MCI The Doctor's Office Beddington

I had de-roofing surgery this past Friday evening with healing by secondary intention. I have giant open wounds all over my buttocks and perianal region. I was prescribed one Tylenol 3 every 6hrs. I have to change my bandages every 12 hours after the first 24hrs. So on Saturday evening I tried to do it, I was in too much pain, I even tried taking two Tylenol 3's and even that was not helping. I walked in this morning Sunday November 12th to MCI Beddington to see a doctor desperate for help to manage the pain.

There was only one doctor working in the clinic this morning "Dr. " Sarasa Tijani. I explained to him the situation. And the level of pain that I am experiencing. I told him that my family doctor is on vacation until December 1st. And he said he would help me, he then walked out of the room. Came back and said that he was going to prescribe Hydro something. But then in the same breath he said he did not have any triplicate prescriptions available and that I should go to the emergency room to have my bandages changed.

I need my bandages changed every 12 hours. I don't understand how this would be a solution to my problem. I am more than capable of changing them when not at a level 8 pain. I will speak with the person who performed my the surgery tomorrow morning (hopefully), but I don't and will never understand why he couldn't help me for just 24 hours. In my eyes he is a monster. I don't understand how you could let anybody leave your office while bleeding through their pants and crying for help. He should have his licence revoked. He's cruel and neglectful.

The hours say open from 9am to 9 pm, however I showed up at 130pm and was told no doctor til 6pm and told to go somewhere else.

The first thing you do when entering is to declacre your ailment to the entire waiting room. It's not private at all, and the people at reception force you to say it out loud.

You will wait forever. Hours and hours and hours.

I called in the morning they said come between 3 and 5 and I get there between that and they say nope can't help you. This office is useless! And rude

I’m disappointed with the new doctors they have at this clinic. I have been going to this walk in clinic all my life and I had nothing but good doctors. They were very honest and very helpful when I reached out to them for medical assistance and always knew what to do. There one doctor that wouldn’t shove drugs down your throat for mental disorders but rather give you other coping mechanisms for it. Both doctors I have seen my entire lifetime have retired and when they left they took a big part of this walk in that once used to be worth walking into.

Im not one to go into a walk in unless I really need to, last time I went I told the doctor that I need to get a few things checked up and done and they looked at me and asked me which one I’d like to get done that day instead of doing it all in one visit.

I am upset and frustrated that they would hire doctors that are only willing to do so much rather then give you the medical attention you need.

I honestly wish I could give 0 stars. We went in 3 times once the wait was 6+ hours and we’re turned away another I waited 3 hours only to not move on the list and give up and then another time we waited 2 hours and saw Dr. Srikisson. We requested referrals to Paediatricians for our children and needed a speech language pathologist referral for our 4 year old. This was in May. I waited 3 months and still hadn’t heard. Called the office today. Turns out after HOURS UPON HOURS of waiting no referrals were sent for anything. We are at square one. This is medical negligence. My children DESERVE BETTER DO BETTER

The most stupidest experience I've ever had with a doctor. Had sore throat, cough and some trouble in ear. The doctor didn't even bother to look into my throat to check and didn't wanna listen to the trouble I was having with my ear. He was just standing right on the door ready to leave and I literally had to stop him to tell him more about my problem. Eventually, I gave up because he just didn't want to listen and run to see the next patient already! Just a money making business. Such a waste of time and taxpayers money for these kind of people who call themselves doctors. They should be ashamed!

After waiting 2 months to see a dr they phone me and say they are cancelling the appointment as they aren’t taking any more patients….

You wait and wait and then they finally call your name just to leave you there waiting in a different room for even longer. It’s so frustrating. I even called 5 mins before arriving and there was only 2 people waiting. Almost 2 hours and I ended up just leaving without being seen because I can’t take an entire afternoon off to get a prescription refill. I’m sure they haven’t even noticed I left yet. Health care is so frustrating here especially when your doctor moves and it takes over a year to find a new doc. It’s like hearding cattle and everyone is way too overbooked at the same time.

Excellent clinic, receptionist was very professional and Dr Bharanini was wonderful. She listened to my concerns and did a thorough examination. I was very pleased with this service.

I don't recommend. Waste of time and poor management. Work based on their own slicking time.

Awful awful awful. If you're sick don't go here. I was really sick and could barely talk and the ancient "Doctor " didn't even examine me. Turns out I had Strep and needed antibiotics. I'm also second guessing the treatment he gave my daughter for a gnarly infection. Go anywhere but to this place.

I call today Monday January 31 at 7pm. No one picked up. When I went online they say they at capacity. If it supposed to be a walk in clinic and they do not take walk ins. So I tried 2 more times no answer I understand that sometimes the receptionist is busy. But how am I suppose to make
an appointment when no one will pick up the phone. Because it is mo longer a walk in This has happened to me more than once. It never used to be that. It was at one time a really good clinic for service. Makes me very sad.

This is one of the most friendly MCi you will ever go too don't be card go go in with old people or kids they treat you like family as I been with them for a very long time sure my doctor may of moved but I still go back and see them as there the best place to go

Customer service is severely lacking. Staff doesn't seem happy to be there at all. Doctors push catholicism and want you to come in for every refill so they can milk AHC. Go elsewhere if u can.

0 STARS, rude receptionists and faulty business hours! I walked in around 6: 30PM with a 102° fever hoping to see a doctor. The receptionists told me they were closed with no doctors yet their hours were until 9 PM and the door was open. They both had an attitude when I didn't leave fast enough, but being so sick I couldn't exactly rush out the door as quickly as humanly possible. Terrible service, and just rude. Ended up at Airdrie Urgent Care where I was seen very quickly.

I was hesitant to go to this clinic due to the reviews, however took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The front desk admin were very friendly and the doctor was good. I was in and out within 30 minutes.

They don’t have a doctor at consistent hours during their open hours. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Brutal experience - you’re honestly better off going to a pharmacy. I went with very clear strep throat symptoms. Doctor barely took a look at my throat and told me I didn’t have it. I had to ask several times for a swab and he was hesitant to do even this. I visited a pharmacy on my way home at which the pharmacist conducted a rapid strep swab for $20.00. It came back very clearly positive and I was prescribed medication that evening. The doctor was inattentive and completely invalidated my symptoms and concerns. Horrible bedside manner.
Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

This clinic doesn’t care about the patients - they are clueless and rude! Worst clinic - don’t waste your time with this clinic.

I had to give 1 star but would give zero if I could. Scheduled an appointment to meet with a physician for my 2 daughters in December, the appointment was for the end of January. Our appointment time was 11: 15am. At 11: 45 we still hadn’t been called so I asked the admin staff if they knew how long it would be as I had to return to work and my daughters to school. I was told that there were no available exam rooms and that I would have to wait. 10 additional minutes and I asked again, by this time it was lunch and most of the staff had left the desk. I was told that the doctor was still seeing patients and there was no estimate on time. We left as we had other commitments. I don’t understand why a physician would be accepting new patients when they are clearly overbooked to begin with. I’m used to waiting 10-15 minutes for my primary physician but waiting 40min with no end in sight is ridiculous. The staff were rude and did not try to fix the situation by either offering an explanation for the delay or to schedule an appointment for another day. Our search for a physician continues.

Staff and doctor were rude and not helpful. I politely asked that they would check my throat as I was certain I had strep, the doctor refused. They wouldn’t prescribe me antibiotics, and told me to be on my way. I went to my family doctor the next mornings got what I needed immediately. If you go here, prepare to leave with no help and a staff that genuinely do not care one bit. Avoid at all costs, go to a family doctor or some other walk-in that will actually help.

Bad clinic ever, I called them they told me to come, when I went there they don't accept any more patients, I advise every one don't go to this clinic.

Dr Hoy has been my GP for 30+ years. He does an exceptional job for me and is willing to go the extra mile. I do wish he would never retire. His receptionist and nurse assistant also are very cordial and willing to help when it comes to appointments etc.

This should have been a 0 review. Dr. Adebona did not provide consent or discuss procedure and did an internal exam on a patient. Very unprofessional. Provided wrong medication. Had to go to a different walk in the next day because of symptoms getting worse. He took advantage of a patient in pain and rushed and misdiagnosed patient. This doctor is being reported to the CPSA

Waited for 15 minutes while front desk has nobody sitting to help.many patience waiting for help.they were all inside having a birthday party and we can hear them celebrating!

Didn’t come out until my wife got in told them that many people out waiting for help!

And after an hour and 10 minutes, I had to leave without seeing a doctor with an infection around my surgery’s stitches

Rude. Charged $100 for paper work that should have been $30! Didn't even fill it out correctly.
Shouldn't be a physician. At least not in this country.

Terrible. Went 45 minutes before closing. Not a person in the waiting room or the mall as it was 8: 15pm. Refused to take any patients citing they reached maximum capacity. Receptionist and other staff member were chatting. Very understandable why they get the reviews that they do.

Came in for an issue with an infection. Got prescribed medication that could kill me. Not overly impressed with the lack of caring on the doctors part. When asking if you are allergic to anything, maybe pay attention to what you prescribe. I wouldn't recommend coming here after this.

Pathetic place for medical service…. Obnoxious staff, does not answer phone call ever, talk to desperate patient while munching chewing gum with least empathy. MCI NOTE you are getting paid for the service you provide bring little (expectation is low from you guys) ethics.

In and out in under an hour staff were very nice doctor was very thorough I was hesitant because of the reviews but I went anyways cuz it was close to where I live and I was very satisfied

3 times I have tried to walk in on sunday.called at 5 pm and they already said that they are nor receiving patients! Closing time is at 8.very disappointed

Guess he didn't believe me when I said I fell off a ladder and landed on my ankle wrong as he quickly snapped my feet in the other direction causing me so much pain and then just sent me on my way with not even another word. No advice, no medication, nothing, just visit is done next patient please.

Dr Mini George is spectacular! She’s been my Dr for over a decade and has always been the most gentle, kind, and informed doctor. I feel so blessed to have Dr George helping me manage my complex healthcare. Regardless that I’m known on a first name basis by most of the staff, I’m never made to feel like I’m a bother. It’s very difficult when you have so many different modalities, it amazes me how much Dr. George remembers and is on top of each and every aspect my care. Thanks to all the fabulous staff both in front and in the back office, you have no idea how special you are! KJ️

If I can give negative stars, I would. First time visit to this clinic. Waited 1 hour. 30 mins for the doctor to show up and another 30 mins in a room after he had arrived. My request was a first trimester requisition and the doctor refused to provide one. His reason was because he doesn’t want the paper work to be sent to him. I thought doctors are suppose to be caring and help people. Clearly this doctor does not care for people. He only want to see patients that he can bill the Alberta health to get a pay cheque. My request was a piece of paper so I can get my pregnant ultrasound sound due to time sensitive. I don’t recommend going to this clinic. Even if your life is depend on it. They might let you suffer and not treat you. Because of to much paper work!

The doctor who was supposed to show up at 5: 30pm never came but they kept accepting patients until the had over 25 and didn't update anyone nor made an attempt to get another doctor.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Basically if you have symptoms of any kind they won't let you in to be diagnosed. Absolutely useless.

Would not let me see a doctor because I had a cough and this was against COVID protocol. Told me I would receive a phone consultation as a walk in patient. I told the receptionist I would like to see a doctor as I was in a lot of pain (unrelated to cough) and was told no. Did not receive phone call. Clearly phone consult patients are not prioritized or included in the queue of patients when walk in patients.

Staff obviously doesn’t triage issues by severity. I fought my way across the whole mall on crutches (which I’m not good at) due to a sudden foot issue. After watching me fight my way to the desk (beyond the nice inviting open sign), they didn’t even ask what my issue was and told me they can’t see me today.

Told wait would be 40 minutes as a "walk in " After 2 hours asked the receptionist how much longer. Informed that there were 6 appointments and 2 walk ins ahead of me. 40 minutes is the standard answer to waiting time, not the true timeThis is not a true "walk in center" because it accepts appointments. If you have hours to spare this is the place for you, if not go elsewhere. Of course the money keeps rolling in

Very bad. Not organized. Not recommended to go at all. Non responsible reception team at all. Taking appointment and still.need to wait for a an hour to get in.
People left without mask outside, sneezing and coughing, no action from reception team at all. Worst experience ever.
