My experience here was nice and they are actually friendly to us the customers. Some reviews here are not very accurate when they said they’re not friendly. I disagree with that. I hope this restaurant is well recognized. You guys have a good day!

Just went there for a coffee the coffee was not made properly and the girl said they couldn't fix it and handed my hubby a stick and sugar and they are to fix it and then the girl called my hubby an old man very very rude

Been coming here for years and it's sad to see that no respect anymore walk in all I see is Filipinos speaking in there language and they dont care about there job or value employment very lazy when you ask them make it fresh but they dont they double dunk sneaky lazy. I don't see white or black or brown people working there mix it up mcdonald's stop importing foreign workers put the locals & kids who go to school a chance for employment. Last I checked English, French were spoken. Make employment fair with all colors ethnic backgrounds not predominantly Filipino

I travel a lot for work and McDonald’s is my favourite quick meal, I have been all around the world for work. THIS IS THE WORST MCDONALDS IN THE WORLD, Co2 always empty makes the coke taste bad the people they let hangout inside, food is always greased and dripping with it, eww

Slow service, if you get it. Super long waits at the drive through. Fries are never hot even though the restaurant always seems to be busy.

They constantly mess up my order! They missed my fries completely, the pop machine wasn't on and I had to ask someone to turn it on and when I opened my nuggets there were 5 and not 6. Stay away from this location! Tables were dirty too.

I always order mcdonalds for me and my kids esp if we dont have food to turn to at home.we drive tru, skip the dishes or used mcdelivery.it really happens that sometimes there is a missing item but this time its a chicken nuggets box worth of $10.please check orders double time or maybe triple coz its really hard to earn money at this moment.you all know that.

I've yet to ever have a great experience here in so many years. Fries were piping hot for a change, but the burgers were barely luke warm. The guy brings our food out on a tray. 2 empty cups and NO STRAWS. And I ordered a milkshake, and looked at him and asked if I have to go make the shake myself. Then had to go to the counter and ask for some napkins! They had no salt and pepper or condiments. And as usual, 3 tables of basic loitering folks. Not eating or drinking. Just hanging out at the tables. No staff ever came by to usher them to hang out elsewhere. This 17th Ave location is sadly one of the worst.

Stinky inside. Needs to be totally renovated. It felt dirty. I like the food of McDonald's but this place looks clean but doesn't smell clean.

This mcdonalds is located in a place of druggies! Walk in and saw the dining area full of homeless people.washroom is locked unable to open.when able to enger the washroom its filthy as heck.this place should be closed by AHS.this is the dirtiest mcdonalds ever! Not coming to this place again.will report this place to AHS.

Great service. Lobby and bathroom clean. Managers and crew joking around with eachother, but still Profesional with me. Good to see these days.

This is an isolated experience. My wife and I ordered two No. 3 combo bacon and egg with 2 coffee. We then ordered a medium orange juice as well. We stated we wanted to consume on site and presented vaccination proof and id. At that point we were informed the dining room was closed while at the same time, we mentioned people were already sitting there. It was then confirmed we were ok to stay. We were given the bill it was not a combo. It was 14 and change. We realized this not moments after. We then proceeded to get someone's attention only to be ignored multiple times. Someone came finally, and rectified the bill to make us pay more. We received our meal with a coffee made that was not requested properly and a small orange juice that that was paid for medium. After eating, my wife needed the washroom and they refused access because they argued that she can not use it since she did not purchase anything. I am the one who purchased the food while she was standing beside me. After a short argument, they decided to let her use it.
I contacted McDonald's headquarters instead of writing a review first to offer the opportunity to rectify the situation and to contact me. All my wife and I were offered through email with no call, were 3 medium coffee. This is a terrible experience to rectify with 3 coffee. I am disappointed with a capitalist corporate company that has the power to do more to make sure clients are satisfied.

This restaurant has the worst workplace environment in Calgary. The managers all treat the workers terribly and are very unprofessional. The food is always cold and stale. The workers prepping the food never wear gloves making for an unsanitary kitchen, especially during these COVID times. This McDonalds in particular seems very disorganized as they almost always get my order wrong. This place just seems like a mess.

This location is not a good one. The staff is rude, they don't ever, I mean ever, get the order right. There is so many panhandlers, as well as horrible drivers who come in the exit. Its angled parking, which means its a one way. I would avoid it if you could. The drive thru attendant can never understand you, and you have to repeat yourself constantly, which makes the constant errors in your order a mystery.

The store on 17 ave say they open at 5 yet when i got the door it was locked and the staff who saw me completly ignored me

I went to McDonald's at 3: 50 a.m. Wednesday morning and the service was so terrible and the gentleman couldn't figure out what I wanted and they were very rude and my sausage cheese McMuffins were cold and the bun wasn't toasted. He kept asking me my order and I would tell him and then he would tell me he can't do anything till 4: 00 a.m. Then he'd ask me my older again and he kept going through this. I had to sit there till 405 until the changeover and somebody pulled up after me and placed an order and he let them through and serve them and made me still wait. When I order my sausage McMuffin sandwich he asked me what size it's been the worst restaurant I've been to in years for service and it's been the best for stupidity

Worst experience of my life at a McDonald's restaurant. At 12: 20PM 09/08/2021 I ordered my usual Quarter-Pounder meal and I stayed to eat it in the parking lot while it was still hot - or so I thought. The fries I got were undercooked - soft floppy and cold and the burger was not fresh at all. I didn't eat any of the fries but tried to eat the burger as I needed to have my lunch. About 1/3 of the burger gone and it's just not worth eating, I threw it all back in the bag and went to the drive thru window. The window assistant told me she wanted my food back to show the manager so I passed them the bag, they said because I had ate some they would not offer me any refund. I told them I had to try my food to realize it wasn't good, and that it was absolutely disgusting and I did not want a replacement but a refund. They refused and I told them that this was not satisfactory service and that I would not leave the drive-thru until I recieved a refund. The manager responded to me with the words "you can sit there as long as you want I'll call the cops" and then she told her window assistant to call the cops and they shut the window on me. Absolutely disrespectful, and poor customer service, and to escalate to claiming they're calling the police on me for demanding a refund is absurd for a billion dollar corporation. This will be reported to cooperate office.

Overall I have a good experience getting food here. The odd time they'll mess up the order maybe once every 5-10times.

Probably one of the worst quality McDonald's in the city. I would say you get your order correct about 50% of the time. Not cool man.

THE MENU BOARD is TERRIBLE the screen changes before you get a chance to read it and then before it got back to where I originally was reading it went black?

Very frustrating not just for customers but also for the staff trying to stay cheerful when customer gets annoyed

Hope they change it back to a stationary menu that doesn't keep changing

Have yet to get an order of fries that are fresh and or that don't taste like they've spent a good 30+mins sitting under the heat lamps at the fry station. I don't understand why they would implement 2 simultaneous drive thru order stations yet still continue having no more than one employee taking the orders from both drive-thru stations. All they've really done is limited parking space. It's evident whoever thought to put the dual drive-thru ordering stations.clearly hadn't given much thought about by doing so - another employee to 'man' the new post should've been a given requirement! Juss saying ‍️

Intstatellers will not give. Me a receipt for our order so we can pay from in.teller has no idea what he was doing mah

Check your food to make sure it is the correct order, always lock your doors and windows, and if they are short staff they keep the doors locked. They won't tell you or put up signs either. If they don't have a male 'chaparone' for the lady staff, the drive thru is the only option.

Always busy. When the food is warm it's good. That's not always a guarantee. But they're quick and other than the occasional forgotten item I order, it's pretty good overall.

Ordered 2 happy meals in the drive thru. After leaving I found that they didn't give me any sauces, straws and toys. Won't be coming back to this location

I used to come here for breakfast almost every day, but I kept seeing different couriers leaving this place with the order that wasn't in a thermal bag. It was - 18 with a wind chill today, the food you are serving and sending to the customer is going to be cold without thermal bag. But this restaurant doesn't seem to care and therefore I am not going to support it any longer.

This place is hit and miss, mostly miss. Most of the time I seem to have to say hello to get someone to answer the drive-thru speaker and when they do answer they get my order wrong. There's either someone that's rude, a kid that's mumbles and seems so depressed, and then the manager that comes to the window is rude. Half the time my order is wrong and instead of correcting it tell me that's what I ordered. Very fruatrating.

This has got to be, by far, the worst McDonald`s I have ever been to. The service is bad, it took 15 minutes waiting for a nugget meal and then us having to ask where it was. Then they gave us cold nuggets. I had to use the washroom. I recommend you never do that. There was a druggie locked in the one stall in operation and the bathroom was filthy. I asked to use the men`s and it looked like it hasn`t been cleaned.ever. I`ve worked at two different McDonalds`s and will never go back to this location. They need to show some pride in their restaurant and keep the place clean. And maybe some better customer service while they`re at it. Seriously, One star is one too many.

Employees are consistently peeling back the monopoly stickers just enough to peek and see if it is the winner.

It's not the best McDonald's I've been to but it gets the job done.normally their are some pretty sketchy people around especially at the one on 17th ave. They never answer the ring for the washroom door which is not ideal when you have a 3 year old needing to go. Ice machine is normally not up to par and of course like every McDonald's in multiple locations your lucky if you show up on a day when the Ice cream machine is working. On a final note the back area with all the kids chairs and fun things has been closed for months with no sign of opening back up, over all nothing special about this location.

If all McDonald’s like this location stop eating McDonald’s. Nasty place and cleanliness especially with night shift. The old woman was working night shift, got my fries with hair. As my knowledge that all worker have to cover their hair.

I don't go to McDonald's that often, buy today I decided not to cook. It was the best meal I've had out in awhile. Funny how a Big Mac and some fries made this old lady happy. Thank you

Thought I’d take my son for a late summer ice cream. Good news - no line. Bad news - no food.

I’m sure their ice cream machine will be working in February. But the coffee will be broken.

Staff also had no idea where the closest operational McDs would be.

Great staff, I've never once had an issue at this location and have been coming here for years. The food is delicious as always!

I enjoy that they have the dollar drinks right now the only issue I have is having people passed out at the tables and having people loitering in front of the McDonald’s when you leave it makes me feel uneasy

This place always has a distasteful cashier at night, very impatient/uncaring, wouldnt allow me to add on to my order once i was at the window, didnt explain why, and i was the only one in drive thru.

This is one of the worst McDonald's in the city. You get faster services from hookers hanging around.

I go to McDonald's to order a small coffee and it does not matter which one it is they always get it right. "Small coffee with 2 sugars in a medium cup with the rest filled with hot water. " Perfection!

Tbe mobile order is pretty slick, just dont go through the west entrance as if its busy idiots create two lanes instead of the one and you cant get through.

You don't deserve my 1 star. I was missing 1 sticker for a free medium coffee and asked if she could use the sticker from the cup I'm about to get. She said I have to buy a cup so I gave her $150. A small coffee cost $1.55 so handed me back my change. A customer behind me gave me a quarter, so I paid $1.55. She hands me a medium coffee and that's all. I paid for a small so give me a small and my stickers back stupid. That black girl will work at McDonald's the rest of her life if she doesn't get fired. No brains there

So I go today 45 mins ago and me and my grandpa order food and then my grandpa needs to go to the bathroom and the bathroom is locked they took 20 min to unlock the bathroom the service is bad nasty poor and don’t go there

I got my sandwich incomplete.no bun at the bottom.and we went back to drive thru the lady was trying to tell us that we lied.also I ordered my fries extra crispy but its they gave me regular.requested again for new one and they gave me.crispy but very salty.amazing job.we will escalate this to main office

One of the most well cleaned and well maintained branches in the area. Compare it with Marlborough branch and you'll know what I'm saying.

The food was fresh, and the order was correct this time. Though the Crack addict was very much in a hurry to meet his dealer, he waited for some time there after.

I've had one of the worst experiences with this location. I ordered online through skip the dishes. When the delivery came, it was a completely wrong order. The order slip was correct but the contents of the bag was completely wrong and far off from being correct. We called this location and they confirmed that they have the wrong order and have our order on their counter at the store. However, they do not have anyone available to bring back our food and also asked us if we could drive ourselves to the store and bring the bag with the wrong order with us to return to the store. We ordered through skipthedishes so we wouldnt have to leave the house at 12am to get food. But, we wanted our correct order so we drove there only to be greeted by one of the rudest employee at the window. When we tried to talk to her, before we could even finish a sentence she would walk away. She apologized with the most monotone voice while looking completely annoyed of us. Not only that, we were told on the phone that our order was at the store but the moment we got to the store, we were then told that the smoothies we paid for were no longer available because they ran out. The thing is, we could see one of the two smoothies of the flavour we ordered sitting on their counter. My assumption is that someone else after us ordered one and they sold it to that person instead of prioritizing that order for us knowing we were on our way. The manager who i assume, answered the phone didnt even talk to us or apologize in person. This was such a disappointing experience. This situation was handled poorly and the staff at the window was unprofessional.

So we ordered online for delivery using skip the dishes and when the food arrived they gave us a completely different order than what we paid for. When we called the store to inform them of the situation, a lady answered (im assuming the manager) and she made us drive to the store to bring back the food and retrieve our correct order because theres no one available to delivery it. She also guaranteed that we would receive our correct order but when we got there they weren’t even able to fulfill what we originally ordered and the manager wasnt even there to apologize or handle our situation. The lady helping us at the window was rude and kept walking away when we tired to communicate with them. Overall, the situation was handled very poorly and unprofessionally.

I think that the staff works relatively well given the area and the people that go here are for the the most part not well off
