This McDonald’s is possibly the most incompetent and disorganized ever. It is mind blowing how terrible the service is. Also I’ve definitely been sick several times after eating here and I’m just assuming it’s cross contamination of some kind. DISGUSTING DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE FOR A GOOD MEAL!

This place is hit or miss. A little disappointing that there have been many incorrect orders, mainly through the drive through.
Hoping it improves.

I don't know what is wrong with this Strathmore store.their ice machine has been broken for months now. I stopped going there as their pop tastes terrible without ice. Seems something is always not working.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place has gone downhill.
They are constantly making mistakes on orders and making customers park and wait for ridiculous amounts of time for one meal.
This place needs new management very badly.

Parking is TERRIBLE! Getting into the drive thru is worse! There are 3 parking spaces that block access to the outer lane.

This is the worst McDonald's I ever been to, I gave them my 3rd and last trip. Disgusting display and lack of presentation. Missing my bacon and fried onions. Slapped together barf. My bad for going there. Strathmore Big M your store sux!

I was disappointed with my chicken nugget order when I realized the dipping sauce was not packed with my order. 20 pieces of nuggets with no sauce makes for a dry dinner.

Stay away from this location. I just spent 13 minutes in the drive through with only a few cars in front of me. Drove away without my order. The service and the food is always sub par. Go to the A&W down the street. At least the food is fresh.

Ordered 2 blueberry pomegranate smoothies and a red raspberry slushie and all 3 of us got sick and spent alot of time in the bathroom. My son had to call in sick to work. I think they have a machine maintenance issue at the Strathmore location.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We decided to make a stop to grab some quick breakfast on our road trip. Upon attempting to order at 2 of the self serve kiosks the printers were broken and would not dispense a receipt. Despite there being 7 people working at this location, there was only a handful of drive through orders and 3 people waiting inside for their order. We waited 30 mins for a burnt bagel belt which was poorly made with 2 ends of a bagel, wilting lettuce, and barely any bacon pieces. As we waited 30 mins for this order, they also forgot our hash brown. There was also a customer behind us that had made an online order (1 coffee) and they were not able to find the order and the gentleman had to wait for a while to just receive his coffee. This is VERY frustrating and was definitely the WORST McDonald’s experience ever. We attempted to go back inside to get a refund, but due to the long lines that built up from the lack of efficiencies and inability to help customers in a timely manner, we resulted to going through drive through to get a refund. We were denied a refund and was told we HAVE to go wait inside to get a refund. This experience was POORLY handled from the initial issues with the kiosk to the wait times and even up until the refund process.

The air conditioning has been broken for quite some time and it seems either management is too cheap to fix it or they just don't really care so when we are having a heat wave, its unbearably hot in there.

We waited for our food for 20 minutes in the drive thru just end up with 2 flat cokes, fries that might have well just been served cold and 2 snack wraps dripping with ranch. Not impressed. I can understand your busy but waiting that long to be completely disappointed not cool.

My only issue with this McDonald's is the sharp/narrow turn after the drive thru. Poor design when built. Us and several others had to wait almost 10 mins in the parking lot but the guy was pleasant and apologetic when he brought the food out

A bit disappointing. I usually order at the till because I prefer the human element and don't like the idea of electronic checkouts potentially taking jobs, even if entry level. After waiting about 5 minutes with no staff coming to take my order, I had to go to the self service order/checkout. Then, at the end of the transaction, it said printer error (out of paper) but fortunately I noticed my order number. I noticed another customer at one of the other self service had same thing happen. Not sure if there were three or four self serve, but at least two had that issue. Before I left I heard at least one customer who didn't know her number and had to ask for help. Fast food should be simple and quick.
Food took long too, but didn't actually time it. One small error with order, but just a different dipping sauce than ordered, so that didn't affect my rating.
This was at Strathmore McDonald's.

Very bad experience standing in front of their window at 1.40 am waited for 30 mins no one came to ask and even answered the phone calls, I called 2 times and looking at phone from window ringing. This was the worst experience I ever had. If you think I'm lying a bit of it check your cameras gave you time already.

The service was incredibly slow. I witnessed a customer standing at the counter asking the staff does anybody work here at the counter and finally the manager came by and the cusromer asked if anybody worked at the counter and then manager looked after him, that was about a five-minute wait.

Ordered fish meal parked for 10 minutes with few other cars parts for a same amount of time two of us went back through for cold food night management and management need to be overhauled should call district office in the morning

Cold fries. Pickles on my burger when I asked for none. Had to re-circle divethru because I wss shorted a cheeseburger. Human error is expected. Seems like McDonald's in too focused on fast food instead of quality food and service.

Same old burger made without any pride. Cheese slice half off the bun, more lettuce around the burger than on it. Pickles in a pile. Sauce oozing out everywhere. Doesn't matter which location, it's the same everywhere.

Every single time we go here there is something missing/wrong with our order! Shame on us I guess for even considering going here knowing full well the order wont be right. We typically order through drive thru and always upsize both our drinks and fries. When we get to the window they always have medium and tell us we were wrong and ordered medium not large.ummm I am pretty sure we can remember what we asked for in the amount of time it takes to get from the speaker to the window! Why do they even bother asking what kind of sauce you want with your nuggets when they never put it in the bag? The newest is they can't even count to 10 tonight we got 9 nuggets in our 10 pc meal! Am I surprised? Not really, it seems they can't get much of anything right!

Parking lot is chaos!

Watch out for crazy drivers and people who don't know what they are doing.

My coffee tasted horrible and my sausage and egg sandwich was missing the sausage. I just stopped for a coffee and bite to eat while on traveling. By the time I noticed I wasn't turning around to go back. They are so busy they mess up their orders all the time.

We don’t go here often and certainly not a fast place. Had to wait in the parking lot again with at least five others cars for drive thru order.

I love McDonald’s so much. They have 2 different fountain drinks to choose from, and not only that, they fill the cup 3/4 of the way so you don’t spill while you drink it with the lid off cause they didn’t give you a straw

We ordered 12 and a half coffee's. All were double double because McDonald's coffee is horrible without sugar. To our surprise they didn't add any sugar. The kids started crying. Grandpa had to force his down, and me, well I gave mine to my dog which later in the day passed away. So I will give you 1 star for now, until u add sugar.

Its McDonald's, the food is what you expect, when they get the order right. Other then the fries, rarely do you get good fresh fries from there, most of the time they either we're pulled early or left to hang and dry offer the oil.

Everytime I go through the drive through, they have me go to the parking stall because they need more time to prepare. Even when it dead. And the order is always missing something. Perhaps if they stop ditching the order and running away before we get a chance to verify that everything is there, maybe they can earn a better rating. The locations in Calgary never have this issue.

Fast and efficient. They usually bring out coupons for great deals at time to time which is a good thing. Open 24/7.

Slow drive thru service. Always asked to park in the full parking lot whit all the other drive thru orders waiting for their food. By getting people to wait it tricked the system making it think they have fast drive thru times this is not the case hope McDonalds finds about and fixes this asap

Can't resist a big Mac, although they are more like a small Mac compared to what we got years ago. Still very yummy though.

Ordered through drive through and required to wait in park station which is fine. The order took a while and when we got the food, breakfast sandwich wasn't hot, coffee and hash brown were. Didn't get requested ketchup so I went inside to get some. For a fairly new building it is in poor/run down condition and not clean. Staff seemed disorganized and definitely warn out looking.

Always amazes me that they repeat your order and still get it wrong. They employ youth, so that counts for something.

Just not what I can call quality food. I remember them in the 70s - So much better - and healthier I am sure - but hey = lots love Mc D's

I literally got pushed by a staff member walking into the store. I guess the customer in the parking lot was more important than me. She came back working the front counter but she was ignoring customers. I even spoke up and was ignored no apology or anything. Cane back 24 hours later and the self checkout is still out of paper lmao.

Seriously service at the Broadway McDonald's in has really started to go downhill
i order the same XL Coffee w/2 sugz EVERYDAY end having A MEAL FER 2 - 5 HANDED to me or even when i order my coffee and say "that's Everything! " &
They still ask do u want 2 apple pies fer 3.oo more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been too. They gave me the smallest poutine helping I've ever seen and they forgot to put straws in the bag and when I went in and asked for straws they laughed at me for complaining

Always a good fan of mcdonalds but unfortunately this one was ridiculously slow. I'll give a little but of leeway because the drivethru was packed, but even asking for ketchup packets took well over 5 minutes.

We waited for 25 minutes for a mocha this last weekend. No communication from staff as to why we were waiting so long. Staff were actively avoiding eye contact with us. We were on a road trip and in a hurry, the rest of our food was made and sat waiting for the mocha to be made before being handed to us. If we had been told the mocha was what was holding us up, we would have skipped it. Terrible service. The last time we will stop here, we will be stopping in Calgary for food before our next road trip.

It's what it is fast food prices are getting up there Imo, what happened to the dollar menu days? But average run of the mill as any other Mc. Donald's.

So my wife and I had the worst meal probably in both our lives. We shared 20 nuggets fries and a ice tea. We asked for it to be fresh. And hey McDonald’s that doesn’t mean put old nuggets back in the fryer so that all you taste is old deep fryer grease! And there is no sense calling head office because they don’t care either. In fact no one cares not the manager not the shift supervisors no one. Just look at all the comments and reviews that this restaurant gets. I couldn’t find one reply from a manager or shift supervisor what does that tell you.
