Booked a fast track appointment and was in and out in 20 minutes. Dr. Brow and the nurse were both very friendly and helpful.

Dr. S. Kobler is the most dismissive practitioner I've ever met. After being diagnosed and put on medication, I've needed to go to walk in clinics to have my prescription refilled until I can get into our over booked family care doctors. Dr. Kobler is the first Doctor that has decoded to refuse the refill stating he doesn't believe in the drug. Well that drug has been treating my problem Sir, wether you belive in it or not.
After explaining my situation and that I was 3 weeks away from being able to see the family doctor, I was sent out of the office after 1 minute with this doctor's; who's demeanor, quite frankly was off putting at best.

Doctor didn’t do anything.told all the symptoms and said “ahh take Advil” basically didn’t believe what we were telling him. Waste of time. If you’re going to be a doctor atleast act like you care. Old crotchety bag.

Dehumanizing treatment by front end staff, given blatantly false information about Alberta Health Services policies, and was denied care.

I was here tonight and I was pretty disappointed… the receptionist was really nice and listened to all of symptoms and concerns. When seeing the doctor however, I told him my symptoms and how sick I was, I even began to cry. He told me my chest was clear and that I’ll be okay by Monday. He told me to take Advil and I began to cry as I felt unheard. My chest has been so full of phlegm to the point where I am choking on it during class. He didn’t comfort me or reassure me at all when he saw me upset, instead he left.

What is the point of making an appointment if they still expect you to have a 30 minute plus wait
25 October 2021 14:28
Doctors make you wait an hour over your appointment time and don't apologize for it. The staff don't wear their masks over their faces but expect visitors too. Badly run practice, avoid, avoid, avoid!

I came in to discuss symptoms I’ve had intermittently for years which point to IBS, but at the mere mention of the word “nausea” and the phrase “loose stool” which were all but pried our of me (and which effect me only intermittently in the event of certain stress or dietary episodes), I was all but denied help and told only to go get tested for Covid-19. To add insult to injury, I was told to try some peptol bismol. Like, “oh. You’ve had migraines for years? Here, try some Advil. ” Perhaps it was my mistake in coming later in the day, but I can’t help but feel the general and remote connection between one of my symptoms (despite my complete lack of exposure, working from home and generally being a shut in) and that of the absurdly long list of possible “symptoms” of the very real pandemic presented my doctor a convenient excuse to brush me aside just to save him the time of a real diagnostic meeting. Pretty f**king unimpressed.

The staff at the clinic were very friendly and helpful especially for having to work on a long weekend. This is always my first choice when I need a doctor

Yesterday my husband went there for an injured foot. He was stressed out and accidentally left his wallet on the receptionists desk while filling out the information. The woman behind the desk then stole all his money. Roughly 200 in cash before returning his wallet. Absolutely thieves is what they are. I hope management reads this and realizes what untrustworthy staff members work at their establishment. They stole money from a new dad with a newborn baby at home. Time of day was 330pm. On Tuesday June 26th.

Went in to see a doctor about an eye thing I developed and Dr. Chang only gave me medicated eye drops which I thought was odd considering how bad my condition was when I went in I thought I'd be prescribed something oral. 2 days later with zero improvement I went to someone else and the other doctor I saw seemed shocked that I wasn't prescribed pills and ointment. Had I actually listened to Dr. Chang's advice of "use this eye drop 4 times a day for a week, come see me if it doesn't get better" the 2nd doctor I saw told me if it got any worse that I would have to go to a hospital for an IV.

This is the SECOND time Dr. Chang has given me bad medical advice. Last time was in the winter when he told me "with absolute certainty" that my Bell's Palsy wouldn't come back and it DID.

Used to like coming to this medicentre for the short wait times and great nursing staff but now I will avoid this place from now on.

I went to the Capilano Medicentre 3 times in January and February, believing that I had an ear infection. I barely had to wait before being seen by Dr. Chang each time, and it was convenient to check wait times online.

Each visit, Dr. Chang examined my ear, and telling me that he had a hard time seeing my eardrum the first visit, speculated that it may be ruptured. He told me not to get it wet and recommended coming back in two weeks. He provided no advice on how to do so and I had trouble
keeping the car canal dry while washing my hair. He also seemed dismissive of my background (actually cutting me off) and future concerns.

I went to my GP in late February - which I should have done in the first place - and she diagnosed a fungal ear infection which is now under treatment. I did not have a ruptured eardrum, and said infection could lead to permanent hearing damage or spread to my brain, which was left untreated for several weeks. Hippocrates would be spinning in his grave!
