The receptionists at this clinic have to be on meds. I had an appointment booked, showed up and there was no records of an appointment made for that day during working hours.

I got in quickly with no appointment. EVERYONE WAS PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH AND THE DR. WAS thorough and got me moving in the direction of better health. (-:

The staff here is amazing! Leah always goes out of her way to help, and has a lovely demeaner. Dr. Campbell is a fantastic doctor. Thank you for providing a great experience. Sarah

Relatively easy to get an appointment in a day or so. Courteous staff. Dr Campbell is friendly and attentive.

At least the doctor listens too what you said compared to the downtown medical center that it's like your taking to a wall and have to explain stuff 3-5 times!

The clinic has always been very attentive to my needs. I have several comorbid conditions and Dr. Wingnean has helped me with each. I usually do Saturday mornings when they just are about to open and he says good morning with my name each time. He always asks how I am doing with my mental health conditions even if I am there for something totally separate. I have been going to this clinic for about 20 years now. Thank-you downtown Medicentre!

Dr. Campbell has been my doctor for years and I think he’s absolutely wonderful. He’s a very caring doctor that takes the time to listen. I’m so thankful to have him as my doctor. Catherine is lovely, she is always so friendly and willing to help.

I came walk in because was called about blood results, and was refused to stay in the office. I was told to come when doctor that wrote requisition for blood work is accepting. I don't understand why any other doctor cannot print results for me.

Like anywhere, wait times can be long. But having a clinic close, within walking distance, is very important to me. One of the GPs at the Downtown (Jasper Ave.) location has been my family doctor for some time. Very thankful for his support.

I've always found the staff efficient and professional.
Found the best doctor in the city. Dr. W is all business and that's what you want in a healthcare provider.

This place is a real piece of garbage and should be shut down. I've been on hold for 45 minutes and nobody even asked the nature of the call. I only go here when everything else is closed because this place is pure trash and the staff are slow and entitled. Like spoiled brats that just do not care. Be warned you will leave upset and wanting to complain to someone. But nobody cares and nothing gets done. Why is there no guidelines to wait times and appointment times? Canadian health care is on a downhill slope. Why can I not give this minus five stars

They are very accommodating and the doctor was very resourceful. Definitely worth the wait to get seen.

I had an eye infection and came in around 12: 30 as a walk-in. I was told that there was one patient ahead of me and that it would be no more than 30 mins to 1 hour and that I had to leave and could not wait. I left and came back after an hour to where I saw patients were seated and was told to have a seat. I waited another hour then was moved into a room waited 30 mins and then moved to another room. I know their are patients that have appointments that are to be prioritized but I think staff should have been honest so that I could have went elsewhere. So unprofessional.

I waited a total of 3 hours and 15
minutes to which point I just left. Absolutely ridiculous.

Im pretty sure they let other people ahead of me that were also walk in because waiting room changed several times as I left to check.

I cherish the medical care I receive from Dr. Khurram but am appalled by the clinic's day-to-day operation. Dr. Khurram always acts like she's glad to see me. She remembers my medical issues from one visit to the next. Among other things, she identified a lump that turned out to be cancerous, and she probably saved my life. On the other hand, I dread having to phone or visit the clinic. This morning I've been trying for half an hour to phone to book an appointment, and cannot even get through to speak to anyone; it just rings' busy. Whenever I finally DO book an appointment, I take along a book because I've had to wait as long as 90 minutes past my appointment time to actually see the physician. Lousy administration, ZERO respect for patients' time. The medical care is superb but the corporation is too cheap to have adequate phone and reception services. I don't like feeling like an unimportant blip in the corporation's revenue stream, rather than an actual human being with a life outside of the clinic's inadequate administration.

Phoned receptionist to ask if an appointment was available today for my daughter's ear ache. She proceeded to lecture me about making appointments two days in advance.

I had the good fortune to meet
Dr. Wingnean at this location a couple years ago. He is currently my family Doctor and has been outstanding professional and has really made a difference in my life.
The office staff is always courteous and efficient, going the extra mile for patients repeatedly.

Good luck getting thru if you try calling. Been trying for days to get thru but the staff must be too lazy to answer the phone. I've heard lots of ppl have been there, heard the phone ring but they never pick up.

Why is there always no answer at this clinic? Sometimes it takes multiple days of phoning to get someone to answer the phone?

Had a relative go there and has had a similar experience. I went to this walk in clinic a few weeks ago to get my foot examined and the older Dr barely examined my foot & offered a x ray with little doubt that I wouldn't need one. I am still having problems with my foot but because I'm aboriginal me and my relative got pressured to leave under "professional guidance" that nothing is wrong.

Saturday hours posted as open till 2. I arrived at 1: 18. CLOSED! The doctors are great though, if you can catch them.

To be fair, I am happy to say that from behind the closed gate, the receptionist flagged down an assistant. Sayed phoned and found another clinic elsewhere that is open.

I had great service. Friendly staff and short wait time. Dr. Zhang was lovely, treated me with respect and helped me with my problem.

I live downtown and this is my go to walk in clinic. I haven’t had a family doctor in almost 15 years and since moving to Alberta from Ontario over 6 years ago. (I know I should really get one already)
I’ve seen a couple of different doctors at this clinic and I’ve never had an issue. Front desk staff have always been polite and helpful, sadly I can’t say that about other walk in clinics I’ve been to in the city.
They’re usually pretty upfront and accurate about their wait times here and pretty quick. I had seen Dr Hassan today and I’ve seen her there a few other time’s I’ve gone for a walk in. She is a gem, always very nice, helpful and actually listens to you. I’ve also seen another doctor that I really liked there too, sadly I can’t remember his name (smaller Asian man) he’s great too!

Went in for an STI test and when i went back for the news the doctor was very nice and didnt make me feel like i'm as dirty as I have been lately and previously. Gave me lots of rubbers for free as im sure he knows i dont buy them enough/ever. I used to say they were just for sailors but the good doctor has convinced me otherwise. I wish it didnt take a positive result to learn me my lesson but it is what it is. Thank you to the doctors and staff except the lady that kept staring at me like she knew my results. That was the only uncomfortable part besides the reason i was there

I appreciate the precaution this clinic is taking during COVID. My only complaint would be Dr Campbell and his wait times, the staff is great.

My boyfriend and I were here to take medical exam for immigration. They were really nice and effective.

DO NOT GO HERE. I booked appointments twice and both times when I went there I waited for more than 30 mins, the front desk says I need to understand in a very condescending tone.
They don’t seem to understand that people who fortunately still have jobs in this COVID-19 pandemic, take time off their jobs to go there.

It seems that their rationale is - we will book the appointment for you but we still do not guarantee the doctor being there on time or even just the doctor being there at all. Very unprofessional, rude.professionalism, commitment are not their forte.

David Wingnean misdiagnosed me terribly in 2017. He also caused my healthcare records to be compromised. I am reporting him to the CPSA this week, and I am talking to a medical malpractice attorney, as well. Need I say more? Stay away from this clinic!

Regardless of the wait time to see Dr. C, the staff has always been above and beyond kind. (I mean, come on people, it’s a fricken global pandemic, have some patience. The world does not revolve around you)
During the pandemic, I can’t imagine how stressful it must be to be a front line worker.

Katherine (I hope that’s how it’s spelled) is just an amazing addition to the staff. She does her absolute best to try to accommodate the patients, even when they’re losing their patience. So, kudos to you, Katherine. Keep up the great work, and remember to take care of you, as well.

They never receive call. They do not call back. Every time reason is High volume of calls. Every time I ask for appointment for family doctor, they are fully booked. Every time minimum 2 hours of waiting time. Every time they have same reasons.
After calling 3 times to clinic, (call not answered) I reached clinic at 4.15 pm. Closing time was 5 pm. Only one patient was there. And they said we are not taking any more walk ins. Being a full time student I get free only after 4 pm.
I explained my problem to receptionist, I was having ear pain from 2 days, and what I realized is they don't care about patient's problem and they were just thinking of their timing.
Finally I went to other clinic and they took me in though they also closed walk ins. They understood my problem.

Dr Campbell is amazing, but very sad to say. The manager Diana Verge is a racist. Me and a few other patients in the waiting room witnessed her telling her colleague that the patient should go back to China instead of coming to the clinic sick. She was scared to get her son at home sick. It was very disgusting behaviour and I will not be coming back to this clinic again.

Fast efficient service to clean ear wax in 10 minutes after spending 2 hours trying to find a clinic with tips, a doctor, and policy that allows immediate treatment.

Went to this medicentre location after visiting two other locations because the wait times were to long. The darker gentleman at the front desk told me the wait time would be approximately 1 1/2hours, after an 1 hour waiting I went back to the desk verify the wait time and now he told me another 2 1/2 hours! I asked why would you tell me 1 1/2 if it was going to be closer to 4 hours he said in a smug look that it was just an approximation. I Never did get a chance to rate the doctor, I’m sure he is fine but the reception at that location are horrific. Let’s remember guys that is still a business and customer service goes a long way.

Dr. Hassan and the ladies who work the front desk are amazing. I always get a timely appointment and never have to wait long to see the doctor. Dr. Hassan takes adequate amount of time for the appointment and the staff are all very friendly. I have worked for over 20 Doctors in my career and can say Dr. Hassan has a great bed side manner and seems to be a very capable doctor. The only thing I would change is sometimes have to wait on hold when calling in (but this seems to have improved since the clinic first opened). There is one lady who is always extra amazing and always makes you feel better and you do not even notice your at the doctor (sorry forgot her name). Great Job! - Cassie

Dr wingnean its a very nice and patient he had been my doctor since i was 15 now i am 26 and I still go to this Medicentre because of him

They always ignore me first when I when I'm the first one to walk in and wait patiently and dr.wing on and the other doctor I forgot his name but there ignorant and they only help these refugees first that come in. I will be taking them to court and reporting them for discrimination and really ignorant additude.there should be no excuse of any sort of this happing to me. I diden't even wanted it to give it one star

Absolutely the epitome of terrible service! I can't even count on 2 hands the amount of times the front end staff were rude, gave misinformed info, and just generally should not be involved with customer service! Also the hours posted mean nothing, multiple times they have just closed at random times, i have phoned and made appointments just to wait hours to get seen, i have paid for cabs to get there just to be told to wait hours or to leave and come back, dr's are always rushed and don't seem to really care about the patient, just prescribe a pill and onto the next person.yet i walk a block down the street to Jasper Medical and get brought in within 45 minutes every single time, and have doctors that actually seem to genuinely care about their patients! I have sat in the waiting area and listened to non stop complaints from other patrons etc. Extremely disappointing, i will be changing my family doctor and changing to a different clinic, but i imagine in order to do that i will have to wait in line for an hour and deal with rude people!

Their reception staff are mostly unprofessional and can not handle clients. The Dr is simply in a rush. I have been to this clinic 5 times in the last year and the longest time that the Doc spend with me was 6 mins. Very disappointing.

I’ve been going to this clinic for years and Dr. Hassan is my favourite human. The staff have always treated me respect and compassion, and I don’t understand why everyone gets upset about the appointments. Sometimes the doctors are booked for a week or more, so if I can’t book an appointment I just come as a walk in. I wish I could give them more stars, everybody is so great.

Dr Hassan is very good, but the front desk staff is terrible. They have given my confidential information to wrong benefits companies. Also it is very hard to get an appointment with them. Unfortunately I will have to look for a new family doctor.

I called earlier of the day, and I booked appointment at 1pm, when I met the doctor, it's already 90 minutes later! There were 7 or 8 people came after me got a chance to see doctor before me! The receptionist said they didn't have my health card info in the system. I clearly provided my personal info to Jenny who picked my call! What a time waste! Do not recommend this place at all.

Only reason I keep driving to this clinic is for my Dr. Dr. Campbell has been my doctor for 25 years now. He has looked into things where others didn't bother, and has caught early diagnoses by doing this. I will however say the receptionists are never great. Like.never.they however have hired two male receptionists lately who are absolutely fantastic. Always polite and easy to talk to. The women however are always rude and condescending.
