Our dog Dobby went in with an undiagnosed mouth abscess and was seen right away! The service was quick and we have been given meds for her to heal before returning for a minor surgery. Thanks for the help!

The worst veterinary ever, I'm from Mexico, my dog ​​is sick and takes her there and it was a mistake. Not even in Latin America had I encountered such a bad veterinarian, it is the worst, their prices are high, and the doctor who looks oriental looks like he has no vocation with animals, his diagnosis was wrong, everything is wrong with this hospital.

Dr Nash and his team always go above and beyond to ensure our dog Mia had the best care! I’m so grateful to him and his team. A true veterinarian you can trust! Thank you so much Dr Nash and team!

My dog went here today and he was really sick he has been throwing up and haveing a hard time keeping food or water in. He is only 2 years old and he is the best dog I have had in my life he is so caring and sweet and seeing him so sick just killed my heart I tried to do all I could for him at home and he wasn't getting any better. I called around and most vets were booked up all week and the ones that were not booked they were way out of my price range I would never have been able to get my dog the help that he needed if I didn't call mercy Animal Hospital. I am so grateful for them. Everyone who works there are such kind people and they genuinely care about your pets and helping them. I have never experienced such excellence from any other veterinary clinics in edmonton. I can't thank them enough for helping my dog deeoogee when he really needed treatment. They went above and beyond just good customer service. I highly recommend bringing your pet here they will most definitely be in very good hands. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I brought my dog Angus here as he was having issues with urinary flow. The doctor he saw it was very kind, caring and empathetic, and my dog Angus, who is very skittish, was very comfortable with the doctor. I have definitely found the right place for my boy, and I will continue bringing Angus here. I highly recommend Mercy animal Hospital! Being able to order his specialty food on their website is extremely convenient, and more cost-effective than other places. The food can be delivered directly to their location for pick up or to my home. All around wonderful staff and great place!

The front end staff were calm, kind, and happy.
The vet we saw was also very calm and sat on the floor with our nervous pup. He calmly checked him out and gave his expert opinion and a very affordable and easy way of dealing with the problem.

We called about an emergency with our dog. They saw her as soon as we could get her there, she was treated quickly and we were given instructions on how to care for her, as well as what to watch for in the next 24-48 hours, and they will be doing a re-examination in 7 days at no charge. They were able to bill my insurance company and seemed polite and friendly.

Love this place and it's services, but you guys' need a direct number, so that customers/patients are able to reach you directly, should we have any questions/concerns! I'm tired of talking with the call center, that seems to know nothing.

My pet needed immediate care and no one was to be found in office or by phone. The door was locked and it was extremely cold for my pet and I. The website hours say open. However the door was locked. If my pet dies or has long standing issues from this emergency I am holding this facility responsible

Everyone is accommodating and friendly. I love bringing Molly and Maya here because everyone takes their time to explain things and answer my questions.

THIS VET IS REALLY AMAZING. We live in Tofield, and one of our cats had a puncture wound. They fit us in 20 min before close. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR THESE HUMANS! What a caring and thoughtful establishment. The vet was amazing, all the staff were very caring. I would totally recommend this vet practice. XOXOX

I will not step in this animal hospital again. I have brought 2 cats here before and just for their medical records, the hospital wants $40 PER PET to email me a piece of paper. Not happy with the service here, and will direct friends and family to a different vet. Sadly, I was warned by a co worker after she took her dog with parvo (and they sent her away, saying that her dog is fine). After she took him to another vet, it was confirmed that he had parvo.

Took my dog here after seeing blood in her urine, very sweet staff and was super gentle with her, only thing it just took forever, other then will diffently go back

Front end staff and tech's were so kind. The Vet was very attentive and treated my dog very well. He ensured I understood what was going on and how to administer the medication. I appreciate the kindness shown to us when dealing with our dog. It means a lot when you're worried about your furbaby.

Negative review will stand until followed up with, as promised, after paying $930. Sad, because I going to pay another $977 for another procedure, medication, and specialized dry food, until discovering how they respond, and handle their practice.

I'd highly recommend everyone Albany Vet 4.8 stars with over 300+ reviews, excellent and compassionate service, and a conveniently accessible location on the Northside! They've offered me a discount after hearing about the issue here, though I've yet to book the appointment yet as my current file resides with Mercy, and I'm partially hopefully, though doubtful, that they will follow up in regards to the next steps following medication, as promised. Will update everyone soon.

Friendly staff and the Vets are very knowledgeable and compassionate.
The vet truly went above and beyond for my cat and for me aswell.
It could have been a surgery which many vets would have just done. He spent a day with her observing and doing xrays and saved her from the trauma of going under the knife
They truly care about the animals they treat and are not a place just looking to make money.

This clinic lacks compassion majorly. Pets are like family and they’re so short with you and don’t explain anything. You think they would understand that when most people are bringing their animal in, that they’re already stressed and don’t need to have someone be rude and curt. Aside from the horrible customer service, they also don’t really even help the animal. To me it just seems like they want money and don’t care about animals. I would avoid and find a different vet, plenty in the city to choose from.

NOT AN EMERGENCY CENTRE! If you are having a true emergency with your pet please DO NOT take them here. I'm sure they are fine for everyday care, but they are not equipped to handle a true emergency and the staff have no idea how to behave in a crisis.

I would do negative stars. I came here with my cat Cheetah. They do their exams in the back which is really sketchy. When the doc came back to the room, I asked how she’s doing and he said “good” with nothing else. We left it at that but I was not impressed. I came back the next day and demanded the exam to be done in front of me. The doc started arguing with me saying he already did it and to go somewhere else if I don’t like the way it’s done here. He was handling my cat angrily as he proceeded with the exam and eventually said sorry for his anger once he calmed down. Very unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. Go to Belle Rive Pet Hospital. This place smells like body odour.

My cat Yeti has not been doing well for two weeks, she’s an extremely affectionate cat but has started to avoid us for two weeks, she shows signs of pain when we touch her and she has stopped eating for 2 days and has been vomiting. We took her into Mercy because they were the only vet able to take us at 7pm very last minute. There was obvious signs that something was wrong.

Dr. Nash attended to Yeti and all he did was feel up and down her body and then opened her mouth and said she was dehydrated and administered her some fluid to rehydrate her. He didn’t take her temperature or ANYTHING. We waited in the waiting room longer than what our actual visit with the vet was, it felt completely rushed and we felt like we were quickly dismissed. They charged us $130. $85 for the vet appointment just to open her mouth, and $25 for fluid. What a rip off! It was obvious she was dehydrated because we even told him she has been vomiting and not eating! We left completely hopeless.

Later that evening she went into a high fever and uncontrollably was vomiting and we couldn’t even touch her without her letting off horrible meows. We took her to an emergency vet clinic to find out she actually has Gastroenteritis and they put her on medication right away. That vet clinic also agreed that Mercy vet clinic did not do their job properly and put yeti in more danger instead of what could have been an easy diagnosis.

Read all the bad review before going here, do NOT take your pet here! Feels like these vets here don’t even have an actual license! The only good thing about this clinic is that the receptionists are friendly. Waste of time and money and put my cat in more of a bad condition!

They really are the most cold-hearted and inconsiderate animal hospital I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

I’ve had my dog go to Mercy for the longest time, and with the exception of this one vet, everyone else seems to not know what they are doing. I’ve taken my dog to see this new vet, Dr. Shahzad, and my dog’s ear condition is worse because when we first went in, her left ear is infected… and after our visit, she now has infections in both ears. How is it that after getting her ear cleaned and the swab, along with administering the medication, they made it worse? And when my fiancée expressed how unsatisfied she was, at the fact that they can’t even run more thorough tests, instead of owning up to how negligent they are, they decide to terminate our practitioner-patient relationship.

Don’t bother coming here if you love your pet.

My dog has needed 2 surgeries, both done here, with outstanding care. Staff are pleasant and thoroughly explain what they're doing also what the plan is going to consist of within surgery.

I am sad to put this review up as the first two visits were great.but after that it’s been nothing but problems. We have been given the wrong amount of medication for our cat multiple times. We have waited over 2 hours in the room while others are being cared for and we haven’t been notified what is going on. The communication between their staff isn’t clear, nor the communication given to us as clients.
