Rooms wwre okay. What really was not good was the cleanliness of the pool area and wreaked of way too much chlorine. Floor was dirty, didn't look taken care of at all!

Just needed a few updates. Otherwise, it's a pretty awesome hotel. Be careful on the water slides. I did break my foot

Don’t bother staying here. The beds are terrible. Rooms dated, and dirty. Bathroom door is warped like it had bad water damage. Front desk staff is rude. Hot tub hasn’t worked in 3 years. Pool is cold and dirty. If we weren’t staying with a group of people I would’ve checked out and stayed somewhere else.

We stayed at the hotel 2023 for a hockey tournament, the pool area was dirty looking, entertainment in the casino is embarrassing for this establishment we’ve stayed years ago and wow has it gone downhill, we were there in December before Christmas, no outside lights at the parking lot entrance, no music playing or atmosphere, I guess it’s the only game in town so the owners don’t care about there appearance, location is great.won’t stay or spend my money in the casino!

Don't even bother booking here. The front reception is insanely rude for no reason the moment you walk in. We were with our children and they told us no partying (we had no alcohol), no more than 5 people in the room even with family visitors, no swimming for anyone who isn't staying in the room, no birthday parties. The hotel rooms are disgusting, dated, and very neglected. Same for the pool. The hot tub apparently has been out of order for 2 years, the pool was freezing cold, the toddler pool was kind of warm. The pool area is gross, and not taken care of. Honestly for the $140 spent, take your money elsewhere where the rooms and pools are well kept, and much nicer.

I can’t review the casino as I didn’t go into it. This was honestly such a great hotel though. Their free breakfast is amazing. Although, I think the one thing I could comment on is how fast they take away that food. Once it hits 9: 30am those full trays of food are wasted, instantly. I’ve seen plenty of people come and miss it. If you have tons of kids coming in especially for hockey, maybe extend your breakfast a bit? I mean 9: 30am shut down is fairly early and such a waste when an extra 30 mins or so couldn’t hurt. I’ve seen 10am shut downs for breakfasts. You would think that being attached to a casino everything would be open later to accommodate for those who stay up later as well. We missed a breakfast due to a late game for the kids, so that was unfortunate. We’ve had other hotels accommodate for later breakfasts without us asking. Just a suggestion…The pool was nice and warm. It too closed fairly early and right on the dot. The security guard was waiting there for the last 30 mins. The hockey team was unable to enjoy the pool due to schedules for games. So all the kids loved it! Room service was pricey, it was decent, but small for the price. There were two restaurants attached to the hotel: a steakhouse and an Asian cuisine (I believe). Seems to be awesome promotions during the week for seafood and other things for the steakhouse, but the only issue is that it’s only 5pm-9pm. Both the attached restaurants are. There’s plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area that are walking distance, so that’s a plus. (McDonald’s, Tim’s, Montana’s, Wendy’s) We were in one of the king suites that had a door to separate the rooms. I found the bathroom so nice and spacious. The whole room was! I thought the balcony/pool view was so neat for the other rooms in the other tower. Overall very decent stay for the price. Would I suggest going with a team of younger kids/teens? Probably not. The boys weren’t even able to hang out or spend some time. The security guard shoed them away to be quiet in the halls. There’s a 10pm “quite time. ” It’s definitely more accommodating for the older demographic for sure. I believe I read that there is a $300 fee for violating that rule. So if you want to be able to room around or let your kids play mini sticks…probably want to choose a different hotel.

Back in the late 90s and early 2000's this place was amazing for the area. Just stayed here in Dec 2023 and was hoping to experience the same. The biggest disappointment was the front desk staff. In fact on the weekend even had a east Indian women at the front desk out and out lie to us. Its disappointing that the hot tub is dismantled. Aside from that the hotel is a bit dated but a shadow of what it was. As a hotel its fine to stay at just not special anymore with very weak front desk staff

Where to begin? This hotel is very dated, like early 1990s dated. Rooms need major renovations (bathrooms, furniture, carpet, climate control, windows). Front sliding doors are noisy. Pool looks disgusting and dirty. The hallway to our rooms smelled of urine. Staff service quality is hit and miss, like any business, but it is the lack of staff. Two examples, Waited 20 minutes in the lounge to clear bill while our waitress walked the casino with the drink cart and no other staff member could close out our tab. Second was we waited 1 hour for lunch to be served because one waitress was working lunch time rush. We even told her before ordering that we needed to have our meals in a hurry to make an appointment and she said should not be an issue. Meal was cold when served and we were late for our meeting. We went three days without our room being cleaned or tidied up. When I complained on day two I was told they don't clean the rooms unless we put out the door hanger tag for it to be cleaned (its on a piece of paper on the desk in the room which we failed to read, but this was in relation to the pandemic and has not been updated). On day three we had the hanger out to request housekeeping and they still missed it. This is a minor issue but we requested early check in, if possible, due to a funeral we needed to attend at 2pm. Nope, check in was a 4pm and no concessions were made. Too many staff saying, "not my responsibility or job" (Housekeeping and restraunt staff I'm looking at you). Free breakfast was poor to mediocre at best. Location is great, right of Hwy#1, and close to several restaurants within walking distance and Medicine Hat Mall. Asked for GM to call me to relay my concerns and they failed to do so. I hope this review will help people make better choices of their accommodations.

We stayed in room 373 which was supposed to be one of their “best” rooms due to the steam shower. The furniture was disgusting, the bed must’ve been ancient and the pillows were awful.

For a place that’s always packed with families to use the pool you’d think they’d at least update a bit. The owners should be embarrassed. I’ve seen better bedding and furniture in a dive hotel in the middle of nowhere. The carpets were crispy too.

The steam shower is set up so that the steam comes out at your feet where you sit so your feet get burned unless you move up against the glass door. It actually doesn’t work that well even.

The casino was fun but the food there was terrible.

Parking lot is pretty rough tons of potholes. Same garbage laying around parking spaces from time of arrival to departure.

Lobby is spacious as is there breakfast serving area with plenty of tables. Breakfast itself was well done and had a variety of options.

Both front desk staff members were incredibly unhelpful and uninviting on check-in. Misinformed about several things including having an arcade in the water park.

After searching the water park we returned to ask the employee adjacent to him and her reply was "yeah, I heard him telling you about that and I knew there was no arcade in there". So instead of correcting her co-worker they decided to let us search aimlessly.

The hotels halls and rooms are stained throughout and smelled of urine. The hotel and waterpark was dirty and unkempt. Slides all peeling paint right into water. Old stained mattresses and stained ceiling panels. Sheets were not fitted well and come off mattress easily.

Definitely not what one would think of a 4 star hotel. The Casino and bar were in much better condition.

This is still my favorite place to stay even though it’s a little dated in a little worn in some places it’s still very clean well-kept

The breakfast that is included is still good. It wasn’t as good as it used to be, but I still good.

Always try to stay here when I am in the hat. Older hotel but it’s in great shape, awesome breakfast and staff is awesome

Rooms were slightly dated, but loved the place. Kids loved the waterslides! They have a kiddie pool and a regular pool, but no hottub! There was also a complimentary breakfast included! We will definitely stay here again!

I am being charitable giving 2 stars as you can see the last 2 reviews on here someone forgot to tell them the long weekend is over. For what you pay the rooms are mediocre as it comes. Except that there is a lot of space it should be considered a budget hotel for what is given. So I guess they are price gauging?

Absolutely great! Clean room and amazing staff. They exceeded my expectations. They were more than accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a conference. The lobby was inviting and spacious, but that's the only good thing I can day about this place. The rooms are old, outdated and in need of upgrades. As you can see by some of the pictures the bathroom is the most neglected area, leaking faucet in the tub, a toilet that runs continuously, mold issues in the tub. I asked if I could checkout at noon instead of 11 and was told right out 'no'. The housekeeping staff doesn't accept late checkouts. Would I stay here in the future, the answer is no. One last point I have to make mention of is the coffee served in the restaurant for breakfast and in the conference, I'm not sure what brand they use but the coffee served is definitely the worst I have ever tasted.when you can see the bottom of your cup with a full cup that gives you an idea of how weak it is, as for the taste, one word, disgusting.

Terrible and unprofessional front end staff. Message left with management not returned. Terrible breakfast buffet, removed pool tables in the lounge, false advertising about hot tub. Never seems to get the billing right, 3rd time we were over charged. As a repeat customer, will not go back!

There was hair under the pillow of our bed, our kids bed cover was stained, the walls were dirty, the wallpaper was falling out in places, the jetted tub was too gross to use.

The waterslides look run down and nasty and the hot tub is closed and has been closed for years apparently.

The place was so dirty that we for the first time ever left the hotel, got a refund and went and stayed somewhere else.

Now, this is a criticism of the cleaning staff and ownership, not the couple of managers who I spoke with who were lovely.

The front desk service is not helpful at all and not friendly the rooms are not bad we, we did have fun in the pool.
