Definitely recommend this place the service was amazing and I was able to get my appointment before the time I booked for because I was early which was great, staff did a fantastic job

I have prior experience to receiving botox at other clinics in Edmonton. I wanted to try this place out because it was closer to home. When I was getting my initial assessment done before receiving treatment, the assistant to the doctor let me know I would need 40 units of botox. I am 30 years old and take great care of my skin so I asked her why I would need so many units since I was only doing it for preventative aging in the future. That usually I get about 30-32 units at other places and have never been recommended that high. Their response was "because that is our minimum here we start all people at 40 units". I told her I didn't want 40 units and she's like ok let doctor Hans look at and she will tell you.

The Doctor comes in and doesn't even ask me to make any expressions for wrinkles and right away said "ok, we will be doing 40 units today". I told her I didn't really feel like I needed 40. She was like well thats what we start people out on and then next time when you see me you might just need less.

During the procedure she didn't mark my face or explain how many units were going in each area she just went for it and started stabbing my forehead. It was actually a really uncomfortable experience. At one point during the short procedure I asked her to stop because I felt so uncomfortable. She asked me if I was going to faint and I assured her I had no issue with needles but that she was going too hard into my face.

I walked away with some bruising that developed over the next 12-48 hours on my face.

I have never experienced a botox procedure like this anywhere else. Usually its quite painless and they explain the process to you. Listen to what your wants / needs are and make suggestions. They never force you to pay a certain amount of units "just because that's the minimum".

My botox in my face didn't settle well, there was some areas at the top of my forehead that were still wrinkling. I ended up going elsewhere to fix it and they confirmed 40 units is way too much for my face and that if there is 40 units used, that it shouldn't be pulling the way it was. I am convinced 40 units were not even used on my face. I am unsure though because my eyes were closed during the procedure because I was so uncomfortable during it. During the appointment the assistant mentioned to the doctor about a syringe not being used, and the doctor said, "no I used that one already". A bit of a strange comment to make. Made me feel like not all units were used.

If you are thinking of booking here because they offer 9$ per unit and are thinking you will save a bit of cash; don't do it, not worth it!

Friendly staff, Dr Hans is very knowledgeable. I got my Alumier peel done from Anju, she did amazing job, my skin has improved a lot. I definitely recommend this clinic.
