Though I haven't yet gotten a job since working with MCG, there courses and support have made things easier for me to continue looking for work without feeling discouraged about how long it's been since I've worked. They helped me learn that some skills I've gained over my absence from working are still useful in a workplace.

I took the the Rebrand program, it was a great opportunity to gain employment skills and meet new people and learn a-lot, the facilitators work hard to meet everyones needs and help you out with getting employment, They teach you about what employers are looking for as well as showing you different fields of work, would recommend!

An Awesome Experience with MCG Careers, the facilitators and their mode of teaching is just a good way to learn, I love the fact that I got there with nothing and came out with lots of certification, Employment skills, and so much more say. Thanks to Oyin, Natasha, my co-Learners for being very supportive and encouraging to everyone. It was a nice experience. I would encourage/urge everyone looking for employment to attend the Rebrand Program as it will also be a great experience for you. As a young adult who felt stuck where I was at, the Rebrand program really helped me develop my skills and realize my own potential and get out of my rut both career wise but also mentally. They not only help you develop employment skills but they also help you learn about yourself, help you identify your strengths and help you combat your weaknesses. I would recommend this program to any young adult who is having issues navigating "grown up" jobs.

MCG's Rebrand program was the best experience I've had in a while. From coordinators to facilitators to the team work. I would definitely recommend this program 100%. Thank you Oyin and Natasha for reassuring me and motivating me to do more and be more.

MCG careers are honestly a good programm and helped me learned alot about work place, basic computer skill and teached me recognise my self.

I throughly enjoyed my time here and the rebrand program specifically helped me prepare for the “real world” and taught me valuable work skills!

Gained multiple certificates, Better formatted my resume to my needs, socialized again post-pandemic, and found work quickly thanks to pre-established connections. Would recommend.

I referred someone to the Growth4U program and am disappointed with his experience there. MCG does not have the agency connections to assist people; nor do they seem to have employment connections. There are other agencies who have similar programs funded by Service Canada that can help with getting bus tickets, housing, etc, and get their clients to work quickly. I would suggest OSP or Jasper Place Wellness.
Unfortunately, a one on one meeting every other week for one hour out of the day for months on end might be okay if one has the privilege of time and money and a network of support; however, most people who have mental health issues do not have those privileges.
I am unsure, but this rather lacking program may be due to MCG private for-profit business frame rather than a non-profit agency.
In any case, I would not refer again.

This place is awesome experience for lost individuals like me,
Interactive, Educational, and all around a great way to advance your skill set for your future.

MCG edmonton team has helped aid me in my job search and learn valuable knowledge to take with me into the workforce and into my own life.

This program is very helpful, over the 8 weeks I gained a lot of skills, and certifications to help me in my future job search.

My experience with MCGs has been an incredible and hugely impactful time for me, with their help I have grown and gained so many new skills and confidence in all aspects of life, especially in the employment community. I enjoy the people who I've met and the activities and courses we have gone through. I've made many new friends and found many new resources with the help of Oyin and Natasha at Rebrand. I look forward to the last few weeks of my program and I encourage others to join and invest their time into this program as well.

MCG Careers helped me not feel so lost right out of high school.the facilitators Natasha and Oyin are great and teach you useful things and give personal experiences too. Its a great paid program that will net you certificates like first aid and whimis etc along with a job at the end.

The G4U program is an amazing and extremely helpful program, they are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, they make sure I’m comfortable with everything and really care about me.

Dee is the greatest facilitator out there! I wouldn’t ask for anything better, If it wasn’t for MCG I would have never been able to find a job I am very happy with the knowledge MCG has provided me!

Facilitator Dee is the best facilitator you can ever find out there, The workshops were all good but the entreprenuership workshop is not practical at all, It's good information but you cannot apply it in real life, I would suggest they bring someone who is within our age group and has succeeded in making their ideas in to businesses and the steps they followed to make it happen, Something practical not just information

I think the MCG program is an amazing program to help you get back on your feet and find yourself again. It pushes you to successfully pursue your goals while giving you the opportunity to learn amazing skills that you can use in life and the workplace. MCG has changed the outlook I have on the world and helped me find motivation within myself again. Deatria and Natasha are so genuine and encouraging, which pushed me to want to succeed even more. I would recommend this program to anyone, as it has forever changed my life for the better and I know it will change yours too.

I enjoyed every day of the Rebrand program they offer. It's a great way for young adults to learn more about themselves. They provide helpful tools to learn more about certain aspects in the working world. The coordinators are great people and really bring out awesome atmosphere. The class can be flexible as well if you need a day for appointments or if something happens as long as you let them know you have something going on. As well they assist in job searching and finding potential employers. I would highly recommend them for those young adults who think they can't find employment or are having trouble finding employment. It's an amazing course and it's something that I will always remember.

I had an amazing experience with MCG careers. I was getting no where with my career until I went into their program and that is where I found a daycare that was willing on giving me a shot so I was able to get my childcare level 1 and because of MCG finding me that daycare I am now registered in college to do my level 2 and I can't wait to continue my career in childcare. I participated in the MCG Rebrand course and it was so good and had taught me many things I didn't know along with Revamping my resume. 10/10 Deatria best teacher.

I got my level two hear, absolutely loved my teacher dy! Wonderful experience I had a lot of help from all the staff, I didn't find the course difficult at all, if I struggled I had instant help I would recommend this place to anybody. I have now been in the field 2 years and absolutely love it it's changed my life.

I learned of this course via internet. This course is very well planed and executed. All teachers and course manager were very helpful. I did my level one and two from here. Somehow I feel they should have level 3 as well. It just feels incomplete. They also help for practicum as well as job placement. They kept a regular check to see if we are doing well at work and if they can be of any assistance. Thank you for this opportunity. Waiting for level 3.

I joined the Rebrand program at MCG Careers in late 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic as a recently graduated high school graduate looking for guidance in employment search and job opportunities. My fellow cohorts were generally quite cooperative and the classes went by smoothly with few difficulties. The class material itself was not always entirely useful for what I need, but they were relaxed and easy nonetheless. The instructors and managers are helpful and do their job well. My biggest gripe was that they had to adjust it to exclusive online class meetings via Zoom as a result of the lockdown, when I was really looking forward to productive in-person discussion at the facility upon applying for the program. Despite this, my overall experience was undoubtedly positive and I recommend MCG for anyone seeking help with local employment search.

MCG gave me an opportunity to rebuild my career and I found myself interested in Child care program. My mentors at MCG guided me in completing CDW program successfully. The staff at MCG are very cooperative and understanding. At MCG, they trained and educate me in Childcare as per standard process.

I had an amazing experience during one of the programs at MCG careers. Natasha and Dee helped me a lot to be better, and work on my skills and talents. Enjoyed being on this program.

The ReBrand program at MCG has been very helpful with helping me rewrite my resume and cover letter, as well as teaching some useful employability and interview skills. The computer portion of the program may be unnecessary for those who have taken university classes, but it works as a basic refresher.

Meet the team at a trade show in fort Saskatchewan. Biggest waste of time spent. When they said my husband needed a new resume and they could refresh it so his resume would look more inviting, they took 4 days to do this. The resume was very poorly done. Didn’t even line up. The woman that did this didn’t even come up with a cover letter. My husband came out of this saying it’s the biggest waste of government money.

Grown so much as an individual and would recommend attending any of the programs they offer. The staff is very friendly and it's easily accessible by bus or train.

My experience with MCG Careers as a Job Coach has been awesome. Must say I was lucky to work with such a friendly and dedicated team where each staff from all the current programs can be termed as engaged employee who are motivated and passionate about extending helping hands to fulfill each client's needs. Moreover, work environment was non-toxic and management was very cooperative. These factors are so essential for organizational growth and employee development.
