MCI The Doctor's Office Beacon Hill

Reception are great for the times I have been there. One doctor is great.
Unfortunately recently the other doctor sent me to X-rays but 3 days passed and when I called.results were back and no one called me because there was no issue with my foot. Isn't the doctor meant to let me know after the results come in? Weird way to treat patients! Still have pain in my foot. I guess I have to try another doc.

My son cut his eyebrow and we went to this walk-in as it was the closest option.
The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. We waited less than 1 minute and doctor invited us. He glued the stitch and my son is fine now. I’m very thankful to this clinic.

Not really any complaints. Wait times were decent. The Doctor (sorry, can't remember their name) was professional. When I called in, the receptionist was nice and helpful.

I've had far worse walk-in experiences. I'll probably come back here.

I called the clinic at 10: 57am to see if I can see a doctor. I told the receptionist on the phone that I just had a baby three days ago and I have bad swollen feet and pain. She told me to come right away and she will let me see the doctor right away. I arrived at the clinic at 11: 15 am, they told me I had to wait for one hour. I have been waiting for 1 hour and half (and still waiting). I’m really surprised they couldn’t let me see a doctor sooner. I hasn’t able to sit on the chairs comfortably because I just had a baby and I couldn’t take the pain. It seems like to me they don’t care what situation you’re in if you’re dying or alive. Whoever comes first goes first. But the receptionist shouldn’t have told me she was going to be take me in right away because I could have went somewhere else to see a doctor sooner.

When in clinic I had no issues but I was getting a throat swab and I was told I would have my results in 24 hours. I was there around noon or one on Friday and it is Monday and they still have it in clinic. And now I am in so much pain that I have to take the antibiotics even though it is not confirmed to be a bacterial infection yet. This is exactly why antibiotics are overused. The doctor told me start anyways. I tried to explain to reception that if that is the protocol and time it takes that’s fine but tell me that. She was defensive and just said it will probably be Tuesday later or Wednesday I hear. I have a job and am unable to go unless I have some answers. And strep untreated can cause many other issues so 6 days after visiting the doctor seems unacceptable. Go anywhere else for swabs if you think you have strep

I went for my Driver's medical checkup for a commercial license. The receptionist was very kind. The waiting time was ok. It was not too long compared to the number of patients. Dr. Ephraim Mahlase was examining me. He was very polite and friendly. Everything went very smoothly and fast. Thanks to Dr. Mahlase, Reception/ Customer service team and MCI.

Dr. Mahlase. Really bad experience. I took a taxi to go there for the HPylori prescription. The Dr.very quick with me, refering me to my family Dr with most of my
questions. Then, at pharmacy, I realized the prescription I got, for some reason, contains only anitacid, as oposed to that, plus an antibiotic treatment. Pharmacy had to send a fax to the Dr office and then wait for the fax back with the right prescription. I didn't want to leave empty handed, so, overall, I was there for 3 hours. In the meantime, I found out that the proper prescription now contained atibiotics I can't tolerate. (At the initial, previous, visit this information was provided- I am allergic to one of the antibiotics and can't tolerate the second, that were now prescribed). Dr Mahlase responded to this, that he doesn't know an alternative treatment, to ask pharmacist for sugestions, OR go to another doctor. (!) Really? Even I can find alternatives online. The ladies working at his office were very helpful and kind. Too bad that because of the doctor I waisted so much of my time. Before handing a prescription to a patient he needs to see what's on it, before prescribing anything, he needs to talk to the patient about the medication. He seems too busy to do this. Knowing the alternative to what he prescribes would be nice too.

Doctor was just going on lunch and reception kindly ask if he could see my son and he said yes! This doctor is the only walk in do toe and works 9-8! Great service really really appreciate!

The reception here doesn’t follow first come first serve they just send people in as they will.

I took my daughter to this clinic this morning as a walk in. We only had to wait 30ish minute before we were taken to the room. Receptionists were really nice and professional. Doctor Qureshi was amazing and really helpful. She was extremely gentle with my daughter. She listened to all our concerns and answered all the questions. Highly recommend this clinic and doctor too.

It says they open at eight. We drove across town because it opened at eight and after a fall it was important to see a dr. Waited until 8: 30 and absolutely no one showed up. Update your schedule so you don’t waste peoples time. This is peoples health you are messing with.

Than after results stated sprained arm and shoulder problems was unable to see doctor because they refused walk ins for wks on end. Was unable to do follow up to return to work
Therefore was unable to receive income replacement from work
Resed to allow to speak to doctor even over phone. Seems like they they have no care for patience what's ever charged me 30 dollars cash only for doctor notes

Was at the clinic first thing when they opened as I needed to see a walk in doctor regarding a UTI. To start the doctor was 45mins late, then even after she arrived I sat in the patient room for a hour till I was finally seen. The doctor never introduced herself, I can only assume it was Dr Narendra Makan as this was the female doctor listed for walk ins. When explaining my concern and symptoms she was quite rude and promptly asked if I had a family doctor. I explained my difficulties getting into my family doctor, hence why I came to a walk in and was told I should have shown up to their office as any doctor at the clinic would be able to see me if I couldn’t see my family doctor. She further assessed me, explained labs would be sent and I would have to follow up with my family doctor. She even asked if I could drop off my own sample to the lab which caught me off guard. I asked given my symptoms what can be done in the mean time and was told to drink water and flush my system…biggest waste of two hours. As a healthcare worker myself it’s incredibly disappointing to have had such a negative interaction while trying to access healthcare during a time when accessibility is so tough.

Hours posted are not reflective of their actual hours. Arrived right at 8am, and their website said they would be open. They weren't.

The doctors might be okay there but the receptionist is rude. Like really rude! Definitely changing clinics. Thank God my doctor is going to a different clinic so will be transferring my files to the new clinic. We have been with the MCI at beacon hill for about 8 years but the new receptionist doesn’t know how to talk.

Their website says they're open from 8 am. I'm here 8: 20am and they're not open. Please post the correct time.

Pathetic management. Website clearly states they are open at 8am. Brought a sick 10 month old and waited in the car until 8: 20am. No note on their front door giving the real opening time (they opened at 9) and when I called back their only excuse was that management doesn't allow for notes on the door. You are playing with people's health. Absolute garbage.

I had an appointment at 8am that they confirmed. Me and at least 6 others were waiting till 830 and no one showed up to the office

Worst clinic and customer experience. Waited for 2 hours to get checked in and told them I’m in pain. After 2 hours of waiting finally got to talk to the doctor and told that I should go to the ER and that time is of the essence. Well it was a waste of time.

Unsure why this place has so many bad reviews but oh well. We have been seeing Dr. Ressl since 2018 I think (we had another amazing doctor before him but he retired) and he has been taking care of the entire family. He is not always on time but caring. One of my kids had a speech and motor delay and he got us an appointment at a pediatrician clinic very fast. He also handled my second pregnancy up until I was maybe 5 months prego. Good doctor! No issue with the reception. They have always been nice on the phone.

We took our 2 year old son to the clinic as walk in. Receptionists and nurse were super friendly. We were lucky that there were no one waiting so we were seen right away by dr. Mahlase. Yes, it only took him less than 10 minutes to diagnose and prescribe for my son’s pink eye and throat infection after a check up. However I perceived it as the doctor appreciates my time and knows what he is doing. He didn’t ask too many questions because the nurse had already put down the symptoms on the profile before he came in, I kind of appreciate that I didn’t have to repeat myself. If you are like me who is busy with work and life, I recommend this clinic.

Sent my 17 year old son here with a sore throat and he came home with a prescription for prednisone and penicillin without taking a throat swab. Total assumptions without facts. No questions asked about what medications he is on or his life style. Three minutes with a doctor.

Took my son there to see a Dr, we walk in around 630 and reception tells me they are closing an hour early lol. We were the only 2 people in the waiting room. I have worked over 10 years in health care and not once have we refused to help a patient or even ask what the issue is. 28 degrees must be barbeque season. Hours of operation 8am till 8pm.or whenever they want.

Went to this walk in clinic because I got kicked in the back of my head playing keeper in soccer. When the doctor came all he did was touch my head and told me that Advil will make my head hurt less. Advil didn’t really help so I made a appointment with my family doctor. When he saw me he told me that I had a concussion. The doctors at this clinic need to be better.

We brought our son here to check for an ear infection and possible pink eye. My 3 year old would say hello to Dr Mahlase who never once said hello back. Very rude. He was quick to write 2 prescriptions without looking at him closely. He speaks over you and very dismissive. So disappointed in our Healthcare system.and this doctor. Won't be using again.

At first, I called them to ask if I could be walk-in at 1530. They replied me yes you could. Its still available so I don’t need to make appointment.
However, they just told me the available time is 1730 when I get to there at 1500.

When I think that’s the only thing could complain about this clinic, the worst thing’s came. Before I leave the clinic at around 1510, I made an virtual appointment at 1730. I already provide my health card and phone number to them. They said the doctor will call me at that time. But I still can’t get any calls from the clinic even now 1815. I don’t know would they use your health card number to claim other things or not. They just make me feel disappointed to this chain clinic. Thanks.

If I could give no stars I would. If you want a rude doctor and you enjoy feeling like a nuisance, this is your jam! Don’t be fooled by the amazing front end staff here as they are about as pleasant as you will get at this location. The doctor was rude, couldn’t care less to listen to my problems and kept telling me to talk to my primary care doctor even tho I explained to him I moved and can no longer see my primary care doctor, hence why I am using a walk in clinic! This was supposed to be a happy experience confirming a new addition to our family but I left in tears and no answers to any of my questions. Go talk to your primary care physician is all I was told. Why do you operate as a walk in if you don’t want to help people? If you don’t love your job as a doctor I suggest you find a new profession because what you do, how you act and how you treat your patients impacts them in way you clearly don’t understand!

Went to this clinic few times.

Not a good service, not a good doctor, sitting in the front desk often does not care about the customers. NOT GOING AGAIN.

What a pathetic clinic. I went in today as a walk in patient. The receptionist was downright rude. I had some pain on my right side of my neck. I had no other symptoms. She advised me the doctor would only do a phone call. She assumed that i had covid. I called another walk in clinic and put me on there walk in list. When i got to the other clinic the wait was minimal and got to see a Doctor. What a contrast. From the earlier reviews on this clinic in Beacon Hill its no wonder its rated poorly. Why even open as a clinic when you cant provide walk in service. Final note please send the receptionist packing. Absolutely no customer service skills.

Dr. Willaim Russell is one the nicest doctor. He listen to his patients with patience.
The receptionist are always too busy, they lack in management and professionalism.

I went to a pharmacy to pick up my daughters prescription as I was informed by the “Doctor” that it should be ready in an hour- coming to know that they haven’t even sent it to the pharmacy yet -when I asked the pharmacist. So I phoned MCI spoke to “Jennifer” and I was informed that the Doctor is busy reason why it was not sent. I was asking why did this happened? Jennifer didn’t even apologize and hanged up on me while I am talking on the phone. Vey rude and wrong! No phone etiquette.

This clinic does not care about their patients and does not respect time.

The funny part is -this is the 2nd time that this happened to us.

Well, I guess we need to find new clinic who takes care of their patients.

PS: Wait time here is crazy! Your appointment is 1 but you have to wait 30-60
minutes more.tsk!

Superior staff works there! Every time I phoned into this clinic, I was greeted nicely and they are respectful of my inquiry/appointment information, as well, go above and beyond standard customer service! I was rarely put on hold, and the wait times are very standard; the staffs will acknowledge you as you walked in, and provide timely update if needed. Excellent clinic! Just to mention one of the superstars there - JT way to go!

I deeply recommend this clinic. The front desks are friendly, the doctor spend time with you without rushing. I knew this clinic by my friend recommend with her good experience. So did I, I changed my family doctor with this clinic after my first visiting.

This practice is brutal, if you can avoid please do. I never wrote a review before but this will be the first time since I'm dissapointed in this practice. This will be directed at the front staff as they couldn't handle their job

The front staff lacks any empathy towards their patients. On a Sunday they had only one doctor on staff. We waited for two hours and we were the first walk in on the list. Why advertise walk ins if you can't handle a single one?

A group in front of us was checked in wrongly as a walk in when they had an appointment. They waited for an hour before talking to the front desk and when the couple were speaking to the front desk they had wanted nothing to do with it. After they found out it was their mistake and they checked in the patient wrong, they were all ears and were apologetic.

The staff were more worried about shutting down at 1pm then taking care of the patients. Try to avoid.

My family has visited this place a handful of times when our regular family Doctor was away and we have been some impressed by the bed-side manner, the patience and warmth this place has showed. They're usually able to squeeze you in as a walk in patient and are very attentive and thorough. Would definitely recommend!

One of the worst clinics I've had the displeasure of visiting. The front desk is bored, and non attentive, the male physician scheduled to see me was 28 minutes late, and was rude to top it off. Do not waste your time at this clinic.

RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS OFFICE!

Horrible with following up. Will send you for blood work/xrays/tests and never follow up with you, even if you call to follow up. (Got told they came back today and I'd get a call later that day). Will be finding a new doctor.

Really happy with my experience. I had called another walk in clinic who said they had 5 walk in patients in line and it would be a couple hours. So I called this clinic who also had 5 patients for walk in plus appointments. I was told another doctor was starting at 5 (I called at 436) so I got my 12 month old ready and headed over. I was in and out by 545 and that included those 5 walk ins plus appointments. I was really impressed with how organized and friendly all the staff was.

I love that this walk in clinic takes appointments. Even though you still might have to wait a little bit I think wait times are less than if you walk in without an appointment.

Amazing walk in - 5 doctors on the day we walked in with a family emergency. We waited less than 10 min to be looked at and Doctor and staff were super friendly, fast and efficient. Highly recommend this clinic - THUMBS UP!

This is the most inept medical office i have been to in my 50 years. They have written at least 5 wrong prescriptions for my family, 1.one was for my son with penicillin in which is on his file that he is allergic, thank goodness pharmacist caught it. 2. Dr Dong wrote order for xray for my daughters knee which she hurt, he wrote down the wrong knee so we had to wait while they contacted office to do x ray. 3. Gave my another patients request for a mamogram. 4. Gave me two incorrect prescriptions 5. Gave my daugther prescription for rosacea instead of one for acne. Asking me why I still am going there? It was out of convenience and my family liked Dr. Cenabre. Each of these mistakes were made by other doctors.

A good portion of the experience of visiting a Dr.s office is the administration. And after my recent experience at this office, I have decided to move clinics in hopes to find an office that respects my time as much as their own. I arrived 5 min before my appt.started, then sat there for 35 min with out any comments or interaction. I could hear some discussion happening behind the desk about delays and a "procedure" that was tying the Dr.s time up. I was shot a couple of looks, however, no one bothered to come talk to me.
I approached the front desk and was told, even being a half hour behind, the procedure is not complete. Also, someone is still in front of me. So a minimum of another half hour wait!

What bothered me was the indifference of the staff, like my time is less valuable. They would have just let me sit there for over an hour with out advising me or asking if I wanted to reschedule. Not impressed, and gauging by the reviews they have been struggling with this issue for sometime. This is not a new issue.

I have been with MCI Doctors office for more than a year and my experience with Dr. Mitry is highly satisfactory.
He is very a very good listener and understands patients condition and needs and provides meaningful suggestions and advice.
He is very punctual with his appointment and happy to book appointment for any of my health concerns. Recently I was sick visiting Mexico and I called the office with my blood work and he was able to review and provide consultation and prescriptions to my remote residence place.
Overall it is very good doctors office and I highly recommend Beacon hill office.

I’ve been here and got the treatment from DR Mistry. I love this clinic because the MOA at front desk were very nice to me and very polite and able to help me if I needed to book appointments. The Dr Mistry was very awesome and he’s very friendly and be helpful when he did the temple irrated mole excision for me. He did very well, efficient and didn’t waste my time. I would like to recommend this clinic for Everyone who lives close by the Sherwood, Beacon hill or Evanston.:)

Waiting time more than 45 mints, if you guys not able to see walk in passion no need to promos them 25 mints. Simple write small sign walken passion it takes one hour.

Always had a good experience here. I’m always able to get in right away and see a doctor. The doctors have been very helpful and answer my million questions in regards to the prescriptions.

Dr Zabal is amazing doctor he listen to my concerns and address each concern.very knowledgeable doctor with good bed side manner too.
