Boxing Day our baby hurt her arm just simply crawling around. Started screaming and wouldn’t move her arm. We went to hospital and 6 hour wait with packed waiting room with very sick people. I called the medicentre and they said they would get her in quick in case she needed x ray as they were closing in a few hours. The doctor (wish I knew who he was) older gentleman was clearly in middle of his lunch and told us to sit down and he grabbed her arm and maneuvered her arm and baby was screaming. Leaned back and said she should be fixed. He explained to us it was a partial dislocation of the elbow and she would be fine. We sat and talked with him and our girl started moving it and it was like it never even was injured by time we got home. What a great experience and thank you for taking the stress away from mom and dad.

No one is answering the phone and there is no booking link online besides virtual so why does it keep prompting that?

Went to clinic Wednesday morning and saw doctor soon. I had a Xray done after my visit. I was having a lot of pain. Results were available in later afternoon and had expected a call from Physician. Still in pain on Friday and seen a physiotherapist on my own. Phoned clinic and told I should have checked back with clinic. Clinics don’t operate by unnecessary calls from clients whose results don’t need any further follow up. I know my own physician or health clinic will call you back for further follow up. Now I have no options then to either see someone else on Sunday or see the doctor involved on Monday. Not a happy person who has a painful status.

Waited an hour only to see Dr Janse van Vuuren for a few minutes. He barely answered my questions. None of their staff, doctor included had a mask on during this flu season. This place provides a requisition printing service. It's a medical service vending machine. That's all.

Almost every appointment scheduled, they have cancelled. My most recent appointment was awful — not only did I have to reschedule because of issues on their end, was not taken seriously AT ALL. Instead they refused to listen to me at all or any of my concerns.

Staff was amazingly helpful and caring. Came on a Thursday afternoon around 5 and saw a doctor within 15min. Though I may have been lucky with my wait time I had a spectacular experience and would most definetly return!

Staff were very professional. They opened at 9, I called at 905, got an appointment for 1015 same day and I was seen by an attending at 11. Overall a good experience, given the state of health care in this province.

Friendly front end staff, Doctors are like family. Care for their patients is unlike any other medicenter! Over all great experience everytime I need medical attention.

Dr.s appointment 1: 15 pm is now 1: 58pm.
Very slow getting to booked appointments.be prepared to wait 2 hours.reception is rude non caring.

Friendly Customer Service and wonderful medical staff. They went above and beyond to have me seen by a doctor right away and were even able to book me a same day ultrasound appointment. I would highly recommend this clinic.

When I sprained my ankle, Dr. Daniels told me I could just walk to the Synergy Wellness to get my X-rays done. He said it’s not far… it is far when you’re injured!

Ignorant and unfriendly staff, tried to get me to sign a waiver giving up my rights while pretending it was "just a questionnaire"

The office secretary was rude and unhelpful, told me to take it or leave it they don't care.

If you go here you will not be cared for in any capacity. If they'll make time for you in the first place.

There are several other clinics in sherwood park and I would personally wait to attend one other than this.

Friendly front desk staff, came in because I had severe pain in my ear and swelling. The doctor that saw me barely looked at me then told me I “probably” had allergies despite not having a single allergy symptom. Thankfully I was able to get into another clinic which properly diagnosed it as an ear infection. Will not be returning

I made an appointment on the phone for a commercial drivers medical. Got appointment same day, arrived 45 minutes early left 5 minutes after my appointment time very pleasant staff from lady on phone to and encluding the doctor

NOT a walk in clinic, despite what the description says. Walked in, in visible pain (what I assume was multiple torn muscles) only to be greeted by "do you have an appointment? " When I replied "no" she promptly and rudely said "we haven't done walk ins in 2 years", and went back to answering calls.
Walked around the pain management aisle in tears whilst she decided to shop around the store for snacks and laugh with the cashier. Incredibly disappointing, will not return.

I had an adult concern and have a young family. I needed advice from a professional in the field. I received service second to none, an efficient scan set up shortly after in another location inside Edmonton, excellent follow up appointment. Both front end team and doctor were very professional.

My sons 7 years old had sings of pink eye, we live 2 hours from Edmonton, we happened to be in Sherwood Park and thought to see a walk in doctor at a walk in clinic to get a cream for my son.when we called to see if they were opened the staff asked me if i was fully vaccinated, i stated: what that had to do with my son,? I mean i said why does that matter? She said the doctor on call will not be in the same place or room with someone who is not fully vaccinated or at least first jab. I cant believe this is happening in CANADA! SCARY.

Very mean receptionist here. She advised over the phone to visit as doctor is still able to take walk ins but once I reach there on time, she said they are done for the day now! Working with holding a clock in hand or what!?

My husband had cut his finger open and was actively bleeding. We decided to come here instead of clogging up the ER. We've been here before but when he had arrived he was told they are no longer a walk in clinic. When he explained he cut his finger they said they would squeeze him in. They had asked if he was vaccinated and he had not been fully vaccinated yet. The Doctor, Dr. K, refused to see him because of his vaccine status. The nurse then took a picture of the cut, went and showed the doctor to see if he indeed needed stitches. The nurse came back into the room and said the doctor will not be seeing him but she will do the stitches. The stitches are not approximated very well, and being a nurse myself I know that suturing is not in our scope of practice, unless she is a nurse practitioner or has advanced training, which she wouldn't tell us. This is beyond unprofessional on both the Doctor and Nurses part.

I bring my kids here all the time. Love the passion and care given by all the staff. All the doctors are amazing at this location. Me and my family don't have a family doctor and are surprised how they accommodate us every single time. Especially Ronda (clinic manager) is an amazing person.

I come here based on how i am treated by charity at the front end as well as dr.daniels.i always have a great experience despite my visits being whenever im not feeling good. Thank you for your care and i love seeing the front end staff who all care for the elderly and young that frequent this clinic. They know their patients by name and care that they are HAPPY and healthy.
You can call for wait times and appointments as well they have one treatment room so it is always a good idea to call on their daily status if you need more than the usual doctors note or prescription for antibiotics.
There is also a starbucks across the street so if the wait times are long you can take a break and grab a hot tea.
When entering you just take your number at the front desk and they call you up to register your information (Alberta Health Card and Drivers License) and can tell you how many people are before you.

Showed up today at 0945 on September 22nd for my son with potential croup. Registration went off without a hitch and told it would be an hour wait. Still here at 1152 and not seen. It's based on triage, I get it. But when I went up at 1130 to inquire where we were on the list, we were told there was one person ahead of us. Now 4 people have been taken in front of us even though none of those people had arrived after I checked so I know they weren't triaged ahead of us

In and out in 20 minutes- Not bad this time! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Yeah, it depends on when you arrive, you have to consider that aspect of clinic usage. But today it was great!

What a disappointing experience at this Medicentre today. I registered at 15: 30 and made it very clear that I was there to get my ears flushed as they were plugged. No problem, I was told. And it is one of the items available for Fast Track so it is a routine procedure. Since there was an hour wait time it was suggested to leave and come back. So I did that and upon returning, checked in and was told to have a seat.

After getting my name called I glanced at the clock: 17: 30. Oh well, at least I will be able to hear in a few minutes, I thought. After the doctor looked in my ears he asked one of his staff to book me in for the next day to have the procedure done. Why? Because he did not have a nurse at that time. What? You could have told me that two hours ago when I registered! And since when can a doctor not do this simple procedure?

Everyone was nice, and apologetic, but did nothing to help me. So now I have to wait at another place tomorrow and see if they can help. I will not go back to this centre. Every place has a bad day now and then but where is the service? And to top it off this visit was billable to AB Health. Thanks for nothing. And wasting two+ hours of my Sunday.

This would be 0 but I can't. Went in to see a doctor. Had a blood req done. They put the wrong last name and wrong date of birth. Called i they said they could fax it in. I had to call back after waiting at the dyna life for 10 minutes just to be told it wasnt allowed to be faxed. Had to drive back, when she was fixing it we found out the doctors name wasnt even on the req. Tried to keep telling me that their system was down when we had gone in so somehow my new address updated but not my last name.bs. Wont be back.

I should start taking these reviews more seriously. I'll echo some of the other comments; the waiting time here is incredibly long. There doesn't seem to be much urgency or respect for peoples time.

I saw 2 of the three doctors there and was misdiagnosed. I was told I had gout in my foot and to go back to work and prescribed some anti inflammatorys. (very physical job)

3 weeks after taking the pills and working my foot hurt more and more. I ended up seeing another doctor somewhere else, turned out my foot was fractured the whole time. I was in a cast 4 extra weeks because of how much worse it got due to the misdiagnosis.

Very very poor doctors at this clinic. They tell you one thing and aren’t willing to hear what you have to say. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I went in here on Dec. 19 and stood at the desk waiting to be acknowledged as three staff instead decided it was more important to loudly talk about their personal life, and saying (or not saying) goodbye to a fellow co-worker etc. They laughed and gossiped as I stood there. They all clearly could see me as all three glanced at me and went back to talking. Once their conversation came to an end, I was then acknowledged and she replied "Hey. " like she was annoyed she had to do some work. This is not the first time this has happened at this clinic. These ladies love to chat loudly behind the desk assuming everyone wants to hear their stories and about their lives. Very unprofessional.

Why bother having an online wait time notification if it is absolutely inaccurate? The online notice said 30 minutes so I raced over there from work. After checking in, the receptionist confirmed it was now a 45 minute wait - ok, I can live with that. After 1.5 hours waiting, I ask again, being told there are 4 more people ahead of me and it "shouldn't be long". At 2 hours, I ask again and am then told (by a 3rd receptionist) it will be another 2 hours and I may as well go back to work and come back later. What a joke! Are the people at the front trained to feed patients a load of bull?

I have just had the most unprofessional, offensive appointment with Dr Jansen Van Vuuen. I asked for a refill of my birth control, and was promptly asked how many children I have (I’m 30). He then proceeded to lecture me with incorrect facts about female fertility, ending with the false statement that within 2 years I’ll be too old to have children. A) he’s absolutely incorrect with his statistics and B) it is 100% not his place to lecture me, unbidden, on an incredibly personal choice. I am quite honestly furious.
