bad service and worse tasting food ended up throwing it all out because of the smell and taste, they always mess up orders, go to another mcdonalds or somewhere else.
