I would give them 0 stars if I could.a friend went there and they called him ma'am the staff are trans phobic. He is a guy not a woman! If you are a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community avoid this location the staff / students are trans phobic and won't even use the right pronouns even though it asks on the form what their pronouns are and the staff / students ignore this. Clearly the staff doesn't understand the gender dysphoria and harm they have caused by mis-gendering my friend. Absolutely horrible experience avoid this location!

Graduated 2004 MHVicars school is THEE best in Edmonton- Excellent solid remedial training (unlike a certain other that skips patient saftey and lacks technique) I highly recommend Vicars! I personally won't be treated by any other massage therapist!

They are really picky on clients. They misconstrued what was said. Even if it’s a joke. Summer students do a really good job, other students well I’d rather not say.

Can’t say much for some of the office staff. Not friendly not professional. And they take the story to the nth degree

This is a school which Students in training that give you a massage for only 35 dollars for an hour
It’s a great deal and the students are awesome in giving massages

Always a great value - some of the students are even better than the professionals because they are so focused. Be specific in your needs for best results! And remember they are students so be realistic in your expectations:)

I have been visiting MH Vicars for about 5 years. The students and instructors are amazing! They know their stuff and work with each client to address individual needs. Out of the dozens of massages I’ve had from MHV students, I’ve only been disappointed with one. I have a thick file and a lot of issues, so that’s a pretty good track record! Can’t wait till the school is open again! I miss you all!

I love going to MH Vicars School of Massage for their one hour massages. The price is amazing. Their massages keep my previously, recurring pain at bay.

The students ask questions and listen intently. They ask for feedback. They offer home exercises and/or stretches to do at home. The massages feel wonderful. The students are friendly and eager to relieve any pain or discomfort I have.

I have been going to MH Vicars School Of Massage for years and have always had a positive experience. The staff conduct themselves in a professional manner, while being very personable at the same time. The students work with you to determine what your massage needs and limitations are. Instructors are always on hand to offer guidance to the students as well.

I started going to MH Vicars school of Massage Therapy after my Accident Benefits ran out approximately 2.5 years ago.
I have found the students and the Instructors to be outstanding and very professional. In my opinion the the majority of the students whether they were first or second year student were better equipped and more knowledgeable than several licensed Massage Therapists that worked in the Physiotherapist's Clinic. Not only were the massage treatments I received from the students superior and more beneficial then Treatments I received from other licensed massage therapists, the Instructors checked in and always showed the students techniques that allowed them to perform therapy tailored to me and included exercises that furthered my healing. It is amazing.
I went from chronic constant pain, that limited how far I could walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, sleep. I had whiplash, TMJ, Migraines, I could go on and on.
The best compliment I can give is that my physiotherapist recommended MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy to other patients he had. And I look forward to returning to the School when it re-opens for a tune-up and relaxation massages.

MH Vicars is absolutely awesome to go to for massage. I have been going there for over a year and feel so grateful that this school allows for affordable massage. I feel very confident with the services as an instructor always checks in during my appointment to make sure there are no questions from the therapist or myself. I have had quite a few massages in my life and can honestly say that some of the best have been through this school. I’m so looking forward to going back when it’s safe to open and would encourage you to do the same. My heart and prayers go out to all the students and instructors that it will be safe to commence your studies and get to interact soon.

The student massage clinic at MH Vicars School is the best I’ve been too. This school holds themselves at a high standard, and teaches the students to do the same. Very professional, great price, and I’ve honestly never had a bad massage here. Quality students!

I’ve been going here for a year, up to Covid, and I have always had a great experience. I’ve learnt lots of different techniques that have helped me live with my aches and pains associated with my osteoarthritis.
I was going once a week and now haven’t been since March with the Covid 19.
I am anxious to get back to some kind of normal, whatever that may be, hopefully massages will be coming back soon.

I've been getting regular massages at MH Vicars for about 2 years. I suffer from TMJ issues and migraines, massage therapy provides the means to lead a 'normal' life. All of the students are great, they take instruction and feedback well. During your session staff check in and are there to offer suggestions and/or praise. Students give follow up exercises after treatment, and communicate through out to make sure your experience is the best. I highly recommend booking at MH Vicars School as soon as you can.

I've been a massage therapist for 21 years and I have to say that the students at MH Vicars give very good and professional massages. They are knowledgeable, have a firm/confident pressure; the draping is done correctly. I'm always impressed and feel more relaxed when I leave there.
I also highly recommend this school if you're considering a career in massage therapy!

I had an amazing experience and education at M. H. Vicars. The staff and teachers have all been helpful and inspirational. Each member truly wants all the students to succeed.

The curriculum was set-up quite smoothly; I had no difficulties comprehending the material.

I have recommended the school to many individuals who have an interest in the Massage Therapy field.

I only have one star because the price is great for a massage. Not sure why they let you pick your therapist because if you get a favorite, after you see the same person twice they just change you to who ever. This happened to me 3 times in the 2 years I'd been going there. They just tell you oh you can't keep seeing the same therapist because they dont get new experiences from other people. My question is then why do u get to choose them? Very very unprofessional in that regard. However I thought I would try them just one more time. Called them because I originally deleted my account. The front desk hummed and hawed about setting up my account n said they'd call me back. NO CALL BACK.after 3 weeks. I realize the price is great but save up your money and go to a regular clinic. Some of the therapists there have great potential though. I miss the one girl I used to go to.

These students on the average are as good as many of the massage therapist I have seen who have graduated and are now asking over $100. The students do their best, and are really professional and give you a very good massage. The atmosphere is very pleasant too and the building is spotless! Truly spotless, good massage and very professional. I can't thank them enough for the free clinics and the low affordable prices that are well worth going there for. Just thankful for them all. Just wonderful.

The staff and therapists are professional, caring and wise! Being a professional athlete with post concussion symptoms and chronic issues is very tiring and taxing but I’ve felt such relief after treatments that my aches and dizziness issues are resolved. Also their post massage home rehab helps keep the range of motion and reduce nerve pinching. It is obvious very high end professional work and client focus is their goal.

This is a great place to get a wallet-friendly massage, while helping the students by giving them valuable feedback. Understandably, some students have more strength than others, and some have less technique than others. The good news is that once you're in their system, you can try to choose your favourites. As this is a school, don't expect full silence. You are being massaged alongside other clients, separated by curtains, similar to a hospital room partition. The lights will be dimmed, the music will come on, and you will have a one hour massage. Students practice all aspects of their desired career, so you will be assessed, massaged, and then given some aftercare instructions. After which you will fill out a form about your experience.

Finished my first year at this school and yes it is top rate if you want a massage therapy school that WILL prepare you for entry to practice exams in any of the regulated provinces.due to scheduling issues, I did my second year at another college and I ended up spending another $5000 in outside training to get the quality that I would have received if I stayed here. Again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! DONT EVEN BOTHER LOOKING AT ANY OTHER COLLEGE if you are wanting to practice massage therapy
