I had an exceptional experience with Mercedes Benz Downtown Calgary when my engine light came on late evening during my ride home. The following morning, I called at 9 am, and although the earliest diagnostic slot was three days away, Jessica went the extra mile. After putting me on hold briefly, she managed to squeeze in a quick diagnostic between scheduled appointments. By 11: 30 am, my car was with the tech team, and my wife was provided a shuttle ride back home in a Mercedes.
The diagnostic was swift, and action followed immediately. All necessary parts were in stock, and the actual repair took only two hours. By 3 pm, my wife had her car ready for pickup, complete with another Mercedes shuttle ride from our home to the Downtown office. The entire process was completed in half a day, and there was no waiting for parts. The certified technicians did a remarkable job in a extremely short time. This level of service is truly impressive on every front. Shopping at mall will take you longer than this
The communication from the initial call (thanks to Jessica), the subsequent text messages outlining each step, and the clear explanation of the issue (courtesy of Danny) were superb. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of the technicians behind the scenes, but their immediate fix deserves recognition. The efficiency displayed by this team surpassed my expectations.
From start to finish, the expertise exhibited was top-notch. My overall experience was nothing short of superb - from the ease of communication to the knowledgeable personnel. On a personal note, I've dealt with Mercedes Benz Downtown Calgary in the past, and Jesse, even when he didn't have to, contacted the main Benz office in Canada to address some of my warranty concerns. Every time I need to visit this place, I'm confident it will be a pleasurable experience.

Our business own this GLC 300 which we bought last year from a very good looking and extra polite, very professional a Sales executive Mr. John Hughes.
Down Town Mercedes Benz dealer are exceptional. During our first service call to maintain our car they were on top.
Now we went to install the winter tires in our GLC and Macan again they were just provided awesomely great service.
We were handled in service department by politely at front by Jessie. Nice gentleman.
We highly recommend this down town dealer for everything.

Had a very pleasant and positive experience with the team at MB DT! I worked with Danny W (Sales), Charlene P (Sales Manager) and John E (FM). Danny was down to earth, kind, professional, respectful and non-judgemental. He was personable and asked questions to get to know me better as a customer. I never felt pressured by Danny! I do own Mercedes ml 350 diesel. Called this shop to get brake rotors they advised me that they’re in stock for around $200 each. When I asked for the specs size of the rotors and part number to try my luck and search for a better price it was declined. The guy told me they never give away that information.

I owned multiple brands including bmw and they were always cooperative with me. I believe I even was able to get this information from an another Mercedes dealer but this particular location was completely useless. If this is the service you’re getting from Mercedes what’s the point to overpay that much? They are not any reliable like they were before, any Kia would give them a break. They are not nicer looking or luxury then the other cheaper brands.

Take it as a consideration when looking for a car

I bought my GT53 4-door coupe from this location after having a bad experience at the Country Hills dealership, where I felt like I was neglected due to my young age. I witnessed my parents receiving better explanations and details on Mercedes-Benz features from a salesperson, despite I'm the one who was buying a new car and they were just tagging along.

I totally recommend this location if you're buying a car from Mercedes-Benz. The staff here is very friendly and they do not judge based on appearances of their potential customers. I highly recommend talking to Jack and John; both were very insightful, helpful, and importantly, very fast throughout the whole process!

I called Parts to receive some assistance with determining whether a particular OEM part was compatible with my vehicle. The rep's first response was to mockingly say "wow, vintage" when I told him about my 2003 car and the part. He then informed me that they probably don't have anything and he wouldn't know, and said "well you'd only be able to hook up an MP3 player anyway, do you even know what an MP3 is? That's how old your car is. " and laughed at me, and said I should call BestBuy as maybe they'd know. So not only was he incapable of determining if the part was compatible with my vehicle, but he also felt the need to insult me. To add, I was polite throughout the interaction, and didn't do anything to warrant that sort of treatment. Truly a bizarre experience.

I purchased my factory order S580 from this dealership, after being given a hard time by country hills. Couldn’t be happier with the level of service and professionalism from the full staff, Dan Kim responded promptly to all my requests and questions in the ordering process. It took a while since it was a factory build, but it was well worth the wait!

The sales manager Charlene is splendid, along with Jason in financing and Neil who gave the full run down of the vehicles specs during delivery. Do not hesitate to give this Dealership your business you won’t regret it.

Arif Budhwani was incredible to deal with. He went above and beyond our expectations.

We purchased the car remotely and he was great to deal with.he was able to provide additional pictures and a walk around video for us while we were making our decision. In addition, Arif was able to secure underground storage for the car over the winter while we arranged transportation to Kelowna. He assisted with the shipping of the vehicle and took photos to document the loading of the car to ensure there was no damage.

An memorable customer experience and we would highly recommend Arif to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I have a story I'd like to share with a happy ending. I bought a used E class coupe in Edmonton it came with a block heater from new. I had no idea where the plug was so I went to my nearest dealership. I went to service spoke with an advisor. I asked him if he could help me with the location of my block heater plug and i will plug in the cable myself. This is my 3rd Mercedes and I wrench on my cars to save money. He told me for $129.99+Tax they would gladly plug it in for me. I didn't have the money being a single father and needing a $100 cable already. I was told no he couldn't help me unless i pay for install but I just needed to know the location. Then the rude comments came after. He said the type of clients they usually deal with own a garage or heated parking. That this usually isn't an issue for those type of clients. Now obviously I was offended and left not purchasing a cable. I have went all winter with no block heater because I don't want to step foot in another Mercedes dealership honestly. So I decided to phone Calgary Mercedes downtown location. I got Mike Jennings in Service I explained the story and situation and instantly he said I will get back to you asap. 5mins later Mike explained the location and I realized why I couldn't see it or find it all this time. I am so greatful and thankful I met a Service advisor that believes in customer relations. I will be buying a cable on my days off and finally have my block heater working. Mike restored my faith in Mercedes as a company and I will be buying my next Mercedes from this location even tho I live in Edmonton. Thank you Mike Jennings once again for the empecable service.

This was my first time at this Mercedes dealership and we had a great service. The lady was friendly and helpful. She fixed my issues right away and explain all the details to me and my husband. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Really good customer service. Highly recommend this location.

Mike and his team at Hyatt Mercedes go out of their way to ensure servicing my car is a great experience. Over the years, I can tell they’ve made customer service a priority. They are unfailingly polite and understanding, and I appreciate the times they try to accommodate my schedule. Love the new service centre - if you opt to wait, it’s set up so that you can work remotely if needed.

My experience with the staff from Mercedes-Benz
downtown Calgary with one of my best experiences with any dealership. Jonathon Huges and Charlene Pangandian was outstanding. They helped with getting out of my current lease earlier than expected and got me into a beautiful new vehicle. They listened to our frustrations with dealing with other dealerships and made us feel heard.
John Espanol & Robin Tse from finance were excellent to deal with and made the paperwork and insurance switch over a breeze. Neal was very informative on all the functions and features of the vehicle and taught me new things that I never knew that this vehicle was even capable of.
I was also congratulated by Justin Edgar as I was walking out the door on my new Mercedes Benz vehicle.
Customer Service at it's finest from the lovely staff at Mercedez-Benz Downtown Calgary. Keep up the great work!

First, for transparency, I have yet to purchase a vehicle from Downtown Benz, but I felt an obligation to leave a review explaining my experience so far.

I'm sure no one enjoys the process of coming into a dealership, as we all know the stereotypes. I've done all my research, and decided on a specific vehicle and model, even finding the exact build on the lot. I made a general enquiry over email, and received a response from Dan Kim within an hour. Ok, good start, let's see if this goes as planned.

I spoke with Dan explaining my situation, and letting him know that he doesn't need to sell me on the car, I just need his help getting the numbers to where I wanted them. Dan then asked if I could come in in person to chat. I rolled my eyes, and thought to myself "Here we go. ". So I put on my "negotiating" hat, and went to visit Dan the next day.

My expectations of what was to happen was completely flipped on its head. Dan didn't try to sell me anything, didn't try to upset me, or get me into something I didn't want, or simply couldn't afford. Dan asked what was most important to me, and what he needed to do to earn my business, NOT close a sale. Even these choice words spoke volumes.

The cherry on top was meeting Charlene, the sales manager for downtown Benz. I'll be the first to admit, I was amazed at how young she was to be a manager for Benz. As soon as I saw her, the stereotyping started in my mind. "Oh she must be a Shark, ok get ready Peter, she's going to eat you alive". Once again, complete opposite. Charlene was VERY professional and spoke to me with respect and dignity, not like someone who was trying to close a sale. We ended up chatting for about 10 minutes, and I was at ease THE ENTIRE TIME! What's happening? This isn't what I expected from a Benz dealership!

I ended up leaving downtown with the information I needed, and had another appointment at Country Hills that same afternoon. Here's the funny thing, as soon as I got to Country Hills, my guard was down as I thought I would experience the same level of service as I did with Dan and Charlene. Boy was I wrong.

The sales associate assigned to me was different then the one who made the appointment with me. Ok, no big deal, but not the BEST first impression. As soon as the sales person met me, began to speak OVER me, and told me what I wanted, not listening to a single thing I said in our email. I told him I knew what I wanted and just needed his help getting my numbers in order. He said he understood, but "Let me show you why this car is SICK BRO". Please, if you're in sales, do not ever use the word SICK and BRO during your sales pitch. It's embarrassing.

When he finally stopped pushing other cars on me, he finally sat down with the finance manager and discussed what Downtown Benz offered me. After TWENTY MINUTES of waiting, they both came out of the finance managers office and began to call BS on the numbers I provided. I didn't argue, I said "Ok, well if you can just give me your best number, then I can go home and discuss this with my wife". His response was to continue denying the numbers Downtown Benz provided, and kept saying "Someone's lying to you". The best part? THEY NEVER GAVE ME A NUMBER! All they did was continue calling me and Downtown Benz a liar.

I wanted to get out of Country Hills as fast as I could. I was smiling and laughing the entire drive home, shaking my head wondering why I didn't expect that from Country Hills. But it just shows you, not all dealerships are the same. I'm so happy I went to visit Dan and Charlene in person, and got to know them so quickly. The level of comfort tbey provided me, the way they listened to my needs without undermining me was refreshing. Downtown Benz, and especially Dan and Charlene, have earned my business for life moving forward. They have changed my entire outlook on luxury vehicle sales, and I am grateful and happy to say that there are still good people out there in sales. Give Downtown a shot, you will NOT be disappointed, and especially if you go with Mr. Dan Kim!

We've been a long time client over the years and have a peace of mind with regards to our vehicle service and transactions with the dealership. With our recent vehicle purchase we were accommodated by the amazing Danny Williams who is very kind and informative with regards to the vehicle specifications and sales details. We really appreciate the amazing customer service manager Neal, sales manager Charlene, and finance manager Lisa for their assistance in handling our purchase transaction. We purchased my Mercedes a couple of weeks ago and our experience with Arif the salesman was very positive, we felt he was patient and didn't pressure us at all. We felt there was transparency and trust with the the information he provided, with regards to the specific vehicles we were interested in. Arif was very knowledgeable, considerate and took time to consult as to my specific needs listened and answered all my questions prior to purchasing my Mercedes.
I would definitely be advising family and friends to connect with the team given our experience.
We found John with finance team equally efficient with providing us with as much information and advice as to the protection package offers.
After buying my care I received prompt timely responses from all the team as to the preparation and protection package. Neal the technician

was equally knowledgeable explaining all the controls, navigation system and features.
Overally I would say after quite some time, buying a car from the dealership was an enjoyable and trusting experience.
Thank you to all the team and I absolutely love my new Mercedes! It's the nicest care I have been blessed to have.

The business office runs seamless and smooth, I have leased and purchased through the business office. Very efficient and well executed, Exceptional.
The sales process is equally so, I was on a 2021 model year and the web site configurator did not allow me to build the car as ordered. Somewhat unsettling, my sales fellow was Jon Hughes, a seasoned and long time Sales Professional with MBDC, he assured me the car would come as ordered, he babysat the transaction and kept me abreast of the build and delivery schedule. Exceptional.
Hair Club Neil, who handles the delivery of the vehicle was exceptional as well. The business office, sales process and delivery was high quality. Clearly, MBDC is a well managed company / business. Exceptional you might say! Thank you all.

I order and customize the GLS 2021. When it arrived. An amazing thing happened, my driver's back door leather take the wrong color. However, Justin and Jerry order a new for me immediately, I know this is not their problem, but they sincerely apologize to me and make it to speedy turnover. Super kindly and friendly.
And Lisa makes a professional introduction about my GLS body film and ceramic, and give a good deal.
Neal is very patient with me, and took about 2 hours to introduce each function about my GLS.
All of them are excellent!:)
Which class is my next Mercedes? Lol

We purchased a C63S this summer and had the pleasure of dealing with Nico Gonzaga and Govan Bianchini they were amazing from the start to the finish.

Be careful when buying any demo or used cars from them especially if you do not live in Calgary. Their customer service is beyond lackluster towards those not currently residing within the city.   I paid $41,282 to buy a 2020 BENZ GlA 250 demo car from them on July 7th 2020 and I live in Toronto. Firstly they told me the car would be delivered to a Mercedes (MB) dealership near my home however my car was actually delivered to a random parking lot over 50 KM from my house. When I went there to pick up my car, I found many scuffs and scratches on the car’s body and a lot of dirty brake dust in all four rims. I contacted sales immediately on the same day and he told me I can claim a reimbursement of my vehicle from the vehicle relocation company. Then I tried to claim it from a vehicle relocation company and received their inspection report with signatures from MB staff in MB Calgary stating that they too have noticed these problems when checking over my car. That means MB Calgary knew the condition of the vehicle was not up to standards yet still delivered it to me as a new (demo) car. From my understanding, a demo car should be like a new car and at least the car’s body should appear to be like a new car. My insurance company checked this car’s record and told me this car is a demo car and charged me the rate as a new car.   However, when I contacted MB Calgary to help me fix my car, they have done nothing to help me.   I have both called and emailed Vehicle inspection report to their customer experience manager and he told me he cannot help and instead redirected me to poo sales. Then I called sales again for help and the department began ignoring my phone number. It looks like they have no customer service after they sold the car to me. The overall experience feels very similar to a scam. It is clear with the reports sent to me that they were aware there were some problems with their car body but they still sent it to me because they think I am out of Calgary and therefore cannot go to them directly. After the payment was given to them, I received no communication with the dealership from that point forward. This situation has left me both angry and in disbelief. I will set up similar reviews on RedFlag and similar websites  to show an inspection report from a car relocation company to prove my claim.

This was an extremely special purchase for me since this car was bought for my wife as a surprise 10 year anniversary present! Chris not only made the process seamless and effortless but went above and beyond even when on vacation to work with me to ensure that I got everything on my wish-list (bow and all) for her while providing the best possible deal on a Brand new 2018 GLA. There are 2 other Benz dealerships in Calgary but Chris's professionalism and straight forward no gimmicks or tactic demeanor and value for a client's time made choosing downtown Benz for my purchase an easy choice. The entire team that I dealt with (forgot names.my apologies) by far exceeded all the level of standards set by the other Benz dealerships and I highly recommend them to anyone without a second thought. Thank you to the whole team for helping me make this experience a memorable one for my wife!

My wife and I recently leased our 7th & 8th SUV's this year from Mercedes-Benz Downtown Calgary and I just cannot say enough about how Justin Edgar and his team made this another smooth and fantastic experience! I will continue to wholeheartedly recommend this dealership as THE place to buy or lease your Mercedes. They listened to our every need, they kept in touch constantly updating us, when day of delivery came they explained every new feature fully and made sure that we were comfortable before we left the dealership. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family! They have great customer service and really go the extra mile to ensure you're satisfied. I will definitely consider them with my future vehicle purchases. Special thanks to Mike Sore (sales manager) and Robin Tse (finance manager) for all their help! In addition, the delivery manager who went over the vehicle's features and spec's was awesome (I regretfully forgot his name). I also must note, I work at a dealership and live in Edmonton. Recently I made my first purchase of a stunning Benz at this location! The team made it a very comfortable experience - informative, no pressure and easy.

George in sales was particularly helpful as was the entire customer service team from the front desk to the gentleman who delivered my vehicle. George responded to emails quickly, even communicated to me via text which made the process even easier and more effective.
