Receptionist, the old lady, is very rude. She looks at the person who arrives and I guess decides if she will be nice to you or not. We were the unlucky ones who were treated with a super loud voice and was plain rude. I seen her refer to a patient "k, let's go, " referring to an elderly male patient and knocked her knuckles hard on the receptionist table for his attention. Poor service from the front, the 1st people you see who greet you: (
Reception isn’t was great very rude to me and a lot of other patients unbelievable attitude and just very short with everybody usually the staff is so nice here but this was definitely disappointing we waited for hours and were never seen, used to love this place but it’s really gone down the drain
The Dr I see at this Medicentre is excellent. That being said I booked an appointment for 4: 00 pm and arrived 20 minutes early only to see the door locked and medicentre closed.
Friend went in as a walk-in before 10AM. The estimated wait time was 1.5 hours on the website approximately an hour after they got into the office. At 1: 30, the estimated wait was up to 3.5 hours. It's now almost 2PM, they still haven't been seen, and they were informed that the doctor is now on a lunch break. Unacceptable! Since when do people have to wait 5+ hours to see a doctor?
Great experience. 0 minute wait time as advertised on the Medicentres website. The nurse at the front desk was amazing: entered my info, pulled my staples/stitches and held an interesting conversation about healthcare in Ontario vs. Alberta, all in a very short timeframe. Thank you!
I was a walk in so I was expecting a hour wait time, which I was fine with. I got to see Dr. Gritter and he was great. Took the time to listen to me, show me how to ease my arm pain, and showed me the muscles evolved too. A great experience.
Receptionists and nurses are nice but they need to fix their order of priority.people coming in for walk in checkups were getting in before folks who were clearly in pain and needed help.wait times are discgraceful
Lazy doctors, rude receptionist! I waited 2 hours & 41 minutes, though I had an appointment! In the room, I had to wait another 39 minutes. I walked out & vowed never to return. I totally agree that service here is absolutely zero!
The staff and the doctors are amazing. I've been here about a dozen times and there's a reason they are always busy. This is honestly the best experience I've had at a clinic, and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Don't try to call to book an appointment, you will listen to the machine with no options for patients, then they will pick up after 10 min to tell you wait a sec, I have to hang up after 15 min.what a joke!
I have been a patient here for the past 7 months, the staff are professional & understanding. Dr. Kumpula has great bedside manner, is kind & incredibly professional
Staff always goes over and beyond when Im there. Hard working from top to bottom and they try their utmost best to accommodate whatever I might need at my visit.
I came here for my treatment today and the service was on time, fast and efficient. Mohamed and Dr. Kumpoola saw me for my treatment. They were professional, helpful, and have a kind demeanor. I've been coming here for my treatments and prescriptions but my previous experiences weren't that great. I usually wait for a couple of hours even if I have an appointment. Today was different and I hope it continues to be exceptional.:)
Rude and unprofessional receptionist. They booked me in for 11: 30am and by 12pm I'm still in the waiting room. What is the point of an appointment if you don't honor it? Waste of everyone's time. These receptionists need to be retrained on how to properly schedule and give an appropriate amount of time to each patient.
Booked an appointment for 1230, arrived at 1225 and checked in with receptionist, there were 2 people there when I arrived in waiting room, 1 individual was waiting on someone already in with Dr, so when he left it was myself and a lady, fast forward it's 2: 15 and I'm still waiting in waiting room the lady has gone in people have came and went in, and I'm still waiting and not once did anyone of the 3 receptionist even looked up and ask me anything, finally 2 hrs later I walked up to the receptionist who checked me in and she asked my name and then proceeded to say my name wasn't there, I said but are the one who checked me in, then she said yes she did but for some reason my name was deleted, so if I didn't ask after 2 hours waiting I guess I would of been waiting till closing time before they would of said anything, how does this happen, they are more busy talking amongst each other to even notice a patient waiting for 2 hours in an empty waiting room, will be finding a new doctor, not the first time I've had such an experience with this place, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me! Traveled the world one of the worst experience and service I've ever had to deal with.
I went to see Dr. Gritter with stomach pain and he prescribed ulcers and medicine, saying it would feel better in 72 hours. He also ordered an ultrasound. I was told that if I didn’t hear back following the ultrasound that all was fine.
This was a complete misdiagnosis. Within 24 hours I was in hospital having an emergency appendectomy and it was so bad the infection spread to my intestine as well, extending my stay in hospital by an additional two days.
I still have not heard back from Dr. Gritter so apparently I am fine.
If I had not gotten second opinion from another doctor, it could have been serious if not fatal. He is a nice person but this was a terrible mistake.
Attentive and specific about the concerns brought up.
Edit: follow up check up, they set an appointment for 2: 30pm and guess what i’m waiting for an hour already and my doctor is not yet here to address my concerns. They say they only have 1 doctor today, i mean why set me up with that given time if you can’t make it? What’s the purpose Of an appointment if I can’t be helped by that time? I have other things to do and i also have my job to do.
Horrible experience. Old lady with short hair at front desk refused to let me see a doctor after I told her I was worried about my finger getting infected. She told me thats not how this works and told me to leave and go see my doctor after i told her I can't she Refused medical treatment. Should fire her. Notice how all the responses are the same. Because they don't care. You have my number. If you really cared you would call me. Can only imagine that woman who was asked to take off her shirt by that male doctor. Shady place
Everything says their open till 10 went in there and theres no doctors there at all and they tell you you have to do a "seeing " with the doctor via phone if you cant see patients why be open?
Get told that the wait time is an hour due to 1 dr which was fine except my first time asking what time I'd be seen was moved to 2 hours ontop of the 1 been nothing but people walking and being seen before me and then I'm told i need to calm down.didn't even have enough decency to mention perhaps a different location would be best.is say more but I dont expect anyone to care that it took several hours to be seen.if you got the choice goto the hospital
Cannot say enough - Great Doctors and great Nurses and Admin. Staff. My Doctor is Dr. Gritter - He has helped my family through some tough medical situations, we would be lost without him.
Was rudely told to go see the ER.even though he could have easily given me an xray referral. Waste of time, do not go here. Money hungry doctor who doesnt care about his patients.
Went there on dec. 30 today. I dont visit doctor for a cold but this time I felt really ill and my eyes start to get painful and swelling. I heard the clinic's automated voice recording saying they opened today Dec. 23 or 30.not sure. So I just went there, they say they are closed. A young asian nurse saw I look very ill so she talked to Dr. Naidoo still in office at the time. Dr. Naidoo took me in and prescribed me antibiotic for my eyes and throat and saying I'm the most ill patient ever seen today.
Thank you Dr. Naidoo and the young asian nurse (not sure what's her name).
Dr. Kumpula is also a caring doctor. I really appreciate him for being a doctor there.
Dr. Kumpula was very helpful in explaining my son’s condition. He also made sure that my son’s referral to a specialist was done in a timely manner. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.
Waste of time. Unprofessional front line staff. Unknowledgeable - lazy - unskilled crew of Dr. @ this one. Absolute joke of a facility. Zero concern for patient.
A great doctor here who made sure I got the referral I needed after she could clearly see it was a serious issue. I will update this review with her name when I visit next. Thank you for stepping up and getting me to a specialist as fast as you did.
Completely amazing staff works here from the front desk ladies to the nurses they are always polite and treat you with respect. Why a 1 star you ask? The doctors, this place doesn't have a single doctor with an ounce of knowledge or compassion in them. It's kinda sad
I was Injured at work and needed stitches they did not waste any of my time, was quick and effective got attended right away thanks to OIS program and Thank you Westgrove Medicentre!
The doctor I saw was not helpful at all. They never called me back with my test results after over a week when they said I would get a call in 2-3 days.
