Medicentres Belle Rive - Family Care Clinic

I had an excellent experience at Belle Rive Medicentre and so with my gynecologist Dr. Fawzia El-Fakharany.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and efficient, making me feel comfortable and at ease.
Doctor Fawzia listened to all of my concerns, uplifted me and was so kind in her words and was also super gentle while doing my pap test.

Highly recommend!

Have a number sign in system, but don’t use it. Ended up being faster to go to another one.

I had a great experience with this doctors office. The doctor was extremely patient and did a thorough assessment for my child. Didn’t brush off her symptoms and took the time to explain everything.

Absolute waste of my time. I have tried to see a doctor here everyday to get an antibiotic for pneumonia for the last 3 days. The first day they were closed when it said they were open online, yesterday they told me to come back this morning as they weren’t taking walkins. I come back this morning and they are still not taking walkins. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Arrived 20 mins early (before they opened) to stand in line because walk in wait times always take forever. I was the fourth in line but managed to be the 9th person checked in. When I asked why we even had to grab a number the female nurse just said “ oh the number probably weren’t called, sorry” like this isn’t a daily occurrence to grab a number and wait for your number to be called to check in. Also, Male nurse in the front told us to grab numbers which was pointless because anyone who lined up just got checked in. The same male nurse is rude, raised his voice at an elderly lady to go sit down after checking in, even though you can tell from her walker, her age and movements that she needs more time to get her stuff together in order to sit down. He also then proceeded to rudely raise his voice again to tell a lady with a baby to go sit down after she checked in. Don’t go into healthcare if you’re going to treat people like that. Also signs at the front should be updated prior to opening. People have walked out from a sign placed on may 12th saying “no walk ins”.
Dr. Mohammed is amazing - 5 star rating. Only reason I keep coming here

UPDATE AT 11: 25am
The lady with the child who was rudely spoken to was still waiting. My name was called before her even though she was checked in way ahead of me. I asked the male nurse for her to be seen before me because I just need a requisition for an X-ray and he said she wasn’t checked in. Is this a joke? ! I am also the last walk in being seen before they open up walk ins at 4: 30pm. So many expressed their concerns how this was not fair, and He just gets defensive because he was the one who messed up.another little girl has been in pain for hours. As great as I think the doctor is. Don’t waste your time. These new front desk nurses clearly need more training.

Love my family doctor, she's honestly the best doctor I've been too. But trying to book an appointment over the phone is nearly impossible. They never ever ever answer, or your either on hold til closing.

Front desk staff are helpful and respectful. Dr. Muhammed is great, he’s helped me a lot.
Overall service is a bit slow but this is a solid clinic. Would recommend.

I am not one to leave a bad review. How ever, I have tried to go to this facility multiple times and every time I get turned away. It is not like I’m coming at closing time, it was 12: 20 pm. The woman behind the desk couldn’t even look me in the eye to tell me. Just told me to go to castle downs and then got up and walk away. If I could I would remove the medical practice license from all together from every one that works there. I would give it a 0 star is possible.

Staff booking appointments do not clearly check files or request files from other centers and end up cancelling your request due to your doctor not having the file. Dr then claims they haven't seen you before when they've been your doctor for years due to not having your file. Seems like an efficient system built to waste people's time.

Dr Muhammad is the best but not sure what happened to this place used to come here all the time, now it’s impossible to see anyone any day. What other choice do people have every single clinic in the city does not see new patients.

It opens at 9am, but the doctor doesn’t start until after 10am and by noon they have so many patients they can’t accept anymore. Not worth the time, especially if you don’t drive.

I was hesitant to go here after seeing all the negative reviews, but with recently moving to the area, I decided to give them a shot. I booked online, arrived on time for my appointment, checked in with reception and was immediately taken in to see the Doctor. He was very personable and helpful. All in all, I give 5stars. Definitely recommend

Start off Dr. Mohammad and the Pharmacist were amazing very helpful.
The one star is for receptionist (Daniel) I understand your job is hard but the way you treat patience that come in because they’re in pain is completely unacceptable. I waited for over an hour and not only was she rude and extremely unprofessional to me but it seemed that way with everyone that walked in. Management needs to step in because for me I will not be returning because of the stress and anxiety that she caused me. I’m sure many other people will not be returning on a daily basis because of her attitude.

It has been downhill with this clinic, unfortunately. I have been going there since day 1 as it is close to my home. It has become a nightmare to see a doctor. You don't even know when they are taking walk in or appointment. When you walk in they say appointments only and when you ask for an appointment they just walk in. The doctors are rarely there, and the reception/admin are among the worst. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and then the excuse was she has problems with her computer! Something really needs to be done with the way this clinic is managed. It's a SHAME!

Actually the worst “walk in” clinic I've ever been to. The doctors barely work a full shift. The clinic is open until 4 but they sometimes are done seeing patients at around noon… then you try and make an appointment because thats what they ask every time you go in there and they say they aren't taking any new patients… like what are you even open until 4 for? Then they just try and send you to another clinic thats 20 mins away. Been going there forever and I'm considered a new patient? Its sad to see how down hill its gone if you don't enjoy what you're doing maybe find a new profession.

The doctors they set up appointments and they rescheduled all the time. Don't wasted your time.too bad can't get minus stars.

Dr M & receptionist are kind and helpful. However I would avoid Dr. Gary Fung at all costs. I have had chronic pain for years in my leg and back, was even previously diagnosed with scictica. When I visited him to explain this continous pain that is now effecting my student life in class he exclaimed because he has a son who complains about being a university student and that I must be also complaining to get a doctor's note for school which I DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR and that my pain was "all in my head". I only wanted testing and referrals done. Well thanks to a more diligent and kind doctor I found out I'm diagnosed with endometriosis which causes my pelvic pain. No thanks to Mr Fung.
