Mephisto

Went to look at shoes last night. I'm on a bit of a budget right now, so I was checking out the clearance rack. There was a pair of shoes without a sale tag on it, so I asked the sales associate what the sale price was.

He said "There is very limited sizing on that shoe". So I inquired about my size and without even checking, he responded, "Yeah, I probably don't have that size" then showed me a shoe that was full price.

If there was only limited selection, it shouldn't be that hard to check if my size is there.

I can take a hint, though! I promptly left the store.

If I could rate this store a zero I would.

Tried to buy a pair of clogs here today. The older gentleman working was more interested in arguing on the phone rather than serve customers. I stayed in the store patiently waiting for 15 minutes and he just continued to argue on the phone despite me asking for sizing.

Went to the store in West Edmonton Mall regarding my issue (about a year ago), and I was told it wasn't a defect (kept wearing them on my back deck). Now they are too far gone, and decided to contact Mephisto. They would do nothing without a receipt. Not worth wasting your time stealing! Buy higher quality sandals at a much lower price. This way, you won't be so bothered when you have to buy another pair.keep in mind that both shoes are worn at the same time and walk on the exact same surfaces.

I bought some shoes here in April of 2022, this year in January the sole and heel started separating from each other. I returned to the store, and the manager was extremely helpful and had the shoes repaired as good as new in under a week. Great friendly and prompt service. We need more places like this.

I bought my third pair of shoes from Mephisto store. Excellent shoes. Excellent store. Recommended.

Beware of the No Refunds policy that this store has. Unlike online, this store will not do refunds, and they don't tell you about it. The salesperson, when confronted about the lack of disclosure on this policy, claimed to 'remember' telling me about it at the checkout. Funny how he didn't remember that he was on the phone with another customer, the entire time he was checking me out, and couldn't have told me. This is not a review about the products but about the store's policy and poor customer service.

I have shopped here often and love their sandals-excellent for travel and serious walking. I had a great experience today with both staff. Friendly and helpful. The one gentleman even took the time to discuss my shoes (not purchased there) and offered suggestions to improve their condition.

Love the shoe store. Very knowledgeable staff. Suffered with heel spurs until I found these shoes, now my feet feel wonderful.

Under new management, more selection better prices. The Store Manager takes all his time to make sure we got the right pair of shoes. We have used Mephisto shoes since 2012 and will never use any other brand for less. Wise investment in our foot wear.comfort and body alignment. Thank you Mephisto for all your craftsmanship in the making.

They have shoes that actually work with my feet. I have a high instep and wide feet. I love the selection and excellent customer service.
