First time ever going to a barber and Ray did an amazing job, easily the best haircut I’ve ever had. It’s been a month and it’s still looking good. Can’t wait for my next cut.

After going to a shop I trusted for years and they ended up botching a cut. I came to this place out of good hope and pretty solid reviews. I saw Ray here for the first time a long while ago and haven't stopped seeing him. He is top notch. Takes his time and makes sure you approve after he does his craft. He has a great personable attitude is inviting and cares about your cut. Top tier and consistant. So far the best cuts I've had in years. Keep it up!

Staff is friendly, and you get a professional cut for a good price.
It's also a great place for a straight razor shave or a waxing.

I've been going here for APX 10 years now. I walk in and every hair on my head is cut perfectly. Exceptional beard trim and shaping, and facial waxing (ears, nose, etc) I highly recommend. They always make sure everything is perfect. What an amazing team

Stopped in spur of the moment for a much-needed haircut. The gentleman doing my hair didn’t speak great English (which is totally fine!) but the other guy there made it work just fine. Both were Super friendly. Gave me suggestions and got a haircut and got my beard trimmed (which I’ve never had done) and he was so meticulous with everything he even trimmed my eyebrows! Walked out feeling like a million bucks and literally the best haircut I’ve had in my life. The attention to detail was phenomenal! Maybe that’s normal I don’t know but I’ve never experienced that. I’m 2 hrs outside Edmonton but I will definitely go back to see these guys! Clearly they know what they are doing such great experience thank you!

Metro Barber Shop is the best! Ray is the one who always does my husband's cut. He is very good at what he does and he's efficient. He can work with all hair types!

I have been going to the Metro Barber Shop for over 4 years now. The place is always clean, has a very friendly atmosphere and its in a great location. These guys certainly know how to cut hair, the styles with young people today are over the top and yet they manage to please everyone. It's certainly cheaper than any other place I have been to. You can't go wrong with these guys.

I didn't even get the chance to sit down before Ray, one of the crew members, started having conversation with me and sat me down in the chair. This is definitely the place to go, they have a way of making you feel at home.

Metro Barbershop is easily the best barbershop in Edmonton, and based on my experience the country. The quality and attention to detail you receive is second to none. I had been living out of province for 4 years, and when I walked in one of the staff recognized me. The these guys are true masters of their trade.

Fast and reliable when there is atleast 2 guys working. Had an appt at 1 pm, never got in the chair till 2: 30. Only I guy working. Need 2 guys there at all times. Just saying.

Came here for my usual hair cut. Ray did a excellent and amazing job with the ball fade I got. Very humble, professional and passionate about the work he does into putting the time into making the hair cut 100% I recommend him to anyone in wanting to get a fresh cut done by him.

My 4 year old son and I went in for a haircut on Friday March 26. Our appointment was at 4pm, however; we were early. Ray saw us right away and cut my son's hair exactly like the picture his mom provided. Ray did a great job on my haircut as well. The Barbershop is clean, Covid-19 safe, and a great place to get your haircut at. Great job Ray. Will use you guys exclusively from now on.

Metro is everything you’d expect from a barber shop: Quality cuts, reasonable prices, friendly and quick service.

I ask for Ray every time and have never been disappointed. At the end of the cut, he offers clipper or straight razor to shave the collar and side burns. He also offers to style and add product if I’m not headed home right after. He remembers me by name and we chat about our families. It feels like a small town shop in the big city. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ray was excellent, he did an amazing work on my beard and hair. I will definitely go back to him for my beard and hair.

Been here twice recently and they always close well before the closing time as a customer approaches. Makes zero sense to have a posted closing time of 6pm if you close well before it. Both times as we pulled up an employee went to lock the door and turn off the sign which is frankly just scummy to do but won't be retuning here.

Absolutely adore getting my haircut here. I always find them to be great with conversation. They do a fantastic job with the cuts and offer hot waxing for your ears, nose and nostrils. They are great with a straight blade and I always come out feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, with a smile on my face.

The barbers there are all excellent at what they do especially the owner Amin. They are all professionals that strive to provide outstanding service and I would recommend them in a heart beat!

Best haircut ever. I was kinda freaked out with the ear hair & nose hair waxing I'm 50 so.once I saw the GRAY BUSHELS of hair the wax YANKED out. I now realize why all the girls pointed & ran away from me.

This is a great barber shop with friendly, welcoming staff. Ray has cut my hair twice and twice perfect. Highly recommend wax service as well.

These guys need to renovate their place or at least clean it.
Some of them are good but sometimes you would get a student that would charge the same price and take 3 times the time to finish your hair cut

If you like a barber that pays attention to detail and delivers a great service, see ray at metro. I have yet to find a barber that takes care and puts respect in his work.

Always get a great cut here. Fast, super affordable and awesome results. Doesn't matter who is giving you the cut they are all top of the game masters of their craft. I've gone to other places that were really good, but since discovering Metro I will always come back here.

Don't bother asking for what kind of haircut you like, because in the end your going to get something you never asked for.
POOR SERVICE, FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. I was deceived by these high reviews. A younger bald man had cut my hair, i showed him an image of the medium hair length style i would like. He responded "ok" and began to cut. This man gave me a very short haircut and looked absolutely NOTHING like the image I had shown him. I was so frustrated and upset, because I had to PAY for a haircut that does not even closely resemble for what I had asked for. If the barber didn't know how to cut a medium sized hairstyle, he should have admitted it.

Always give a welcoming feel and provide premium haircuts that receives many compliments, all in record time. Would reccomend this establishment to friends. Jazāk Allāhu Khayran!

Been coming here for around 10 years and they never disappoint. Ray is by far my favourite he is very nice, caring and always gives you the best advice. All other barbers are just as good too. Great price and shop is always clean and looks very nice. Sometimes the wait times can be a little long on the weekends but it’s worth the wait. Overall 10/10 experience everytime I come here and would definitely recommend.
