Always takes forever (2+hrs minimum). Only 1 doctor usually in.take the extra time and go elsewhere.it will be worth it.

I have dropped a form for my doctor to fill up. He told us to give him a week or two. I never received call so I tried to call them few times but it will hold and then hang up. I didn’t really want to come to clinic without information because I know the waiting time, I just want to know if it is ready or not. I didn’t get a call and nobody is attending my call, I have no choice but to come to clinic. MOA took all my information and asked me to wait. Waited about half an hour, worried my baby is crying in the car. I asked another MOA and she said if I talked to her colleague already then I have to wait, she will give me information. Then she comes, and she saying “can I get your information again” It means she made an error registering my information. I was shocked and frustrated but never hear an apology but she keeps saying “doctor will take time, ”. I just say “I don’t need to see doctor, it is just a matter of Yes or No. This kind of service is bottleneck. I understand the constraint (staff shortage) but making your patient feel that they are look after (empathy) is very important. I have experienced long waiting hours in this clinic and it is understandable because every patient has different circumstances. What frustrated me is being ignored and no apology. Unfortunately, I still have to visit this clinic again because our family doctor moved here. We travelled 40 minutes to reach clinic for nothing.

Please be careful of this location, they're very poor on keeping their appointment times and the staff could be more polite then they are. The drs are alright but their staff could use improvement

Had a great experience here. The front desk staff, nurse, and doctor were all so kind and amazing. I am really grateful for their help.

Told me wait was one hour. Sat there for over 2 hours. Told I was next in line. Then more people kept going ahead of me so I left.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating, I would. Dr. Sufrani was supposed to start at 9AM and I had an appointment for 1030AM and have been waiting for OVER 1 HOUR… Not to mention, the Dr hasn’t even arrived yet! What kind of place is this? DO NOT RECOMMEND. What an absolute joke of a place and doctor. Very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time.

Don’t go here waste of time. If you book the appointment early but you have to wait hours to see the doctor.

What a complete waste of time! Extremely disappointed with this clinic. If you don't want parking tickets don't go here. I waited 2 hours and 45 min to see a doctor. I booked an appointment and still had to wait this long. The lobby wasn't even that full to begin with so I don't understand why it was that slow. They finally sat me in the little room and I waited 45 mins in there just to hear them calling my name in the lobby. It's like they forgot that they already put me in the room. DON'T GO HERE unless you want to wait all day. Complete Joke!

Where to start? Never answers phone, not today for sure. 7 calls, 27 mins of wait time. No answer. 2 calls made at 2 different times while in waiting room. The doctor I'm seeing had 0 compassion. ALWAYS having to see doctor to fill prescription

Called to book an appointment got in that day and very fast as soon as I walked threw the door she said hello told her I had an appointment at 2 and she got me right in a room and the doctor was fast loved the service! Thank you all

Horrible service! I called 7 times to speak to someone and no one answered so I just went in as my kids are sick and was told it’s appointment only…… Looked on their site it said NOTHING about appointment only.
Called to get the supervisor # to complain and yet again no one has answered… this place has gone to hell.

I have only been here a couple times as walk in. Have appointment next week will see if I have to wait. Last doctor (different office) was always at least 30 mins late

Ridiculous on hold over an hour no one answers the phone go I person there 2 ppl at the front desk unexceptable how are you suppose to book an appointment? Trash! Take your field of work serioisly

Filippino girl on the front desk is very unprofessional and a liar. I have been coming here for many years and stood in line for an hour to be first and the front desk attendant told me I have to book an appointment and told me it’s not a walk in clinic. I called her out on her lie and said I have been coming here for years as a walk in. She said you have to book it and it’s been like this since 2019. (That’s a lie)

Highly recommend looking for another clinic as this one is no longer a good clinic. Run down, dirty looking and subpar at best.

Please stop referring to your business as a "walk-in" clinic. On my last visit I was very clearly told that I MUST book an appointment, they no longer take walk-ins. Not sure when the term "walk-in" changed to, "walk-in and make an appointment to see a doctor? " No wonder our emergency rooms are over capacity!

I went today morning front desk staff and doctor Baig was very professional This is the first time Edmonton I saw the dr who listen the patient problem properly, not in hurry. I can say I have very good experience.

Brought in the Grand Son for a sore throat which I believes was tonsillitis or strep throat and was told nobwalk ins and the doctor was booked up? What happened to walk in clinics, may as well go and wait in the hospital emergency forb2 to 5 hours to see someone if you have issue

Tried twice to call, no one picked up. Went to there answering machine message. Not very good service at all. Should have listened to what their reviews are like

Stayed on hold for half an hour and walked in on hold to see the receptionist doing nothing not even picking up the phone. Website said 2 hours wait for walk in and the receptionist turned me away.

Nobody picking up the phone even if they if are open. Today is Monday, i've trying to call them since Wednesday.

Dr. Lucewicz has given me exception care and pays attention to detail. He is very thorough. Explains things well, and I never feel rushed. He has great bedside manner and I will continue to see him when necessary.

Terrible, had a doctor tell me that the tumor that I had on my thyroid wasn't causing me to have trouble breathing or swallowing. I came in originally because I was having an issue swallowing and breathing.doctor also told me he couldn't send me for a referral because he was from Toronto? If you can't help a patient why are you seeing them? The absolute wors!

I saw there are few negative comments about the receptionist maybe instead of replying everyone to send you a message just improve the service?

We had an appointment at 10: 30 we went in 10: 20 so we patiently waited. 10: 40 there’s a guy came in said he had an appointment at 10: 00 and the receptionist let him go before us. I don’t quite get this because normally if you are that late the front receptionist will send you away or let other people who are on time (or see the patient FCFs base) go first right? Should we start being all late and cut in front of everyone who are on time? Don’t get what the logic here is. And what’s the point of appointment? Anyways. We just waited for an hour. The doctors and nurses are nice and professional.

Not a walk in clinic, save your time and go somewhere else. No idea why this shows up as walk in clinic

I have tried for the last 4 days to phone the clinic to cancel my appointment. Either they were closed early or they kept asking me for an extension that I did not have. I have used this clinic for close to 20 years but in the last 2 years it has really fallen apart. I guess they will figure out I'm not coming when my appointment time arrives & I do not.

It is so hard to book an appointment with this clinic thru fone. It will tell you the number to key in but then it doesn’t work. I think it needs to be updated.

Nice clinic, nice people working, but ridiculous waiting times. Request to the management, please do something about long waiting times. Be prepare to wait more than an hour after your appointment time.

Very good clinic staff is very helpful. They try and help you if you didn't make an appointment. Being in the middle of a pandemic they aren't taking walk-in appointments.

I Have an appointment at 8: 15 and it 9: 36 I'm still here, I can heard the Dr. Next room talking about SUV.yeahhh.

Front end staff are awesome! Shout out to Aamira! She's so friendly and always cheery. I've been coming here consistently for 3 years now. My first doctor was Dr. Okwuosa who recently moved offices so I can't see her anymore but have now since seen Dr Hanna. Dr Hanna is very friendly and very professional, very easy to talk to. I feel he cares about my needs. From the front end staff to the doctors there I just love going there. The wait times aren't terrible. Every place I've been to has some wait time so nothing is different here but most of the time you get in right on time. On a rating I give them a 10/10. Keep it up) PS: I watched a guy be completely rude to the front end staff tonight and was yelling at the doctor the whole time you could hear him. These people are doing the best with what they have, treat them like humans please!

This Medical Center is Awesome and there staffs are all accommodating to the patients and when you have inquiry they are at your side to answer all. So nice to be on these site for medical check up. Specially the medical staff named CARLO, he gratify, and he speak to you with respect and make you feel comfortable.

I accompanied my husband on his visit to get his injured foot checked out, and the reception staff was very nice. However, our experience went bad after meeting with Dr. Balakrishnan, whose service was not compassionate, was very rude, and overall, not satisfactory.

First, she refused to grant permission for a second X-ray (my husband had one done previously, which showed no injury, but we wanted a repeat x-ray since the pain was not going away, even after resting). She then proceeded to adamantly claim my husband’s injury to be gout, and prescribed medication and bloodwork for it. When I tried to offer my input that it wasn’t gout (I am a licensed nurse, and I told her as much), she completely dismissed me, saying that I was “lower than her level” since she’s a doctor and I’m a nurse.

Having had enough of such awful treatment, we went to our family doctor as soon as we could (we came to this clinic in the first place since our doctor was not available, and my husband’s condition was quite severe). Thanks to our doctor, an X-ray was taken right away, and the results showed crushed bones in my husband’s foot (not gout!).

Dr. Balakrishnan’s service was the exact opposite of what is expected of a licensed practitioner, and I absolutely would not recommend this doctor to anyone. No client deserves such unnecessarily harsh treatment.

I am not sure how this clinic is, first time phone in to see a female doctor to book appointments,
I never see such kind of receptionist (very rude, not pleasant). Ican't book in appointments for my wife, then after she talked with my wife, take all the info need, like health card and all, then telling, oh we can not book it over the phone. You have to come in to clinic to book appointments. What a terrible person. If she is overwhelmed, or having a bad day, then don't work that day. Do not ruin someone else day.she said have to call manager to see if they can book it for patients.
Sounds like she don't know what she is doing. I wouldn't recommend any one to that clinic.

Dr Balakrishnan is one of the best Drs in the country
So diligent attentive and test everything to rule out
Any negative out come she goes away and beyond
And ready to give a medical treatment right on point
Both my husband and I are super lucky to have found her

The receptionist (Amira) was so helpful and organized. The doctor was as quick as possible and they faxed my prescription for me no problem.

Aamira at the reception on 28th Ave medicenter is very supportive and soft-spoken. She is very empathetic, makes you feel comfortable in trying times.

Marwa was wonderful, the other staff was helpful. I've been going to this medicenter for a few years and frankly refuse to go anywhere else.

Just called them for 10 mins straight and no one answered the phone. Seems like they don't care at all about people ‍️

It was fast and quick. Aamira the receptionist was great and helped us right away. She was polite and helpful.

Trying to get through on the phone for a simple inquiry or to book an appointment it keeps directing me to push 221 which then says its an invalid extension, try to press 0 and it says unavailable.

Dr. Balakrishnan did an I&D and packing on me. She did such an amazing job I didn't end up needing to be sedated and didn't need surgery at the hospital. Especially during Covid pandemic, she saved me from having to be in the hospital! I'm so lucky to have a skilled and compassionate family doctor!

It’s walk-in clinic.really convenient to go as really friendly staff. The receptionist Aamira is really polite and cooperative.

I've come here as a walk in clinic off and on for about 10 years now when I can't see my regular family doctor. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The building is always clean and Marau, the receptionist is lovely!
While wait times vary over the years, I've never spent hours waiting. From stitches, to tetanus shots and the flu we've had good experiences!

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for the care you took over every appointment of my husband. I am very grateful for your high standard of care and professionalism. Marwa is always very helpful, especially with our daily dressing walk-ins, answering questions and doing all administrative work efficiently. Also, Dr. L. Balakrishnan was very sympathetic and experienced – she gave my husband a thorough examination and I came away reassured and a good understanding of the ongoing treatment needed. Great service!

I visited the clinic yesterday and had a great experience. Aamira, at the front desk was amazing, she was really friendly, respectful and professional. Been coming in this clinic for almost 8 years now and never had any regrets or dissapointments. Staff and my doctor Dr. Balakrishnan are very accomodating even on pandemic season especially Carlos. He makes sure everyone is safe and protected.

Medicentres millwoods location is very hospitable and make sure all patients are attended. Marwa attended me she is very nice and kind nurse. I hope they will continue help a lots of patients. Very good place, clean and organized.

Great place, hours are amazing and convenient. Marwa, the receptionist is very kind, and helpful. My go to place, great with babies and getting them in fast. I would recommend, a little bit of a wait at times, but you can always come back after checking in.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Marwa was exceptional to deal with and very professional with all clients who came in!
