Memorial Square Dental Clinic

My whole family were patients at this clinic, my husband went for a cleaning and I asked them to notify me if anything else had to be done as my husband didn’t speak English, they charged him almost $600 for something that I was told $200. My husband and I moved to a different clinic but then they kept booking my son every 6 months when I had mentioned numerous times that our plan covered every 9 months. I never received a call for any amount owing until I received an invoice, no one ever tried calling me to pay. This is not an insurance thing, this is your lack of customer service, to ensure that you let the patient know any amount not being covered. You did the work and then Realized it wasn’t covered because you scheduled the appointments too soon. Be careful when booking appointments apparently it’s never their fault, as long as they get paid.

I've been going here since I was a kid, and the staff is always kind and understanding. I do not have insurance, and they never charge me more than I can afford. Dr. Hassan was great!

Very professional and skilled, top to bottom. Cannot recommend them more highly. Dr. Hassan is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what’s going on so there are no surprises. Very calming, as well. Thanks to Michelle, Uzma, and the entire team.

I've been going to Memorial Square Dental Clinic for over 10 years. The staff are amzing and very friendly. The team is always ready and willing to help with my dental treatment and any issues that I have. One of the best doctor that we see is Dr Chuah. She's amzing and very helpful with our situations. She's compassionate and she's always there to make us happy. Very good experience from this place, I highly recommend Memorial Square Dental Clinic.

On time, efficient and super friendly with my kids. One of my kids hates the whole process but even when he got upset, the hygienist was calm, pleasant and helped him get through what needed to be done. We moved out of the neighbourhood but keep coming back because we appreciate the staff. Nice work!

Dr. Ahmed Hassan was amazing, very thorough and amazing to be around. Going to the dentist can be uncomfortable especially when you need work done but he never makes you feel judged or worried about what’s needing to be done. He’s absolutely amazing.

I've been seeing Dr. Chuah for years now, she one is the most compassionate and caring doctors I have met. Not to mention she is professional, knowledgeable and will make sure you're comfortable throughout the whole procedure/visit. You can tell she really cares about the well being of her patients & is the reason I'm no longer afraid to go to the dentist.
Honestly the whole clinic is great, the receptionists are helpful and will try to squeeze you in ASAP if you're experiencing pain. I have seen Dr. Nayef a couple of times when I couldn't get in to see Dr. Chuah and he's been great as well. He was able to answer all my questions/concerns and provided me a realistic overview of my options. They have never suggested or pushed any unnecessary procedures in all my years going here. Would highly recommend!

Definitely my go to dentist office! The people there are super friendly and knowledgeable.

My 1st dental experience in Canada was with Memorial Square Dental last 2018, I was fully satisfied with the whole experience but never came back I didn't have insurance that time so it was costly. Went to different dental clinics throughout the years but not happy at all. Glad I came back last week, this is the only dental clinic I trusted the way how they thoroughly clean and care for your teeth! Thanks Memorial Square Dental

Such sweet staff and really great service! The dental assistant and the Dr.were so kind to me and really fun to spend time with! They helped me get the referral I needed for my teeth! I always recommend Memorial dental to my friends who need a new dentist office!

It was a fantastic experience, from the moment I walked in the friendly staff at the front desk reception greeted me and were very friendly and terrific. All the staff treated me very well fantastic amazing service. I would recommend this location to anyone, been going there for about 10 years and I love the atmosphere and the staff were amazing.

Fixed cavity promptly. Dr. Chua and staff have been my choice for years because of great care they give.

Dr Chua and her assistant was very professional, kind and gentle as usual, she explains all procedures and takes time to answer or addressed any questions that I had. I would not hesitate to recommend family or friends for her care.

Today I had a different dental hygienist. She did really good. I am a true scardy cat of anything dental. My experience was very good.

The dentists at memorial square are kind and patient. Dr. Atharva Desai took his time with my son who was scared to get a tooth pulled out. I highly recommend him.

Two weeks ago, I started the Invisalign treatment with an orthodontist clinic. The first week, I started experiencing unbearable pain. I knew it was normal to have “ some “ pain but didn’t expect it to be this bad. I tried to tough it out as it was the holidays and I just thought I was overreacting. Unfortunately, it got to the point where I couldn’t sleep, drink, eat, swallow, or open my mouth. IM TERRIFIED of dentists (due to an awful experience 2 years ago) but I ended up at an emergency dentist that said my Invisalign were not filed properly and off I went. They didn’t prescribed me anything but I knew deep down it was not normal so I decided to go to another dentist the next day. I found Memorial Square Dental clinic and called to see if they could take me as a new patient as my last dentist visit was 2 years Ago. I spoke to Joni, who was super helpful, so kind and patient with me. She help me through the whole booking process and they were able to see me the same day! Beautiful office, clean and tidy. Everyone is so nice and understanding. I was seeing by Dr. Desai and his assistant Karen! He was able to get to the root of my problem. I had an infection! He prescribed me medication and also let me know I had a cavity (which I’m not sure how the orthodontist clinic did not catch that even though they took x-rays). Thankfully the meds helped and I needed to pull my bottom wisdom teeth out so I had an appointment scheduled. My anxiety was off the roof but thankfully they both made me feel very comfortable. The oral surgery was actually not as bad as I thought. I went home and two hours later, I thought I was bleeding too much so I called them to see if they can see me for a couple of minutes to make sure everything is fine. I was there within 5 mins, Dr Desai reassured me everything is looking good so I went home and rested for the evening. Thank you! My experience with this office has been the greatest so far! Keep up the good work! I’ll be referring anyone I know! See you at my next appointment!

I love Memorial Dental, Dr. Chuah is amazing! She is so friendly and makes dental appointments a breeze, the hygienist Tracy, I love as well! They ate professional and yet I feel like family. Please do not retire EVER!

I trust Memorial square dental clinic for our dental needs for my family, this is our dental clinic for more than 2 years now.staffs are very professional and friendly at the same time. My 9year old daughter was accomodated on urgent basis the first time we call them. (the other clinic referred her to pedia dental clinic which they dont do direct billing-annoying) And from then on, we bacame their regular patients for our dental hygiene care️️Highly recomended Thank you Memorial square

They start charging like crazy my insurance is covering 90% but on my each family visit they are charging more then $100 when asked they said your insurance is not covering the portion which they worked told them why did I not told me before my visit they don't have answer I removed my self from this dentist as this is not the professional approach I feel robbed so no more visit this place in future need honest people

I feel very comfortable when I come to the clinic. I have fun with the dental hygienist plus she is professional and highly skilled. The dentist is kind and thoughtful such as building up a gap between two teeth. Creative! He is professional and able.

This Dentistry office is the only one that I have had take my concerns seriously and give me input, time and options. I Have stayed with them even after moving further away because they truly care and take care of their patients. I have been a loyal patient for 15 years and will continue to be.

I have been going to this dental clinic for over 4 years. Each visit has been a positive experience. The front staff is super friendly and all of the hygienists I’ve come across have been nothing but kind and extremely professional. I used to hate going to the dentist but they have changed my perspective entirely. They take the time to explain the procedures prior to commencing, and check in throughout the appointment to make sure you are ok. I also love that they have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of staff and clients during the Covid 19 pandemic.

I moved to the Deep South end of the city 2 years ago, but still go out of my way to be a client here. I would highly recommend them.

Everyone friendly except for receptionist name Joni. She very rude and talk down to you if you asian and don’t speak good english. I read reviews and other people complain about her too.

Excellent service. Everyone is very friendly and the dental hygienist are exceptional. Everything is clean and they used all the Covid protocols. Waiting time is almost close to none. Very happy with the service they provide

Great and friendly staff, but was confused by the male indian dentist that told me several times to "open super tall". Very strange, it must be a phrase used in India that I'm not aware of.

Aman in the front desk is very polite and professional. I usually go to this place for any dental procedures and was always happy with the results. Most hygienist are calm and very gentle so I prefer going to this place however I was unhappy with my last visit though. I requested to see a specific hygienist however on my last appointment i was booked with a temporary hygienist. No one had told me that I was booked with a different hygienist the fact that 2 ladies from the front desk had called me to confirm the appointment. The hygienist i saw the last time was friendly but she was too hard on my mouth and teeth. I was so uncomfortable the whole time and would like to leave. Per my experience with other hygienist (if im not mistaken), they would 1) scale my teeth 2) use an ultrasonic water pick 3) floss 4) and would do fluoride. I was so confused of what my last hygienist was doing because, she skept some of the steps and skept some of my teeth and never came back. I have metal braces and she did not floss my teeth very well. She did not go under the metal wire and only floss half level of the tooth. I was in pain because while she scales i can feel the needle poking to my gums. My tongue also got sucked by the suction tube for saliva. When she was brushing my teeth with fluoride using the electric brush, the handle and brush swept on my lip. My boyfriend had the same issue with our last hygienist. We have the same one as we were booked back-to-back. He was also in pain and was so uncomfortable. We are hesitant for our next visit and would definitely not book with her again.

I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience at the clinic! My hygienist Uzma is so thorough with her cleanings! I’ve been seeing Dr. Chuah since I was a kid and she’s always so warm and kind. The front desk staff are very welcoming and the entire experience is very organized even with all the pandemic precautions.

Learned and excellent Dentists!

The people in this dental clinic are awesome! I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the building with my son! Lots of protections in place due to covid (gowns, face masks, face shields, lots of plexiglass barriers, and lots of room for social distancing), the place smelled of cleaners and sanitizers! We felt very safe in the building. And we will be going back there again and again! If we moved 2 hours out of the city, we would drive into the city just to come to this dental clinic.

My kids have been going to Memorial Dental for two plus years. At first I was hesitant as I have one child on the spectrum and he doesn’t like to be touch, lights and noise. The staff at Memorial dental was amazing with him, he now goes in on his own and leaves a happy guy! I have not had the best experience with other dentists, but Dr. Desai changed that for me. He knew I had some anxiety and he took his time and explained everything to me. Tracey did my cleaning and she was amazing, she explained everything, she was organized and efficient. I definitely recommend Memorial Square dental.
