The food is amazing, definitely recommend anyone eats here the pound of brisket was amazing, can't wait to try the others on the menu the sauces they have at the tables go well with the meat can't go wrong here

Eat Meat! Have eaten here a few times over the years and most recently my wife and I drove all the way from BC to enjoy Meat! Well there were other reasons. But I was happy to share this wonderful place with her. The dishes are so yummy that I can't stop eating. Service is perfect and food is exceptional.

Mmmm, loved the pork belly and fried chicken. Fries were good but if I had to choose sides again I would get a full mac and cheese instead of half and skip the fries. The mac and cheese is so satisfying, worth getting for sure.

Two half size meats, a pair fried chicken thighs and two small side dishes were very filling for me and my friend. Beers were fresh and tasty, their banana cream desert was so delicious without being overly sweet.

Bathroom has an interesting foot door opener, you can use your foot to open door instead of touching handle.

Parking is paid but if you try street parking on 85th Ave near recycling depot it's free for certain amount of hours. Short walk over a train track and streets to get here.

Good at atmosphere, but the brisket had Zero fat on it.what’s the point in that? I did enjoy the selection of bbq sauce they have on the tables and the staff was nice.

Love the MEAT, a great selection of food. One thing I would recommend is more napkins from the start and a wet cloth to wipe all the deliciousness off my mouth, chin, cheeks, hands, etc. LOL
If I were to be critical on one thing, I would suggest the seating could be more comfortable for a more enjoyable experience, but honestly, it doesn't take away anything from the food and service. All of it was great for the amount of time we were there.

Bustling atmosphere - always a fun place to dine when in Edmonton. Absolutely love the jalapeño caesar salad w/chicken, it's a "must get" with your meal!

I am late sending this in but I was visiting Edmonton in July and was taken to this place. It was amazing and I made sure we went there again before heading home to Nova Scotia.
I will definitely visit again when I am out there.

Great place! Beautiful Atmosphere! On the plate we have Half size brisket & pork belly with cornbread & mac cheez. Solid food! Left with a full tummy

Went here for the first time a few days ago. Food was overall pretty good, the Mac n cheese wasn’t cheesy enough, it was still tasty!
Our one complaint would be that our server was very clearly high, she was very sweet but it was pretty unprofessional.

MEAT is always a treat, it’s not the cheapest, but it’s BBQ in Alberta so it’s to be expected. Is your getting the platter, make sure to get an extra sausage. If spice it your thing, the Nashville fried chicken is fantastic

I got the meat plater and garden salad to share with the hubby. We really enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly. The place was very busy and we still got the table we requested by walking in and we didn't have to wait very long to be seated. I'm happy with everything overall. Definitely coming back here.

This place was amazing. Obviously they have their smoked meats dialled in but their sides are also amazing. Sage sweet potato mash, coleslaw, and fries were all really tasty. Meals come served family style which is a nice change of pace.

A must stop when in Edmonton or if you're lucky enough to live there & able to eat this whenever you want. We're from out of town & stop in every time.
As expected - the Meat is unreal. Whether it's the burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, you name it - it's spectacular.
The sides are also really, really good. The mac & cheese & potato salad are both stellar & I am own who doesn't care for potato salad.
If you like slow cooked, BBQ style food - this is the place in Edmonton to go to!

Wait times are pretty excessive. Was quoted 30 minutes and waited for an hour. Food is really good but not worth that kind of wait.

Ribs was good. Did find it bit more dryer than expected. The pork burnt end was excellent and melts in your mouth when it was hot. As ít cooled down, i did find it it harder to chew. Over I enjoyed the meal. Excellent casual ambiance

My first time here - really mediocre? Had the brisket sandwich - it was "ok" - bun was dry and seemed a day old, brisket was dry but pickles were great. Not a great brisket sandwich, did not finish it. Son had the fried chicken done lousiana style - this was the real let down. The chicken was saturated in so much oil the skin that should be crispy was completely soft and soaked in oil. This was a terrible dish. Came with a side of garlic fries - fries were soaked in this garlic sauce, not appealing/appetizing. The waitress was super nice - she could tell my son was not eating the chicken, brought him out a half a smoked chicken - (removed cost of fried and added smoked). Really nice gesture, but sadly, it was terrible as well - meat was rubbery and had that undercooked texture even though you knew it wasn't. Anyways, it was just not good food - that simple. Shame, really wanted to like this place but just couldn't.

Absolutely delicious spot! This might be the best Texas BBQ I have ever had. In Canada at least. The recommendations were awesome and delicious and I highly recommend getting them! Beef brisket is obviously delicious here! But I highly recommend getting the Cherry Chili Ribs, these are so moist and delicious! The pork Belly burnt ends are also very tasty, who doesn't like a little bit of fat and meat? The pork cheeks I enjoyed, they are tender and succulent

I think that the Fried Chicken here might be a sleeper here. Normally you want to get brisket and ribs but the Fried Chicken and Nashville Hot Fried Chicken are fire, mad good and so moist! Def give these a try the hot is pretty spicy so just be careful with what you can tolerate

For sides we enjoyed the Mac and cheese, coleslaw, jalapeno caesar, cornbread and Chicken Dirty rice! All excellent depending on what you are looking for!

One other thing is if you are into bourbon this is one of the first places I've found Pappy Van Winkle on the shelf so you might as well give that a try!

Great BBQ spot for small or large groups. The food is always top notch and staff always awesome.

My wife love this place to much. By the way she is working here. Even if I worked here, nothing to change my self it’s amazing restaurant to you and for everyone. Delicious and look is well dish.
