The entire experience of my most recent appt, (Nov 2023) is being shared easily and with gratitude.
The entire Service dept and the Team provided great communication with updates to my overall Check up, Tire exchange, with pleasant customer service and set a great tone of friendliness and professionalism at the same time.
The projected complection time was met, and the use of a UBER voucher is a very nice Touch.

Scheduling Service was easy online, the staff were on-time when opening the service bay doors at 7am, it was easy to get checked in and get the warranty/service work lined out. The service rep (Michael) communicated to me through out the day to let me know the updates on my vehicle and even sent me an uber to pick me up when my Raptor was done! First time using them, but the customer service was top notch!

Terrible customer service, I pre ordered a ford lightning, I been curious on updates or have some inquiries to see if I can change some stuff on my order, sent some emails and never got an answer,

Update, my lightning had an issue with the battery, it's been almost 2 months on the shop and still nothing, but of course I have to keep paying the truck, I did got a replacement vehicle but it doesn't fit my necesites being a contractor, got the smallest car possible, a mirage from Mitsubishi, at the end I had to rent another truck on my end

Metro Ford has AMAZING customer service. I switched from Universal to Metro becuase of Metro's commitment to customer. I was worried that when they changed location they would not offer the delivery service and I would have to find a new place to service my car. Hailey went above and beyond to confirm that they are continuing the car delivery service when they move and offered me a special price to clean my car! She keep me updated on the status of my vehicle, she is proactive and she made my day! How often can you say that about a machanic? Metro ford is consistant, friendly and trustworthy!

Brought my F150 in because I was having issues with the tailgate opening mechanism. I was told my truck was ready and there was no issue with the tailgate. I insisted there was but nobody cared to follow up. Got the truck home and same issue. The tailgate will often not open unless the truck is turned on and even then it sometimes gets stuck. Seems like an issue with the power supply to the mechanism. Texted my rep back that it was not fixed and sent a video and still nobody cared to reply. Spent May long weekend camping and couldnt get the tail gate down at all. Thanks Metro Ford. Now I have to take it to another Ford dealer to get it fixed.more of my time wasted.

Jackson provided an incredible purchasing experience. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and was passionate to get me in the vehicle of my dreams. The purchasing process was incredibly seamless and overall very positive experience. Amidst the hussle and bustle of the new dealership move, not once did I feel my time and experience was compromised. Bryce, Janice and Jen were very helpful in the process as well! They sold me tires for $1000. In two separate instances, my tires have come off time while driving 100km/h and 40km/h due to poor installation. First, they brushed me off as if it wasn’t their problem or fault. And the second time, I reached out multiple times and never got a callback. Due to their negligence, my life was put at risk. Also, their staff on the service side is unprofessional and unfriendly. I would avoid this location at all costs

Go to another Ford dealer, these guys won't thank you for bringing them a Ford recall with a ride, taxis, ride-share, or even a LRT ticket. Gee thanks for nothing. The recall was for poor workmanship and the dealer has poor customer service. Why did I waste my time coming here when other Ford dealers will at least drive me home. Written as I walk down 9th Ave trying to find a taxis.

We dropped our car off to have a recalled part repaired after receiving a letter advising us to do so. Everyone was friendly and the work was done in a timely fashion. We were, however, quite disappointed when we were told there was no shuttle service. All we were offered was a bus pass. We declined since it was freezing cold outside and we ended up taking a taxi, which cost us $30. Our cab driver mentioned that Metro Ford had an account with them and asked if we received a voucher. We had not been offered any cab vouchers. This was a visit due to a recall, so it was a bit surprising that this ended up costing us anything. Being that this is a car dealership, one would expect an offer for a shuttle service or cab voucher as opposed to being offered a bus pass. We gave 4 stars because we were happy with everything else.

I brought my F150 in for a Ford Recall and was met on December 23rd by Liam who along with the service team Brian and David, reviewed the recall in detail and assured me they would have it completed in short order so as to not inconvenience me any longer than necessary. The team kept me updated during the process and it was completed in short order and I was on my way. I have been dealing with Metro Ford for service and sales for over 40 years and will continue to consider them my Ford dealer of choice. Thank you for the great service Liam, Brian, and David.

I had an appointment with the service department. When I arrived at the service, the staff told me that "We are out of stock of the part. Sorry! Call us 2 weeks later. " That is unacceptable and unprofessional. You should call your customer at least one day before appointment day for cancellation.

Three people waiting in the coffee room gave a scathing review of this dealership. One lady was there for the third time to fix one switch on her 2020 Ford. Two guys waiting with me sat there for a half hour. One asked me. " when's the shuttle arrive? ". I said there is no shuttle or driver. No one in service told them this, Holy poor communication. Also; $600 to change spark plugs? That's a two-hour job at most and $175 minimum to diagnose another issue. That's $800 and nothing is even fixed yet. I walked.
Steve's automotive repair is gonna do a full tune up plugs, air cleaner, fuel filter $4.5 hours all in plus parts. You guys are ridiculous gougers.

Very poor experience with Metro Ford service. Paid them fixing oil leakage for my truck a few month ago, I was told they have to replace the rear pinion seal to fix the leakage, the same spot start leaking again, so I brought in my vehicle, they didn’t answer whether the leak is from the same spot or not, instead asked me to spend more money to rebuild some internal parts and do entire rear differential overhaul. Asked the service advisor to tell me what parts need to be replaced, went to silence. Then I took my vehicle to another place, was told the leak is from the rear pinion seal repaired from last time, was told whoever did the replacement work should provide warranty, so I contacted Metro Ford service advisor, went to slice again, no response at all. Very disappointed.

Totally hassle-free service experience. Metro came to my home to pick up my vehicle, and returned it after the the service was completed. Great service for my family since 2011! Metro Ford keep my Ford Edge, F350 and C-Max running worry free and never try to sell us something we don't need. The staff are amazing both in the sales and service departments!

Update: Our C-Max is still great and we just picked up a new 2022 Ford Maverick for our business. The staff at Metro Ford were fantastic once again! I am really looking forward to seeing them at the new location in Taza Park later this year!

We don’t normally write reviews but because of the long relationship we have had with Ford Metro, this dealership is very highly recommended. We have purchased many vehicles in the past 12 yrs and have always requested communication with the Sales Associate Mr David Sprague. He is professional, very knowledgeable and exceptional in customer service. He has always followed up on our inquiries and always made to sure we had all the information needed to make a buying decision. He always offers to assist in any way to make sure we are satisfied. He makes the whole experience of buying a breeze. This year 2022 we have purchased A Ford Bronco and are so excited about it. Words cannot express how much gratitude we have for David Sprague. Ford Metro has Great people and Great Service than any other Ford Dealership in Calgary.

The service advisor was very polite and kept me posted during the repairs. I dropped off the vehicle to get DPF and tail light looked at. They had all done promptly. They used to provide shuttle service which was an added bonus. But they no longer do.

I had a thick bluish white exhaust after vehicle idled. Took vehicle down the first time they reprogrammed the PCM (which they did not, I know as the dealership that fixed my vehicle had to program it). My vehicle was not fixed at this time.
Returned informed them they did not fix the problem. Left my vehicle with them and they said they could not recreate the exhaust problem, therefore they could not fix it.
Took my vehicle to a different dealership, had no problem recreating the problem. They pulled off one of the engine covers and it had oil on it. If metro ford would of even bothered to look at he engine they would of realized that there was a problem.
I also left a message with two different people down there and no one returned my calls.
Would give zero stars if possible

I had the works package done here on August 3,2021. The package includes tire rotation as one of the works. In doing so they damaged my rims (attached photos of my current rear passenger side rim) and I didn’t notice it until today August 9,2021. I asked to speak with the service manager, which went to voicemail. I left my call back number and waited hours with no results (now office is closed). I really like to have my vehicles clean and hate it with passion for even a minor damage. And I can say that feeing is worse when you actually pay for a service to have it returned with damages. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Excellent experience at Metro Ford! As a first time car buyer I had numerous questions and clarifications that both Mohnish and Cat were happy to answer. Everyone I came into contact with at Metro Ford made me feel so comfortable making this purchase by being transparent and informative about every aspect of this purchase. There was a never an instance of feeling pressured into a purchase. Mohnish was flexible and went above and beyond down to every detail. The highlight of this experience was the professionalism and knowledgeability of Cat and Mohnish. Every question I had was answered expertly and never in a condescending manner. Update - after seeing my review Jason and David worked with me to resolve the issue. They were very professional and easy to deal with. I have updated my review to 3 stars to reflect that they resolved the issue. It would be 5 stars based on my dealings with Jason and David alone, however due to the inconvenience of having to return to deal with this I have rated 3 stars overall. I will return to this dealership again based on Jason and David’s work.

Original Review (1 star) - I took my car in for recall work and a detail. After leaving my car no longer recognized my phone in the Bluetooth setting, the USB port was not working, and Apple Carplay did not function. I now have several error messages on the car’s display. When I asked this to be looked at I was told it was likely my fault and I would have to pay a $176 diagnostic fee for them to examine my vehicle. All I did was plug my phone back into the USB so this is incredibly insulting and frustrating. They were completely unaccountable for their actions and I will not return.

My family has now bought 4 vehicles within the last 4 months from Metro Ford.
Working with Sunny and Shaddy is seamless. They have never wasted my families time. We get top notch service from them every time we come in. These guys are kind, easy to talk to and incredibly good at their jobs. Shaddy did an incredible job at personalizing my experience this time around and also made the process of getting me into my little Ford Escape a quick process. Jen was efficient and very easy to talk to. Metro Ford has grade A level employees, I recommend and refer everyone here!

I give 1 start review because 2 reasons. 1) i brought vehicle in for service and have to pay out of my own pocket for shuttle back.whereas other ford dealerships would schedule shuttle for customers.reason 2), when my vehicle was 2 years old with 20,000 KM per year, i was asked to do transmission fluid, break fluid change, i think this is silly.thanks

A pleasant experience overall. The salesperson was very accommodating in making two visits to our residence. The first visit was to bring the car to us to view and test drive. The second visit was to bring us the car again a few days later after purchase and to drive our trade-in car away. All paperwork was done online and we never had to visit the dealership. Possibly a rare perk of Covid and the pandemic. There were two issues that we wish we did not have to deal with. First, we were instructed to complete a registration authorization form allowing the dealer to act and transfer our plate from our old vehicle to the purchases vehicle and that registration papers would be provided to us. This did not happen as we still had to go to the registry office. So, the online form was a waste of time. Also, the dealership forgot to sign their section of the bill of sale/purchase agreement. We had to call the salesperson to have someone from the dealership sign the bill of sale and email a copy to the registry. The salesperson was quite quick to respond and have this taken care of, but it was still a bit of an unpleasant experience just to get registration. The second issue is that there were no screws left on the vehicle for us to mount our plate with.

Leased a 2020 Escape Titanium Hybrid last week. Best thing I did all year. The vehicle is outstanding in all respects. Yesterday's snowstorm (22/12/2020) confirmed its capability in snow. I was on Centre Street in Calgary before the snow plows had passed and I was doubtful I could cross the Centre Street bridge and go up the hill without getting stuck. There were several city buses already stuck in snow waiting to be towed. I put the vehicle in heavy snow/sand mode and the vehicle never flinched, skidded or deviated from its path. I turned on 35th Avenue NE and I was the first tire tracks on the avenue. It didn't matter, the vehicle plowed through that snow like it wasn't there. Those 19" all weather tires worked as advertised. The salesman, David Sprague said I wouldn't need winter tires with those all weather tires. David Sprague and Metro Ford, thank you.

This was a horrible experience. This dealership has no concept of customer service. When the complaint was laid out the manager said “what do you want from me? ”. The replaced bolts on my car without my permission and then charged me extra labour for it. The technician went off with my car keys for his lunch break and I had to wait an extra hour for him to come back. The manager could not care less. I am a student and couldn’t afford that. Never going back to this place.

My advisor, Tammy, was lovely and very knowledgeable. Overall GREAT experience at this dealership. Everyone I dealt with here was amazing. I've been having issues with my car TCM and had it looked at by another Ford Dealership (Woodridge). There I received terrible service, they could not even complete the diagnostic in one day. I brought it back for my second appointment and was turned away at the door. Metro Ford completed my diagnostic, replaced my TCM, and ran an inspection for a recall all in ONE day, something the other dealership couldn't do within three appointments. I have great trust in Metro Ford now. Thank you! I'm so happy to have my car back and running better than ever.

Purchased a F150 Lariat with Nick Li this week. It is my second vehicle that I purchased with him. We moved To Calgary from South Africa two years ago and Ford was the only company that was willing to help us with no credit history. Now two years later we traded our Escape for the F150. Nick is a master Sales Manager. He is in contact with you just the right amount of time over the period of your lease and when it comes to choosing your new vehicle he'll remember your most intricate needsand details. I would recommend buying a vehicle from him anytime. As an added bonus Metro Ford has a great finance team. Cat helped us the first time round and Jennifer help us this time. Both are gems and makes the buying process a dream.

Three years ago I bought my 2017 Ford Escape from Metro Ford with the help of David Sprague. This was my first car and David was an excellent sales person. He made me feel comfortable and I didn’t feel pressured to commit to anything I didn’t want to. Today, I returned to Metro Ford to look at the new Ford Escape. My experience was made even better knowing David was going to help me out.

If you’re ever at Metro Ford and you’re looking for an excellent sales person, I highly recommend David Sprague! You will be well taken care of and he will go out of his way to make sure you’re happy and have a great experience getting a vehicle. You cannot go wrong with David!

I saw they had a good deal for a used Nissan last week. I filled in an online form for a test drive and got a call from Shaddy shortly after saying that the car is ready for me. They let me do the test drive around the City for as long as they stayed open that day. I liked the car and ran a couple of different financing options with Shaddy. Less than a week later I picked it up. They did registration for me and gave me 30 day warranty too. Great overall experience.

I thought I had left a review a while ago, but it seems like it had not gone through.

I went to get an oil change and simple patch up on my tire and walked out with almost $400 bill.

They had mentioned to me that my lugnuts were faulty and never explained the cost of replacing. They put the same faulty lugnut product onto my vehicle. I'm a student, and a woman, I genuinely felt taken advantage of. On top of that, one of the technicians had left for lunch with my keys and I was sat waiting for an hour until they came back. I complained to the service manager and he couldn't have cared less.

They also advised me to replace my tires for the winter season, I stupidly took this advice and went to a tire shop. After another hefty bill, I found out that my old tires were good for another two seasons.

I don't have a father or uncle or whatever to advise me on this stuff - and I feel places like this take advantage of woman in this position.

I was recommended to Metro Ford back in 2008, everything was good up until this year, the store has everything broke up in to departments all of which work against each other, if you buy a vehicle and there is a problem the Sales Department doesn't even want to know about the problem that's another department, deal with them. The Service Department will ask you to leave if you raise a stink and will refer you to the upper management department, were you meet Reg Pattemore or Bryan Benny and you will get told that the company is broke up in many different departments and each department has it's own Policy and Procedures (a Manuel is available upon request). Johnny Lu his hands are tied, all conversations begin and end in "My hands are Tied" just what a loyal customer doesn't want to hear. The President of Sales, Sundeep Brar, has no time for customers asking for the use of a demo or a lot vehicle to try out for the afternoon as I have bought 12 vehicles from them over 12 years. I' am done.

Update:
4: 20 PM February 20,2020 I got a call from my friend and he said first Johnny Lu called him and told him Sundeep and Liam were about to fire him, they told him Sundeep won't allow my friend to deal there if he even associates with me, Johnny told my friend he is to no longer associate with me. Imagine telling a 50 some year old successful businessman who is worth millions not to associate with me, I provide him the costs so these snakes don't screw him with their add on fee's FYI Never pay Admin & Doc r Amvic Fee.

If this keeps up I will notify Mr Smith and other Ford executives and post their contact info on here, I got the info from here back a long time ago.

The service is always amazing, the people are extremely friendly and pleasant. The work is always done correct on the truck, I'm never having to take it back because something wasn't done properly. Such a convenient location and everyone that works there is such a joy to deal with. Thanks Metro Ford.

Today I had a small but annoying issue with my Ford F-150 Lariat. I decided to drive over and just stop in to see if anyone could help. Within 2 minutes Travis from service had me drive into the service area. He identified and resolved the issue in a minute — and then took 10 minutes to remind me of all the great features on this truck. Now that kind of personal and knowledgeable service is very rare these days. Made me appreciate Metro Ford even more. Thank you Travis!

Have had my truck in there 03 times for the same reason and the problem was not solved. One of the employees told me some ways in which I could go about finding a temporary solution but not permanent. Went to another location and it was a really fix. Not sure if I would suggest this location as my experiences have not been that great but I guess people have different experiences.

Metro Ford has AMAZING customer service. I bought a Lincoln at Universal and switched to Metro because of Christina and the service team. They keep me updated on the status of my vehicle, they are proactive and they follow up on on my requests. Next time I would buy my car from Metro because of their first class service.

Just completed the purchase of a used Ford F-150 at Metro Ford, and will say I am quite impressed with the service. Jamar whom I dealt with was polite, cordial, and willing to go the extra mile to meet me on a timeframe that worked with my busy schedule. I am a customer with very high expectations, but Jamar was incredibly patient, kind, and steadfast in helping me get the best deal possible on the vehicle I purchased. Jamar and the entire Metro Ford staff are knowledgeable, authentic, and dedicated to the highest level of customer service.

I come from a long line of proud Chevrolet owners, but this experience has certainly swayed me towards Ford vehicles and the Metro Ford dealership itself. Perhaps this is the first of many F-150's in my lifetime!

I bought a pre-owned car from metro ford. The sales Nick is perfect! He is nice, patient and professional! I love the car. It is easy to drive and quite new!

Purchased a new 2020 Ford Explorer ST. Traded in our 2016 F150 Lariat. Stephen Aston the product specialist was great to deal with.new his stuff and gave us a fair price, including trade. None of the games one often encounters when trying to purchase a new vehicle. Dave Halberstadt in the business office was also very helpful.got us a credit on our existing vehicle warranty which we were able to apply against the new vehicle warranty. Pleased with the process, pricing and the vehicle.

We were greeted as soon as we entered in. The sales person was quite knowledgeable, provided several buying options, answered all of our questions. He never sounded rushing to close the deal. Would surely recommend this place.

I wanted to thank Metro Ford and their service manager for going above and beyond to fix their mistakes. I took my car in for a simple recall and a series of mishaps occurred. They were willing to do whatever it took to make me happy and fix their mistakes. Things happen, how you recover is what matters. Thank you for taking the time to recover well!
